Metric dimension is the extraction of the affine dimension (obtained from Euclidean space E d ) to the arbitrary metric space. A family ℱ = G n of connected graphs with n ≥ 3 is a family of constant metric dimension if dim G = k (some constant) for all graphs in the family. Family ℱ has bounded metric dimension if dim G n ≤ M , for all graphs in ℱ . Metric dimension is used to locate the position in the Global Positioning System (GPS), optimization, network theory, and image processing. It is also used for the location of hospitals and other places in big cities to trace these places. In this paper, we analyzed the features and metric dimension of generalized convex polytopes and showed that this family belongs to the family of bounded metric dimension.

Creative industries and tourism is one sector that is easiest to improve the condition of the economy of a region. This study discusses the information distribution service usage model of mobile application technology using Location Based Service (LBS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) in the development of creative industries through integration with products of tourist destinations. By using the technology of location based services and global positioning system that will be developed and implemented on the application of geographic information systems and web-based mobile android, then the those creative industries would be material and guidance in utilizing information technology as a means to promote the business of creative industries it has to be more effective and efficient

A lane departure warning system is a critical element among advanced driver-assistance systems functions, which has significant potential to reduce crashes. Generally, lane departure warning systems use image processing or optical scanning techniques to detect a lane departure. These systems have some limitations, however, such as harsh weather or irregular lane markings having a negative influence on their performance. Integrating global positioning system (GPS) and digital maps of lane-level resolution with an image processing based lane detection system can improve its efficiency but make the overall system more complex and expensive. In this paper, a lane detection method is proposed which uses a standard GPS receiver without any lane-level resolution maps. The proposed algorithm determines the lateral shift of a vehicle by comparing the vehicle’s trajectory acquired by standard GPS receiver to the reference road direction. The reference road direction is extracted from a standard digital mapping database commonly available in any navigational device containing maps with only road-level information. Extensive field tests were performed to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed system. The field test results show that the proposed system can detect a true lane departure with an accuracy of almost 100%. Although no true lane departure was left undetected, occasional false lane departures were detected when the vehicle did not actually depart its lane. Furthermore, a modification in the proposed algorithm was also tested which has significant potential to reduce the frequency of false alarms.

Theadvancement of smartphones, global positioning system, and information technologies have a great influence on our travelling preferences and behaviour, dynamically shaping the transportation industry. In addition to providing convenience to the riders, it also has created some debate among the stakeholders, including the policy makers. This paper presents a quantitative study of Taxi service experience in Jordan. The aim of the study is to evaluate Jordanians’ experiences with yellow taxi services, assess their opinion toward advantages and disadvantages of Uber taxi services in Jordan and obtain opinions on the expected future of Uber taxi services.

Abstract Solar energy is getting a lot of traction due to the reduced cost and friendlier to the environment compared to fossil fuel. It is essential to inspect the PV farms to ensure that the correct capacity produced through early PV fault detection. We proposed a full autonomous solution, where the drone mission is programmed to follow a specific Global Positioning System (GPS) waypoints. The collected videos will undergo various image processing techniques to detect and track the PV panels. In this paper, we tried two different PV panel detection approaches. Both detections gave acceptable results. The first detection relies on various image processing techniques. The second detection relies on deep learning architecture called mask Region-based Convolution Neural Network (R-CNN). After that, we track the PV panels in every frame using camera data alone. The advantage of tracking the PV panels is to ensure unrepeated PV panel through tagging even if the drone flies over the panel again since each PV panel will be associated with a tag. The next step will be to test the PV panel’s proposed detection and tracking algorithm on a larger solar farm.

This work is about designing a smartwatch that is used mostly by fishermen. The watch provides the location of the user using the global positioning system (GPS) and a panic button that he can use in case of emergency. It can record the heart rate by using a heart rate sensor. The paper  works with a software that is used by the appropriate authorities; they record the information provided by the smartwatch. The third part of the paper is a mobile application used by the rescue team; the application shows the location of the fisherman. This paper aims to help fishermen in case of emergency cases, they can be saved by the rescue team. Based on the heart rate sensor and the panic button provided by the smartwatch, the appropriate authorities can know when a fisherman needs help and send the rescue team.

Today’s world is of Technology, technology is a kind of boon to enabling human lives comfortable as well as swift. The utilization of sensible phones has enormous applications. The IoT(Internet of Things) platform enables to attach physical modules with the net. In consequence, several applications can be carried out. This paper represents proposed system of one of them. There are parking problems in big urban and crowded cities because of unplanned parking, which becomes problem to find parking yards, more time-consuming to park a vehicle. Although ample quantity of analysis works on the event of good parking system exist in literature, but most of them have not addressed the problem of real-time detection of parking lot and automatically generation of hourly basis parking charges. This paper addresses proposed system to solve the problems and bring out better performance by using IOT, GPS (Global Positioning System) to locate nearest parking yard to reduce time consuming, camera for detection of the vehicle number in order to allow vehicle into parking lot, and mobile application to find vacant lot and for advance booking. Moreover, this system avails online payment link for parking charge for calculated amount of parked hours, sends notifications. These all interface with Raspberry pi. Eventually, this system reduces time-consuming and makes easy parking
