We face a new software crisis. In 1968, computer scientists learned that developing robust software requires skills, methods, and tools. Today, software and hardware engineers realize that developing a robust Internet of Things (IoT) also pushes the states of their art and practice. Recent news illustrate the many problems faced by IoT: from lack of interoperability to broken updates to massive security attacks. In this context, the 3rd International Workshop on Software Engineering Research and Practices for the Internet of Things (SERP4IoT) aims to provide a highly interactive forum for researchers and practitioners to address the challenges of, nd solutions for, and share experiences with the development, release, and testing of robust software for IoT systems.

As well as any paradigm shift, the Internet of Things (IoT) brings up challenges related to several areas of research, including Software Engineering at different stages of development. This work proposes the ScenarIoT approach aiming to support the specification of scenarios when developing software systems on the IoT background. This approach is grounded on Interaction Arrangements - designed by applying an evidence-based approach – which represents recurrent flows of interaction between abstract elements of the IoT domain. These results presented can contribute to the progress of research on IoT from the lens of the Software Engineering research field.

Over the previous decade, significant research has been conducted in the field of healthcare services and their technological advancement. To be more precise, the Internet of Things (IoT) has demonstrated potential for connecting numerous medical devices, sensors, and healthcare professionals in order to deliver high-quality medical services in remote locations. This has resulted in an increase in patient safety, a decrease in healthcare expenses, an increase in the healthcare services’ accessibility, and an increase in the industry’s healthcare operational efficiency. This paper provides an overview of the possible healthcare uses of Internet of Things (IoT)-based technologies. The evolution of the HIoT application has been discussed in this article in terms of enabling technology, services of healthcare, and applications for resolving different healthcare challenges. Additionally, effort difficulties and drawbacks with the HIoT system are explored. In summary, this study provides a complete source of information on the many applications of HIoT together the purpose is to help future academics who are interested in working in the field and making advances gain knowledge into the issue.

The technology of Quantum Green Computing has been discussed in this paper. It also discusses the need of the many implementation techniques and approaches in relation with Fog-Cloud Computing. Moreover, we would like to introduce the latest algorithms like Stack Algorithm, Address Algorithm and many others which will help in the analysis of Green-Quantum Computing Technology in the modern society and would create a technological revolution. With the Internet of Things rising in the modern world time, new security issues have also been developed. So, our proposed Model the Fog-Things Model will help us to determine the security issues and indeed secure the entire IoT network.

The Internet of Things is another information technology revolution and industrial wave after computer, Internet and mobile communication. It is becoming a key foundation and an important engine for the green, intelligent and sustainable development of economic society. The new networked intelligent production mode characterized by the integration innovation of the Internet of Things is shaping the core competitiveness of the future manufacturing industry. The application of sensor network data positioning and monitoring technology based on the Internet of Things in industry, power and other industries is a hot field for the development of the Internet of Things. Sensor network processing and industrial applications are becoming increasingly complex, and new features have appeared in the sensor network scale and infrastructure in these fields. Therefore, the Internet of Things perception data processing has become a research hotspot in the deep integration process between industry and the Internet of Things. This paper deeply analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of sensor network perception data under the new trend of the Internet of Things as well as the research on location monitoring technology, and makes in-depth exploration from the release and location monitoring of sensor network perception data of the Internet of Things. Sensor network technology integrated sensor technology, micro-electromechanical system technology, wireless communication technology, embedded computing technology and distributed information processing technology in one, with easy layout, easy control, low power consumption, flexible communication, low cost and other characteristics. Therefore, based on the release and location monitoring technologies of sensor network data based on the Internet of Things in different applications, this paper studies the corresponding networking technologies, energy management, data management and fusion methods. Standardization system in wireless sensor network low cost, and convenient data management needs, design the iot oriented middleware, and develops the software and hardware system, the application demonstration, the results show that the design of wireless sensor network based on iot data monitoring and positioning technology is better meet the application requirements, fine convenient integration of software and hardware, and standardized requirements and suitable for promotion.

Pervasive computing has been greatly supported by the internet of things. The use of internet of things has created the environment that helps in the management of the different modules that are the part of the complete system, which can work effectively without the interference with the other components of the system. The cloud environment with the internet of things can help in getting the greater extend of data sharing. Little attention has been provided to the security of the various stakeholders that are the part of the system. IoT cloud integration involved privacy, security, and personal safety risk of the stakeholders. Not only are these types of security attacks possible, but there is also the possibility of attack on the IoT components like hardware manipulation to disrupt the services. As we are on the network, all the communication attacks of network are also possible. This chapter will cover common aspects of regarding the cloud and internet of things (IOT) with 5G networks.
