CAN bus was used as the data transferring channels in the two–level controllers, and the real-time,dexterity,expansibility and security for the Gluing control system based on CAN bus can be improved obviously.The system structure, principle and software design were introduced.The experiment shows that it is a reliable control system and it can meet the requirements of automatic gluing tasks.

For real-time embedded applications, several factors (time, cost, power) that are moving security considerations from a function-centric perspective into a system architecture (hardware/software) design issue. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) adopts Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) as the most widely used encryption algorithm in many security applications. The AES algorithm specifies 10, 12 and 14 rounds offering different levels of security. Although the number of rounds determines the strength of security, the power consumption issue has risen recently, especially in real-time embedded systems. In this article, the authors present real time implementation of the AES encryption on the compactRIO platform for a different number of AES rounds. The target hardware is NI cRIO-9022 embedded real-time controller from National Instruments (NI). The real time encryption processing has been verified successfully. The power consumption and encryption time experimental results are presented graphically for 10, 12 and 14 rounds of processing.

The underwater mining vehicle position and azimuth determining system employs the inertial integration to precisely track the mining vehicle, measure and solve numerical values of the mining vehicle’s speed to the true north and its coordinates in real time, and incorporates the odometer to continuously correct the error of the inertial navigation over time, which require the real-time record of the mining vehicle’s position data and graphing them to show. We adopt the VC++ software design to realize the control of the view displaying interface.

Multi-agent system architecture for coordination of the real-time control functions in complex industrial systems is presented. The problem which must be solved out is how efficiently to organize the interactions between tasks in order to satisfy the functionality and the time restriction of the system. In order to solve this problem, the treatment of the task interactions is separated from the tasks and is implemented by the proposed multi-agent system. A general three level multi-agent system is introduced to manage the interactions and schedule of tasks. A framework of building of the schedule of the tasks is also presented. Finally, the benefits of the proposed architecture are discussed.

The main working principle of DS1302 and programming sought are introduced on the software design. Finally, the system software interactive simulation was completed on the platform of Proteus.
