With the rapid development of the computer computing, the embedded system has been widely used in industrial control, home appliances, mobile communications and other industries. This paper mainly studies the data acquisition and processing of embedded data. First, it introduces the integrated development environment of ARM, and analyzes the operation process of LINUX on ARM. Then, it studies the data processing of the embedded system based on the principles of embedded system and presents the butterfly algorithm according to discrete Fourier transform (DFT) Principle, which is realized on the basis of S3C2410X microprocessor. Finally, the decimation-in-time radix-2 FFT computation block diagram is established, which lays a foundation for the future programming.

Background: In order to better realize the real-time on-line monitoring of the working state of the coal mill and intellectualize the status of the equipment of the coal mill, the intelligent embedded system of the coal mill based on DSP is studied. Methods: Firstly, the working requirement of coal mill and the task of data acquisition system are briefly introduced, and the requirement of overall embedded system design is put forward. Then, the structure design is carried out from hardware and software, and the embedded system design including digital signal processing, and data acquisition is completed. All patents related to intelligent embedded data acquisition and storage system have been detailed exhaustively. Results: After that, the function test of the actual coal mill embedded system is carried out, which proves the practicability and reliability of the designed embedded system for coal mill and based on DSP. Conclusion: The embedded system improves the automation level of coal mill, and is of great significance to the on-line monitoring and research of large-scale machinery and equipment in the future.

In the early day of environment monitoring, the measurement is generally done through manual measurement from simple and analog instrument which suffer from the drawbacks like poor accuracy, need of human intervention, associated parallax errors and durability. The rapid development in electronic technology has made reliable integration of smart electronic sensors, processor, and communication device capable of monitoring environmental parameters more favorably. A system for ambient air condition monitoring has been developed as described in this paper. It is based on the embedded system, smart electronic sensor, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components, and the terminal monitor by the Graphical User Interface (GUI).

In this paper, an open source web service software—gSOAP which is transplanted to the embedded Linux is proposed. Web service is not only an application entity for building applications, but also a distributed applications platform which runs operations interoperably. It can also execute all kinds of operating systems (OS) which support HTTP protocol. With the rapid development of the embedded system, lots of open-source software is transplanted to the embedded platform by embedded operating systems.

With the rapid development of computer technology, embedded system is more and more widely used. The embedded hardware system was designed by taking Samsung ARM7TDMI CPU as the core. And a small uClinux system was embedded into this hardware system. Various kinds of applications in uClinux system can be developed. This thesis introduced one of those applications, which is embedded web server and its protocol-HTTP. In this thesis, the embedded system based on ARM had been developed. Our embedded system has the characters of low cost and high efficiency. It is at large applicated on business forwardly.

This paper analyzes the Flash Memory interface, SDRAM interface, Ethernet interface and Serial-port expansion circuit. The Embedded Multi-channel Data Acquisition System is designed by MCF5272 microprocessor. The main control system of MCF5272 includes SDRAM, Flash and BDM interface and so on. At the software design, we main introduce the compile and develop of bootload and the compiler and debugging environment of μClinux build. On this base, the general methods and points of the embedded system hardware design were summarized.

In this chapter, discussions about the applications based on LabVIEW with a typical open embedded system such as Arduino. Instead of the applications with use of National Instrument hardware, an user can build an low-cost microcontroller-based system which user interface and procedure designed in LabVIEW. Recently, Arduino-based applications are one of interested developments, the embedded system is designed with the low-cost microcontroller of ATMEGA2560 and easy to program with IDE (Interface Development Environment). However, the difficulties of Arduino-based applications are user interface design while LabVIEW is an excellent utilities for the panel designs. The limitation of some LabVIEW applications is the requirements from combination with high performance NI hardwares. Under interactions between LabVIEW and IDE library designed by Arduino, the low-cost system can be easily built for experiments or prototype designs.

The Data-Acquisition systems with remote accessibility are greatly demanded in industry and consumer applications. In this paper, a data-acquisition system which can save lives and property, based on GSM communication, accommodating a wide range of electronic devices is presented. The system has the special ability to automatically quench fire by spraying water during fire accidents, simultaneously informing the local fire station and the responsible persons as well, saving loss of life and property. Also the varying status can be instantaneously recorded and uploaded in internet, for failure analysis. By using a GPS receiver it is possible to acquire and display the images of the locations where there are fire accidents by decoding the text SMS data, which helps in continuously tracking the fire accident location using google maps, helping the fire engine to reach instantly. Also the cost-effectiveness of the overall system is proved. The embedded board acts as the main controller of this system which has a SIM card placed in it and thus communicates using GSM, making it accessible from anywhere in the world, providing a faster two-way data transfer between the Embedded system and the client, in real-time.

The design of automatic tri-axial add sample system is mainly used in industrial control. We design this system for solving existence in traditional control system problems. In our system we use based on S3C2440 embedded system. Through SDK which derived from the custom Windows CE Embedded System, we using integrated development environment vs2005 to develop applications program. The advantage of this application program is mainly embodied in the use of LCD touch screen to achieve human-computer interface. Through this interface can control the entire system work so that many people can be freed from the tedious labor, greatly improving work efficiency. By test this system in a practical way show that our design system has a high degree of automation, cost-effective and portable, real-time and other characteristics.
