In this work it present the development of a prototype for the control of spaces in a parking lot, which through a web page monitors and displays in real time the available places, for this project it is used: an Arduino Uno card, proximity sensors Lm393, male / female, male / male cables, ESP8266 WIFI module and two LEDs; all these connected to each other by a communication link developed with Arduino code, allowing to transmit and send data in the Arduino serial. An Arduino serial communication link is made with java language code, acting as an intermediary for the insertion of information in the database. The web application was developed with the programming language PHP and HTML and was connected to the database hosted on the MySQL server, using as a Sublime Text code editor. Thus achieving on the web page the monitoring in real time of the available parking places. The results shown by the prototype indicate that it is probably feasible to implement this technology to make the parking lots smart.

In view of the application of database operation in the things networking, this paper introduces the principle, the working process, the key technology and the realization method of the database connection pool. For the database operation which used JAVA language to formate, we contrasted the accessing time between use connection pool and do not use connection pool. The results show that the appropriately use of the database connection pool technology can improve the real-time performance of the database operation in things networking greatly.

In the air-lines construction, the major project problems performance: the inclination angle of cable traction plate can’t remain stable; cable often jump or drop off pulley groove in stringing process. As the position of traction plate and pulley is beyond the view of workers, workers are unable to monitor their operational status in real time, which influences the efficiency of construction seriously. This paper presents a set of intelligent video surveillance system based on wireless network. The system can capture video and angle data, then these data is transferred to ground through the wireless network. Receiving terminal is designed based on C # and Java language respectively. Video and angle data can be displayed on PC and mobile phone. Practice has proven that this system is: high real-time, clear pictures, far transmission distance and easy to carry. It improves the efficiency of construction greatly.

Traditional control methods what existed operability and real-time issues; We proposed a solution based on Web Service technology to achieve remote control system, and PLC as the control object, we established feasible communication between PC and lower computer; Combined with JAVA language develop WEB page as the control system of the client and write serial communication, as well as published it online and remote controlled it by INTERNET system; Experiment shows that the remote control system improve the controllability of the equipment and condition monitoring in real time, which has a high significance and practical value.

This paper describes some recent results of our quiescent prominence spectrometry program at the Mees Solar Observatory on Haleakala. The observations were made with the 25 cm coronagraph/coudé spectrograph system using a silicon vidicon detector. This detector consists of 500 contiguous channels covering approximately 6 or 80 Å, depending on the grating used. The instrument is interfaced to the Observatory’s PDP 11/45 computer system, and has the important advantages of wide spectral response, linearity and signal-averaging with real-time display. Its principal drawback is the relatively small target size. For the present work, the aperture was about 3″ × 5″. Absolute intensity calibrations were made by measuring quiet regions near sun center.
