Aiming at backward current situation of testing technology and fault diagnosis technology of wind power generation in China, a fault diagnosis method based on based on noise detection is put forward. Studied IEC 61400-11 noise measurement technology standard, this paper elaborates the noise detecting method, analyzes the feasibility and diagnostic steps of fault diagnosis, proposes fault signal extracting method based on wavelet analysis. According to analysis and simulation, it is shown that noise measurement is earlier than vibration detection, and the fault signal can be extracted effectively, so it has important value for engineering application.

The miter gates of Three Gorges Dam and Gezhou Dam open and close frequently under low speeds and heavy loading conditions. The moving componets, including hoist, door shaft, roof pivot and bottom pivot, work long-term and go wrong easily. The traditional periodic maintenance and fault overhaul are ineffective and may cause damage and waste. So the miter gate fault diagnosis methods based on vibration signal are put forward in this subject. With the No.1 ship lock maintenance of Gezhou Dam, the top pivots poor lubrication operating mode was simulated. The vibration signal of top hub reinforcement plate was collected before and after overhaul, then several signal processing and analysis techniques were selected to research the fault diagnosis methods. The results illustrate that it is feasible to achieve miter gate faults diagnosis based on vibration signal detection technology, which has some certain guiding significance on miter gate maintenance.

Gas insulated switchgear (GIS) will generate vibration during normal operation for the electromagnetic force. There will be generate abnormal vibration when the contacts are undesirable, the guide rod stressed unevenness. Therefore, it can be effective in fault diagnosis of this machineries through the vibration test of GIS in field. The vibration detection method of GIS equipment in field is studied in this paper, the composition of the vibration detection system is described. The field test has been done using vibration detection system and the test results show that through the vibration signal detected from the GIS equipment, the vibration characteristics of GIS can be clarified and make the fault diagnosis effectively.

Because fault characteristics are often difficult to extract from a strong noise background, it is essential for mechanical fault diagnosis to extract a weak characteristic signal with a very small signal-to-noise ratio from a noisy interference. Therefore, this paper proposes a new method for diagnosing weak faults in asymmetric potential stochastic resonance. Compared with the existing methods, the asymmetric potential stochastic resonance method not only has characteristics common to the symmetric potential stochastic resonance, but can also change the inclination of the barrier and slope of the wall to obtain a better model structure. The proposed method solves the local adjustment problem of the existing method from the perspective of potential structure and optimizes the asymmetric system shape to better target frequency detection during much interference from noise. After simulation, a bearing failure test, and rolling mill gearbox bearing failure experiments, we concluded that the asymmetric potential stochastic resonance detection technology can effectively identify faults. Compared with the symmetric potential stochastic resonance method, the proposed method has better recognition.

Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) has been widely used in recent years due to their advantages of small floor area, high reliability and good safety. It has arised a series of problems. At present, researchers at home and abroad have done more in-depth research on insulation fault, but research on mechanical fault is insufficient. Firstly, this paper reviews the research status of mechanical fault detection technology in GIS at home and abroad. Secondly, the aspect of the principles of mechanical fault in GIS, fault judgment and location technology, and early fault prediction and status evaluation in GIS were summarized. Finally, the paper prospected the future research direction on this basis.
