The research aimed to describe the learning activities and the ability of scientific literacy (attitude, context, knowledge, and competence) Students of Primary Education Postgraduate Program of Bengkulu University in natural science subjects by using the PjBL model. The Classroom Action Research done in three cycles for Primary Education Postgraduate Program students of Bengkulu University in the first semester of 2019/2020 academic year. Instrument and data collection techniques are observations, tests, and rubrics. The observation was on student activities in learning and aspects of caring for the environment and caring for health. The instruments were HOTS test and rubric. The science aspect uses the student report assessment sheet. The indicators of successful actions were the activities of lecturers and students in teaching and learning by using PjBL in good categories, and the percentage of students who show attitudes, context, knowledge, and competencies of science meet good categories at least 80%. The results of this research are the using of Project-Based Learning model can improve the learning activities of Primary Education Postgraduate Program Students of Bengkulu University in a natural science subject and can improve the scientific literacy aspects of an attitude, context, knowledge, and competencies for Primary Education Postgraduate Program in the science subject.

Implementing monitoring over construction process of old bridge’s reinforcement serves as an important measure to ensure construction quality and safety and realize the goal of reinforcement. This paper, with a case study of the maintenance and reinforcement project of Zhicheng Yangtze River Bridge (steel truss highway-railway combined bridge), adopted MIDAS to establish finite element analysis model, and with stress and deformation as monitoring parameters, completed the construction monitoring work, numerical simulation analysis and site test for the reinforcement project.

Targeting at students randomly selected across all departments and all years at one university located in northern Taiwan, this research based on hierarchical regression analysis aims to investigate whether or not global warming awareness education exerts a positive effect on research participants’ energy-saving cognition and attitude. the results indicate that the 8 hypotheses proposed are all supported. Firstly, green education courses and global warming awareness videos have significantly positive impact on participants’ cognition and attitude as compare to their peers who did not take the courses or view the videos. Secondly, the participants’ scientific literacy positively influences their energy-saving cognition, which in turn positively impacts on energy-saving attitude. Furthermore, energy-saving cognition plays a completely intermediate role between scientific literacy and energy-saving attitude. Results mentioned conclude the contributions of this research.

Self-efficacious teachers are critical in the development of students’ positive attitudes towards science and scientific literacy yet to date little attention has been given to studies of experienced teachers of primary science and development of their self-efficacy (SE) beliefs. The aim of this study was to explore how two experienced teachers of primary science built their SE beliefs and outcome expectancy. Bandura’s (1977) SE framework provided the conceptual lens to understand participants’ experiences and beliefs. Findings suggest that teachers’ SE beliefs had developed over time, creating a foundation for a strong expectancy outcome. Each of the sources of influence made a significant contribution to their beliefs about their science teaching capability and the value of science. Seemingly, their strong outcome expectancy enabled them to be persistent and resilient, overcoming challenges as they arose. We argue that a strong expectancy outcome is necessary to ensure SE does not weaken over time.

Concentration disorders accompanied by hyperactivity in children with ADHD are conditions that show symptoms of lack concentration, hyperactivity and impulsiveness that causes an imbalance of most of their life activities. This makes parents have difficulty in providing prayer guidance to children who have ADHD. Starting from this problem, the researcher tries to make a scientific about Parents' Method in the Development of Child Prayers Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) (Case Study of ADHD Children in Kulam Kemukiman Syamtarail Village, North Aceh)." This study was conducted to describe the method parents in providing prayer services to children with ADHD in  Kulam Kemukiman Syamtarail Village, North Aceh. This thesis research method uses the case study method which is a study that tries to examine individuals or a unit in depth with a qualitative approach. In collecting data researchers conducted observations and direct interviews within formants who have been used as samples, as well as documentation. While the analysis of data through observations in this thesis uses a theme analysis model technique where all data after being collected will be processed one by one. The results showed that ADHD children's prayer guidance involved all family members, namely the father, mother, siblings and cousins of ADHD children. As for the methods carried out by the family in the guidance of prayers in children with ADHD can be concluded as follows:1. Intelegently; 2. Be haviour; 3. By monitoring.

Discussions dealing with natural science, philosophy and common sense are bound to draw on long-standing debates dealing with realism, methodology of science, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, epistemology, theories of meaning, and other topics. Instead of presenting a broad overview of these main trends, which will necessarily be superficial, I will do a kind of case study. The aim is to present just one particular debate which is of relevance to current research. The presentation is meant to give a taste of how these various long-standing debates are brought to bear on a specific issue. In this way, the very practice of engaging in a particular area of philosophy of science will serve as a platform from where the major areas can be seen in actual operation. The paper has four sections: the nature of ordinary talk; the ontological implications of this; the recently proposed account of the mental; an evaluation.
