The ergonomic reliability assessment of interface design scheme for the passenger car is very practical to enhance driving safety performance. In addition, it can significantly reduce development costs and the development cycle of the new car. From the perspective of guiding the improvement of the central console interactive interface design of the passenger car, the most effective method to build the ergonomic reliability assessment method of the interactive interface is to evaluate and predict the human reliability objectively and subjectively and to design, feedback, and guide the design process of the ergonomic interface for the passenger car. Firstly, the questionnaire survey and the classification of ergonomic reliability analysis factors are analyzed to be put forward based on predecessors; the judgment layer factors and index layer factors of human-machine interaction interface in automobile central console are put forward. Secondly, entropy weight method (EWM) and multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) were used for objective evaluation and subjective evaluation, respectively. Thirdly, the interaction interfaces in central consoles of three different passenger cars are taken as examples; objective simulated experimental test based on entropy weight method and subjective scoring evaluation based on MADM were conducted, respectively. Besides, the objective evaluation and subjective evaluation are coupled by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Finally, to verify the effectiveness and rationality of the ergonomic reliability assessment method, human cognitive reliability experiments are made based on the data acquisition from the eye-tracking experiments.

The debris flow is one of the geological hazards; its occurrence is complex, fuzzy, and random. And it is affected by many indices; a new multi-index assessment method is proposed to analyze the risk level of debris flow based on the entropy weight-normal cloud model in Banshanmen gully. The index weight is calculated by using the entropy weight method. Then, the certainty degree of each index belonging to the corresponding cloud is obtained by using the cloud model. The final risk level of debris flow is determined according to the synthetic certainty degree. The conclusions are drawn that the method is feasible and accurate rate of risk estimation for debris flow is very high, so a new method and thoughts for the risk assessment of debris flow can be provided in the future.

The comprehensive evaluation of AC/DC hybrid microgrid planning can provide reference for the planning of AC/DC hybrid microgrids. This is conducive to the realization of reasonable and effective microgrid planning. Aiming at comprehensive evaluation of AC/DC hybrid microgrids, this paper establishes an evaluation index system for planning of AC/DC hybrid microgrids. This paper combines the subjective evaluation method with the objective evaluation method, and proposes a comprehensive evaluation method of AC/DC hybrid microgrid planning based on analytic hierarchy process and the entropy weight method. Finally, the validity and rationality of the evaluation method are verified by an example.

The synthetic risk assessment method incorporating the severity and the possibility is used to identify the catastrophic event sequences in power system. The weight setting of each severity index is determined by the proposed entropy weight method. Comparing with traditional methods, the entropy weight method can determine the weight coefficients objectively. The simulation results for the WSCC-9 buses system have proved the validity of the proposed method. This method can be used in the practice power system.

In order to choose the optimal construction scheme in the coal mine construction project, this paper establishes evaluation indexes and applies entropy weight method to determine the objective weight of evaluation index based on the expert scoring so that the evaluation results are more consistent with the actual situation. This method solves the drawbacks that the evaluation indexes depend on the subjective assumptions too much and provide an effective method for choosing the optimal bid scheme of the coal mine construction.

In recent years, various large- and medium-sized shopping malls have been essential components of each city with the speed-up of China’s urbanization process and the improvement of residents’ living standard. A method for evaluating fire risk in shopping malls based on quantified safety checklist and structure entropy weight method was proposed according to related literatures as well as laws and regulations by analyzing the characteristics of fires occurring in shopping malls in recent years. At first, the factors influencing the fire risk in shopping malls were determined by carrying out on-site survey and visiting related organizations to construct an evaluation index system for fires occurring in shopping malls; afterwards, a quantified safety checklist composed of four parts (i.e. safety grade, grade description, scoring criterion and index quantification) was established based on related laws and regulations; subsequently, index weights were determined by utilizing structure entropy weight method, thus putting forward a method for assessing fire risk in shopping malls based on quantified safety checklist and structure entropy weight method. Eventually, the applicability of the evaluation method was validated exampled by Wal-Mart. The research result provides a theoretical basis for further improvement of the theoretical system for fire risk evaluation in shopping malls, and also exerts practical and guidance significance on timeous and effective early warning as well as prevention and control of building fires.
