ABSTRACT The complete genome sequences of 12 isolates of the rare Salmonella enterica serovar Adjame were determined by combining Nanopore and Illumina sequence reads. Chromosome sizes ranged from 4,597,011 bp to 4,678,052 bp, and the GC content was 52.3%. A virulent plasmid of 87,433 bp was found in only one isolate.

Salmonella enterica serotype Lubbock emerged most likely from a Salmonella enterica serotype Mbandaka ancestor that acquired by recombination the fliC operon from Salmonella enterica serotype Montevideo. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of two S. Lubbock, one S. Montevideo, and one S. Mbandaka strain isolated from bovine lymph nodes.

We present here the complete genome sequences of three Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Muenchen strains, LG24, LG25, and LG26. All three strains were isolated from almond drupes grown in an orchard in San Joaquin County, California, in 2016. These genomic sequences are nonidentical and will contribute to our understanding of S. enterica genomics.

ABSTRACT Sustainable biofuel production from lignocellulosic materials requires efficient and complete use of all abundant sugars in the biomass, including xylose. Here, we report on the de novo genome assemblies of two strains of the xylose-fermenting yeast Candida intermedia: CBS 141442 and PYCC 4715.

Salmonella enterica is a major global foodborne pathogen that causes gastroenteritis and, in some cases, death. Salmonella serovar Anatum has been increasingly associated with foodborne salmonellosis outbreaks. In this report, we announce two complete genome sequences of Salmonella Anatum isolated from papaya fruit.

ABSTRACT Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica strains RM11060, serotype 6,8:d:−, and RM11065, serotype 6,8:−:e,n,z15, were isolated from environmental samples collected in central California in 2009. We report the complete genome sequences of these two strains. These genomic sequences are distinct and will provide additional data to our understanding of S. enterica genomics.

We report here 32 completed closed genome sequences of strains representing 30 serotypes of Salmonella. These genome sequences will provide useful references for understanding the genetic variation within Salmonella enterica serotypes, particularly as references to aid in comparative genomics studies, as well as providing information for improving in silico serotyping accuracy.

Non- enterica subspecies of Salmonella enterica are associated with cold-blood animals. We report the complete genomes of six S. enterica strains (one S. enterica subsp. arizonae strain, four S. enterica subsp. salamae strains, and one S. enterica subsp. diarizonae strain) isolated from Spanish poultry houses. This will increase our knowledge of these non- enterica subspecies.

ABSTRACT Salmonella enterica is a Gram-negative bacterium, recognized as one of the most important foodborne pathogens in the world. Bacteriophages represent a promising alternative to the biocontrol of Salmonella. Here, we report the isolation of five Salmonella bacteriophages, the sequencing of their full genomes, and initial genomic characterization.

ABSTRACT In 2013, a multistate outbreak of Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Saintpaul from cucumber caused 84 cases of salmonellosis in the United States. In this announcement, we report the complete genome sequences of three clinical Salmonella Saintpaul isolates associated with the 2013 outbreak.
