Campylobacter jejuni is a major foodborne pathogen that plays an important role in spreading drug resistance. We report the draft genome sequences of two multidrug-resistant C. jejuni isolates which contained similar mutations in the CmeR box. This will improve the understanding of C. jejuni antimicrobial resistance and genetic characteristics.

Salmonella enterica serovar Dublin, which can cause enteritis and systemic infections in humans, has been associated with antimicrobial resistance. Here, we report draft genome sequences of seven multidrug-resistant S. Dublin isolates from human samples. These sequences will contribute to an understanding of pathogenesis and resistance determinants in this serovar.

ABSTRACT Mycobacterium tuberculosis is known to cause pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. In Morocco, the spread of multidrug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis (TB) has become a major challenge. Here, we announce the draft genome sequences of two Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains, MTB1 and MTB2, isolated from patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Morocco, to describe variants associated with drug resistance.

ABSTRACT Campylobacter jejuni is the pathogen most commonly associated with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). The present work describes the draft genome sequences of 3 C. jejuni strains, BD39, BD67, and BD75, isolated from stool specimens of patients with C. jejuni-triggered GBS using Illumina technologies.

Acinetobacter species are important in the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), which threatens human and animal health worldwide. Here, we present the draft genome sequences of three Acinetobacter species strains (RF14B, RF15A, and RF15B) isolated from pig feces and the floor of a pig hospital pen in Ireland.

ABSTRACT Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MRSP) is a globally emergent multidrug-resistant pathogen of dogs associated with nosocomial transmission in dogs and with potential zoonotic impacts. Here, we report the draft whole-genome sequences of 12 hospital-associated MRSP strains and their resistance genotypes and phenotypes.

The development of multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii is of serious concern in the hospital setting. Here, we report draft genome sequences of 11 A. baumannii isolates that were isolated from a single patient over a 65-day period, during which time the isolates exhibited increased antimicrobial resistance.

ABSTRACT Salmonella enterica serotype Enteritidis is a foodborne pathogen of global concern, because it is frequently isolated from foods and patients. Draft genome sequences are reported here for 64 S. Enteritidis strains isolated from the intestines and spleens of mice caught live on chicken farms in the U.S. Northeast. The availability of these genomes provides baseline information on the genomic diversity of S. Enteritidis during the 1990s, when foodborne outbreaks traced to internal contamination of eggs were prevalent.
