The aim of the research project was to gain an in-depth understanding of how children, coaches, and parents in youth soccer perceive parental support. In a preliminary study, a questionnaire was developed to assess satisfaction with parental support and sideline behavior in soccer. The multisection questionnaire was adapted to all three parties of interest—children, parents, and coaches—and administered to 260 parents, 196 coaches, and 111 male players aged 12–14 years across different clubs to identify factors influencing satisfaction with parental behavior across all three groups. Factor analysis led to a revised version of the questionnaire, emphasizing the importance of emotional support. The revised questionnaire was implemented in two consecutive field studies. Samples were drawn from an amateur youth soccer setting (Study 2, N = 316, players aged 8–13 years) and a professional youth academy (Study 3, N = 209, players aged 9–16 years). Overall, results indicate children and parents were highly satisfied with parental support and sideline behavior but coaches’ satisfaction differed significantly. The discussion therefore includes all three perspectives and provides recommendations on how to improve the coach–parent relationship and professional engagement with parents.

In recent years, transportation planning has devoted new attention to the goal of increasing the nonmotorized trips of children and adults, both as a means of increasing physical activity and as a means of reducing motorized trips. For children, much discussion has focused on the journey to school, with little attention to nonschool trips. In this study, patterns of travel of both children and their parents to youth soccer games in Davis, California, are examined. The study aims to identify factors influencing mode choice among children and parents to soccer games for the Davis American Youth Soccer Organization. Data come from a survey of 1,084 parents accompanying their children to Saturday soccer games. Over three-quarters of players and their parents drove to the game on the day of the survey, with fewer than 20% biking. Multivariate models show that distance to games is a significant deterrent to bicycling or walking to them, while players who bike to school and whose parents regularly bicycle are significantly more likely to bicycle to games.

HPV infections and cervical precancers (abnormal cells on the cervix that can lead to cancer) have dropped significantly since HPV vaccine has been in use. HPV vaccination coverage is still low in Indonesia. Parents are the main responsibility and obligation in guaranteeing the fulfillment of the child's basic rights to get a vaccination. The purpose of this study was to determine the related factors (attitudes, beliefs, parental support) with the willingness to participate in HPV vaccination among adolescent girls. This type of the study was analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Macanan, Ngemplak and SMPN 1 Berbah, Sleman in May-July 2019. The sample was 127 adolescent girl and their parents selected by accidental sampling. The instrument used questionnaire and already undergone validity test. The bivariate analysis used chi square test (instrument and emotional support, parental trust) and fisher exact test (information support and attitude). The results showed 92.9% of parents did not provide information support, 85% did not provide instrument support, 75.6% provided emotional support to their daughters related to vaccination. Factors related to the willingness of vaccinations were instrument support (p-value = 0.048). The factor that was considered by most parents to allow their children to be vaccinated was vaccine safety (81.1%). Conclusion: There was a correlation between parental instrument support and HPV vaccination willingness of adolescent girls.

Research often focuses on exchanges of help between mature adult children and ageing parents, but not between young adults and parents. As transitions to adulthood become more complex, and mid-life is increasingly associated with competing roles, this article examines factors influencing the likelihood that a mid-life parent continues to support an adult child who has left home. Empirical analysis uses data from New Zealand's 1997 `Transactions in the Mid-life Family' survey. Parents continue to support their child, but the factors influencing the flow of help vary by type of help. A child's, but not a parent's age, and the gender of both, have a significant influence on the provision of help, and although infrequent contact and long distances make exchanges more difficult, they do not completely inhibit them.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the influencing factors of e-banking practices in Sri Lanka. A questionnaire with seven-point Likert scale is applied to 388 usable responses. The study was exploratory in nature and employed factor analysis to identify the important factors of e-banking practices. Results indicate that mainly four factors are significant with respect to the e-banking practices. Privacy & convenience, content & website layout, speed of delivery, and accessibility are the critical factors influencing the e-banking practices. In addition, factors extracted from the analysis accounted for 53.704% of the total variance. This study expected to provide a unique model in the realm of e-banking.

Although the large body of literature suggests the importance of fair compensation, the understanding of the nature of remuneration justice remains limited. The paper fills the gap by combining the three streams in the research: diversified definitions of justice in management sciences, philosophy and ethics, theory of organizational justice and research on employee engagement. Based on theoretical assumptions, a remuneration justice as-sessment model was developed. The evaluation of the remuneration fairness depends on three dimensions: perception of the features of the remuneration system, employees’ convictions regarding the legitimacy of pay differentiation and work needs. The hypothe-sised model was tested on a representative sample of 1,067 working Poles. This research has used SEM-PLS approach including exploratory factor analysis. The find-ings carry theoretical implications, since they extend the research and refine the essence of remuneration justice. From a practical perspective, the relationship between the three predictors – system, beliefs and needs – provide a proof on how remuneration justice is composed and how it could be developed.
