This research is aimed at exploring the influencing factors of users’ behavioral intention toward the Nike Training Club (NTC) app, using the decomposed theory of planned behavior as the main research framework. In this study, users of the NTC app were the research objects. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed on the Internet by the purposive sampling method. After excluding invalid questionnaires, a total of 280 copies were obtained. The effective questionnaire recovery rate was 93.33%. All data were verified by descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the NTC app users were mostly female, aged between 19 and 25 years, were students, had a monthly income below 20,000, and exercised one to two times a week. Second, the application of the decomposed theory of planned behavior found the following: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use had positive effects on attitude; interpersonal influence and electronic word of mouth had a positive influence on subjective norms; self-efficacy and technology facilitation had positive effects on perceptual behavior control; and attitude, subjective norms, and perceptual behavior control all had a positive impact on behavioral intention. The NTC app users thought that the program interface was easy to use and that the app could help them effectively achieve the effect of exercise and fitness, which increased the benefits of continuously using the program.

The purpose of this article is to investigate the factors influencing the intention to use the Internet to book tourism products online in Tunisian context. To this end, the authors selected the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior (DTPB) to help account for the intention to book online. The authors conduct an online survey. Data was obtained from 158 questionnaires and analyzed through regression. The study demonstrated the importance of causal relationships between predictor variables and the dependent variable, namely the intention to book online. A novel result, perceived usefulness does not admit a positive impact on the attitude towards online booking. Thus, the study has confirmed the explanatory power of the DTPB model in accounting for consumers' behavioral intention in the context of e-tourism.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of attitudes, subjective norms and behavioral control that are felt partially and simultaneously on student interest in entrepreneurship. The benefit of this research is seeing the Theory of Planned Behavior Application to predict entrepreneurial students' interests and for other researchers, it is expected to be a reference and reference for conducting further research on the Theory of Planned Behavior Approach to find out entrepreneurial interests. The number of samples was 96 respondents, the method of data collection through questionnaires and documentation and analytical techniques used by applying the Theory of Planned Behavior model. The results of this study stated that attitude, subjective norms and behavioral control had a positive and partially significant effect on the interests of entrepreneurship in economics students. Simultaneously also showed that attitudes, subjective norms (subjective norms) and behavioral control (Percaived Behavior Control) have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest in students of the faculty of economics. The conclusions in this study indicate that student attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have positive or partially simultaneous positive effects on entrepreneurial interest. Judging from the calculations it is known that the weights W1, W2 and W3 have positive values, which means that there is a positive influence on the Attitude, Subjective Norms, Trust Behavior Control variables on entrepreneurial interest, but the more dominant influence on entrepreneurial interest in students is the Attitude variable with position the value of attitude 23.32 is located between the numbers +2 and +3. Greater than subjective norm variables and perceived behavioral control. Suggestions that can be given to the managers of the Faculty of Economics, St. Thomas Catholic University of North Sumatra should increase the number of SKS Entrepreneurship courses and conduct various training to create products, how to determine the cost of products, how to sell / market products, how to promote products and distribute them to increase student insights so that the interest in entrepreneurship will form in his mind. With this, students who have graduated are not solely as job seekers but as field creators

Background: Hypertension is an important health problem and one of the most important causes of disability and mortality. Objective This study aims to evaluate the effect of an educational program based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) on self-care behaviors in hypertensive patients. Materials and Methods: This is a clinical trial conducted on 180 patients with hypertension referred to health centers in Rasht, Iran in 2014. They were divided into two intervention (n=75) and control (n=75) groups. Data collection tools included a demographic form, the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire, the Food Frequency Questionnaire, and a TPB questionnaire with five constructs including attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, and behavioral intention related to hypertension. Collected data were analyzed in SPSS v. 18 software using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Before intervention, two groups were similar in terms of the scores TPB constructs. After intervention, the mean scores of attitude changed from 4.51 to 4.58; mean scores of subjective norms changed from 4.16 to 4.19; mean scores of perceived behavior control changed from 3.64 to 4.23; and mean scores of behavioral intention changed from 3.88 to 4.24. These differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). No difference was observed in the control group. Conclusion: An educational program based on TPB can promote the self-care behaviors among hypertensive patients

This research explores the influencing factors of learning satisfaction in blended learning. Three dimensions are proposed: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and learning motivation. It studied how these variables affect students’ learning satisfaction. The research hypotheses are: (1) Perceived ease of use positively affects perceived usefulness; (2) Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use will have a positive effect on learning motivation; (3) Learning motivation positively affects learning satisfaction; (4) Perceived usefulness has a positive intermediary effect on the relationship between perceived ease of use and learning motivation. Participants included 173 freshmen who took the first-year interactive game design course at Ling Tung University in Taichung, Taiwan. The questionnaire survey method is applied in this research to analyze the relationship between the variables and verify the hypothesis based on the collected 173 valid questionnaires. The partial least square method structural equation model (PLS-SEM) is used to carry out structural equation modeling to study the relationship between latent variables. It explains that the perceived ease of use affects the perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive impact on learning motivation. Learning motivation has a positive impact on learning satisfaction. Perceived usefulness as an intermediary factor of perceived ease of use has an indirect impact on learning motivation. The contribution of this research is to provide empirical evidence and explain what factors may affect learning satisfaction. Some other related factors that may affect learning satisfaction should be taken as the factors that teachers should pay attention to when implementing blended learning.

Urban trees could provide a variety of ecosystem services. However, they require conservation to sustain a healthy and consistent provision of services. This study applies an extended theory of planned behavior (ETPB) to understand residents’ pay intention for conserving urban trees. In order to explore the impact of the public perception of urban trees, two constructs such as perceived usefulness and perceived tree benefits have been added to the TPB model. This study conducted a questionnaire survey on Taipei city residents and received 364 valid responses. The partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used for the analysis of the model. The results show that residents’ perceived usefulness and perceived tree benefits of urban trees have a significantly positive impact on public attitude toward protecting urban trees. Individuals’ intention to pay towards conservation of urban trees is, on the other hand, affected by subjective norm, attitude, perceived behavioral control, and perceived usefulness. Thus, with education and promotion of tree usefulness and benefits of ecosystem services, it is helpful to improve residents’ attitudes regarding the protection of urban trees and increase their intention to pay for urban tree conservation.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Theory of Planned Behavior and knowledge of the intention to invest in the assembly of the Taklim Muhammadiyah Sub-District of Sukomanunggal Surabaya. Primary data retrieval in this study used a questionnaire with a sample of 40 taklim assemblies in Sukomanunggal sub-district, Surabaya. The characteristics of the sample in this study were the pilgrims who attended the recitation in the assembly of taklim Muhammadiyah, Sukomanunggal, Surabaya. The sampling technique is Non-Probability Sampling and Simple Random Sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The endogenous variable in this study is the intention to invest, while the exogenous variable used is part of the Theory of Planned Behavior which consists of attitudes, subjective norms, and Perceived Behavior Control and Knowledge. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously and partially attitudes, subjective norms, Perceived Behavior Control, and knowledge have a significant effect on the intention to invest in the assembly of taklim members of Muhammadiyah, Sukomanunggal District, Surabaya. Suggestions for further research to add to the scope of research subjects so that more general information can be obtained about related research, and using other variables outside of this research variable because it should be suspected that there are still several other factors that can influence intention to invest. Keywords: Theory Of Planned Behaviour, Knowledge, Infaq, Intention

Purpose This paper aims to examine travelers` behavioral intention of traveling in the period of coronavirus by employing the theory of planned behavior. The framework incorporates attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and a very crucial construct, i.e. perceived risk, as per the current critical scenario of COVID-19. Design/methodology/approach Data was collected using a survey instrument on the internet by posting the questionnaire link over social network web pages of online traveling websites. The data was analyzed using structural equations modeling with AMOS 22.0 and SPSS software, and the proposed hypotheses were statistically tested. The sample under consideration constitutes 417 responses. Findings Empirical findings suggest that attitude, perceived behavioral control and perceived risk are significant for predicting behavioral intention while subjective norms do not. And these variables explained about 35 percent of the variance in behavioral intention of traveling in the period of coronavirus. Research limitations/implications This study can benefit travelers, tourism and hospitality industry, governments, aviation industry and other relevant organizations as this paper offers the latest updates and essential information regarding traveler`s intention of traveling in the period of coronavirus. The study mainly focuses on India, so the generalizations of results to other countries are unwanted. Originality/value The primary value of this paper is that it tested the theory of planned behavior by incorporating perceived risk in the context of COVID-19. To the best of authors’ knowledge, in Indian context, there is no study which has tested the TPB by adding perceived risk in explaining the Indian citizens’ behavioral intention of traveling in the period of Coronavirus.

The Theory of Planned Behavior is widely used to predict human behaviors in many disciplines. According to the Theory of Planned Behavior, Attitude towards the target behavior, Subjective Norms about engaging in the behavior and Perceived Behavior Control influence intention. In addition, an individual's display of a certain behavior is determined by his or her intent to perform that behavior. This chapter describes the origin and history of the Theory of Planned Behavior, its purpose, its limitations and its applications in order to examine acceptance, adoption, use, and continuance of use of Information Systems and services.
