Creative thinking skills are important for long-term success. Empowering creative thinking skills which can be trained through problem-solving activities in learning, thereby promoting high cognitive engagement. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the research and development product of Problem-Based Learning module of environmental changes in empowering students’ creative thinking skills. The research method used was the Quasi-experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sample of the research was the tenth-graders of a Senior High School in Karanganyar district, Central Java. The sampling was cluster sampling by involving two classes, namely the Grade X-MIA 1 with 28 students and the X-MIA 4 with 28 students. The qualitative and quantitative-descriptive approaches were used to analyze the data. The result shows the mean of creative thinking skills score of experiment group is higher than the control group. This developed module could empower students’ creative thinking skills by problem-solving activities as needed for Indonesian educational goal . The study concludes that development module was constructed based on Problem-based Learning activities in the module could stimulate students solved and identified the problems with their ideas and developed their creative thinking.

This research aim to : (1) To analyse validity of study peripheral base on the problem based learning which have been developed to improve the ability of mathematical reasoning, (2) To analyse effectiveness of study peripheral base on the problem based learning which have been developed to improve the ability of mathematical reasoning, (3) To analyse the improvement of ability mathematical reasoning student by using study peripheral base on the problem based learning which have been developed.. Research type used is development research by using modification of development model 4-D. This Research step is define, design, develop and disseminate. In this research is compiled by peripheral of study and instrument that is : lesson plan, sheet of student activity, teacher book, student book, tes of ability of reasoning. Try out conducted atstudent of class VIII-A as much 23 people and VII-B as much 25 people in MTS. Cerdas Murni Medan. Result of this research indicate that : (1) Validity of study peripheral of according to expert team is valid (2) Study Peripheral reach the effective criterion that is complete of klasikal reach 91,3%, respon student to study obtained mean 95,02% and study time not differ far with the ordinary study time, (3) Improvement the ability of mathematical reasoning use the study peripheral base on the problem which have been developed to be seen from value N-Gain that is 0,61 in category "medium"Keyword :   Development of Study Peripheral, Problem Based Learning, Mathematic Reasoning,

This research aims to; 1) comparing the Problem Based Learning model with the direct learning model from the perspective of students' mathematical reasoning abilities. 2). Look at the interaction of effects between learning models and gender on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The design of this study used a 2 x 2 factorial design. Sampling was carried out using a simple random sampling technique by first conducting a class equality test. Data was collected using a test technique in the form of a question matter. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The analysis shows that; 1). The problem-based learning model of learning is better than the direct learning model in terms of students 'mathematical punishment abilities, 2. There was no interaction between the learning models used with the gender on the students' mathematical punishment abilities of students. Both male and female students requested compilation to be taught by applying the problem-based learning model to the direct learning model. Kata Kunci:  Problem Based Learning; Gender; Penalaran Matematis
