To guarantee the successful completion of airworthiness certification test for a certain type of aircraft, the leakage and discharge compliance criteria of flammable liquid were designed by studying airworthiness requirements and the design characteristic of the civil aircraft, where flammable liquid leakage zones and hazardous zones in which liquids are not allowed to enter were determined. Further the test equipments and the dyeing liquor for replacing flammable fluid were developed, and ground and flight test methods were proposed. Moreover, the above test equipment and methods were applied to flight tests of flammable liquid leakage and discharge for certain civil aircraft. The test results show that the test equipment is stable and reliable, and the flight test method can accurately demonstrate the flammable liquid leakage and discharge.

AbstractThe single most reliable indicator of a material’s durability is its performance in long-term tests, which cannot always be carried out due to a limited time budget. The second option is to perform some kind of accelerated durability tests. The aim of the work described in this article was to develop a method for the accelerated durability testing of binders. It was decided that the Arrhenius equation approach and the theory of chemical reaction kinetics would be applied in this case. The degradation process has been simplified to a single quantifiable parameter, which became compressive strength. A model hydraulic binder based on fluidised bed combustion ash (FBC ash) was chosen as the test subject for the development of the method. The model binder and its hydration products were tested by high-temperature X-ray diffraction analysis. The main hydration product of this binder was ettringite. Due to the thermodynamic instability of this mineral, it was possible to verify the proposed method via long term testing. In order to accelerate the chemical reactions in the binder, four combinations of two temperatures (65 and 85°C) and two different relative humidities (14 and 100%) were used. The upper temperature limit was chosen because of the results of the high-temperature x-ray testing of the ettringite’s decomposition. The calculation formulae for the accelerated durability tests were derived on the basis of data regarding the decrease in compressive strength under the conditions imposed by the four above-mentioned combinations. The mineralogical composition of the binder after degradation was also described. The final degradation product was gypsum under dry conditions and monosulphate under wet conditions. The validity of the method and formula was subsequently verified by means of long-term testing. A very good correspondence between the calculated and real values was achieved. The deviation of these values did not exceed 5 %. The designed and verified method does not also consider the influence of other effects, for instance, chemical corrosion or corrosion caused by frost-thaw cycles. However, this method could be a supplementary tool applicable to the study of degradation processes and the estimation of a binder´s durability as well.

Abstract In the process of civil aircraft airworthiness, analyzing power quality is the key to verify whether the power supply system meets the requirements of the clause. This paper makes deep research on the domestic and foreign power supply quality standard files and detailed introduces the characteristics of the power supply quality standard files. Then, comparative and analysis give suggestions which tally with power supply quality test requirements. Finally, define the special power supply quality test method for the practical engineering specifically, and power supply quality test characteristic in civil aircraft flight test, to provide guidance help for the future civil aircraft models.

In vertical cold launch the missile starts without the function of the main engine. Over the launcher, the attitude of the missile is controlled by a set of lateral thrusters. However, a quick turn might be disturbed by various uncertainties. This study discusses the problem of the influences of disturbances and the repeatability of lateral thrusters’ ignition on the pitch maneuver quality. The generic 152.4 mm projectile equipped in small, solid propellant lateral thrusters was used as a test platform. A six degree of freedom mathematical model was developed to execute the Monte-Carlo simulations of the launch phase and to prepare the flight test campaign. The parametric analysis was performed to investigate the influence of system uncertainties on quick turn repeatability. A series of ground laboratory trials was accomplished. Thirteen flight tests were completed on the missile test range. The flight parameters were measured using an onboard inertial measurement unit and a ground vision system. It was experimentally proved that the cold vertical launch maneuver could be realized properly with at least two lateral motors. It was found that the initial roll rate of the projectile and the lateral thrusters ‘igniters’ uncertainties could affect the pitch angle achieved and must be minimized to reduce the projectile dispersion.
