Thickness thinning is the principal quality problem in the vacuum forming process of the refrigerator inner liner. In this paper, the structural parameters of refrigerator inner liner were analyzed based on orthogonal experiments and numerical simulation. Optimized structural parameters combination scheme and the significance level of structural parameters to thickness were obtained by analyzing the results of orthogonal experiments. Validation experiment results shown that the quality of refrigerator inner liner based on the optimized structural parameters combination scheme improved effectively.

AbstractIn order to effectively reduce the coal dust concentration in a fully mechanized mining face, this research used laboratory experiment, numerical simulation, and field test to conduct an in-depth exploration of the ejector precipitator installed at the low-level caving coal hydraulic support. Firstly, through the experimental platform in the laboratory, the dust removal effect of the nozzle with different structural parameters was tested, and the 3D particle dynamic analyzer was adopted to verify its atomization characteristics; then, the structural parameters corresponding to the nozzle in the best test results were obtained. Secondly, by using Fluent, the negative pressure flow field in the ejector barrel was numerically simulated. The results indicated that when the pressure of supply water was 12 MPa, the negative pressure value formed in the flow field was the lowest and the inspiratory velocity was the largest, which was conducive to dust removal. Finally, the tests of liquid–gas ratio and dust removal ratio were carried out in a fully mechanized mining face. The results showed that when the nozzle specification recommended by the experiment and the pressure of supply water recommended by the numerical simulation were used, the removal ratios of the total coal dust and the respirable coal dust were 89.5% and 91.0%, respectively, at the measuring point of the highest coal dust concentration. It indicates that the ejector precipitator has a good application effect in reducing the coal dust concentration in a fully mechanized mining face and improving the work environment of coal mine workers.

Due to the complicated structure and the high speed turbulence, it is difficult to measure and analyze the flow field characteristics of the main nozzle by experimental methods, naturally, some software such as FLUENT become a powerful tool to perform the numerical simulation for flow field of the main nozzle of an air-jet loom. The distribution of the airflow velocity and static pressure along axial and radial direction in main nozzle were investigated. The results indicated that the airflow in the main nozzle was extremely complex, its velocity in throat could be sonic and a certain backflow was produced. The research results will play an important role on the structural parameters optimization and energy conservation.

In view of the difficulty of traditional hydrocyclones to meet the requirements of fine classification, a double-overflow three-product (internal overflow, external overflow and underflow) hydrocyclone was designed in this study. Numerical simulation and experimental research methods were used to investigate the effects of double-overflow flow field characteristics and structural parameters (i.e., internal vortex finder diameter and insertion depth) on separation performance. The research results showed that the larger the diameter of the internal vortex finder, the greater the overflow yield and the larger the cut size. The finest internal overflow product can be obtained when the internal vortex finder is 30 mm longer than the external vortex finder. The separation efficiency is highest when the internal vortex finder is 30 mm shorter than the external vortex finder.

HighlightsThe seeder combined the plowing and rotating tillage to overcome the heavy soil and a large amount of straws. The plow could lift and turn the soil and straw before rotary tillage. The optimal working parameters of the seeder were obtained by orthogonal field experiments.Abstract. Rapeseed, one of the most important oil crops in China, is mainly planted in the mid-lower reaches of the Yangtze River. However, limited by the special long-term rice-rapeseed rotation, rotary tillage is applied in most of the planted areas apply instead of plow tillage, leading to a shallow arable layer. On the other hand, maintaining a high-quality seedbed for rapeseed becomes a challenge because a large amount of straw remains buried in the soil. As a solution, a rapeseed direct seeder that combines plow tillage and rotary tillage was designed. The structure of the plowing unit, whose key components were a lifting-turning plow and symmetrical plow, was analyzed based on the forming principle of the plow. Furthermore, a mechanical soil throwing model of the rotary tillage blade was built to determine the structural parameters. Then, the interaction between the rotary tillage unit and the lift-turning plow was analyzed. Finally, the performance and optimal parameters were evaluated by orthogonal field experiments. The seedbed after the operations indicated that the seeder could achieve the function of turning the soil and straw first and then rotating the soil with good passability, mixing the straw and the soil, flattening the surface of the seed bed, and stabilizing the tillage depth. Orthogonal experiments showed that the optimal working parameters of the seeder were as follows: the tillage depth was 180 mm, the equipment forward speed was 2.1 km/h, and the speed of the rotary tillage blade was 250 r/min. Under the optimal parameter combination, the power consumption of the seeder, the thickness of the tillage layer, the crop residue burial efficiency, the soil breakage efficiency, and the flatness of the seed bed surface were 30.48 kW, 231 mm, 90.88%, 93.26%, and 21.15 mm, respectively. The working performance of the seeder could meet the tillage requirements of rapeseed planting. Keywords: Direct seeder, Evaluation, Plow, Plowing-rotating combined tillage, Rapeseed.

We have analyzed the spin-filtering effects of the electron current in asymmetric ZnSe/Zn1-xMnxSe multilayer structures, under the influence of both an external magnetic field and a bias voltage. In this type of semiconductor systems, conduction band electrons interact with 3d electrons of the magnetic Mn2+ ions. Because of this sp-d exchange interaction, an external magnetic field modulates the effective potential profile seen by spin-up and spin-down electrons, giving rise to a large Zeeman effect. It is found that the degree of spin polarization changes significantly when the electrical bias is switched from forward to reverse, thus the proposed structure displays obvious behavior of spin-filter diode. This originates from the effective “lifting” of the potential for spin-up electrons, which tunnel through actual potential barriers. Structural parameters optimization, with the goal of maximizing the spin-filtering coefficient, was performed by using simulated annealing algorithm. The described effect may be important for designing new tunable spin-based multifunctional semiconductor devices.

Abstract Production prediction continues to play an increasingly significant role in reservoir development adjustment and optimization, especially in water-alternating-gas (WAG) flooding. As artificial intelligence continues to develop, data-driven machine learning method can establish a robust model based on massive data to clarify development risks and challenges, predict development dynamic characteristics in advance. This study gathers over 15 years actual data from targeted carbonate reservoir and establishes a robust Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network prediction model based on correlation analysis, data cleaning, feature variables selection, hyper-parameters optimization and model evaluation to forecast oil production, gas-oil ratio (GOR), and water cut (WC) of WAG flooding. In comparison to traditional reservoir numerical simulation (RNS), LSTM neural networks have a huge advantage in terms of computational efficiency and prediction accuracy. The calculation time of LSTM method is 864% less than reservoir numerical simulation method, while prediction error of LSTM method is 261% less than RNS method. We classify producers into three types based on the prediction results and propose optimization measures aimed at the risks and challenges they faced. Field implementation indicates promising outcome with better reservoir support, lower GOR, lower WC, and stabler oil production. This study provides a novel direction for application of artificial intelligence in WAG flooding development and optimization.
