Abstract. To improve the automation degree in special working environment which contains explosive gas. We develop a new type of temperature control hydraulic sensor basically on theory and lots of experiments. As the temperature reaches about 85°C,the motion part of the inductor will stretch to a certain length, and then it will push the adjusting rod. Simultaneously,the adjusting rod will overcome the elastic force of the spring and compel the spool valve to deform, and finally the control valve port will be open, it allows the control oil of the hydraulic system to pass. At last it reaches our destination that we can make the control of hydraulic circuit be realized.

The rapid implementation of information technologies into all strata of the civil society activities has already significantly modified lives of every citizen, including production processes. The usual practice is using electronic safety devices in the technical units, including hoisting cranes. The consumer market offers remote control systems for equipment; continuous video surveillance over workflows is widely employed. Unmanned productions and unmanned technologies are being implemented, which is especially relevant at operation of potentially harmful and hazardous units. However, for a human actively participating in workflows, control and maintenance of technical devices, his/her safety during fulfillment of working functions is still a matter of great importance. In Russia, the requirements to production employees safety are determined by legislative and regulatory documents in the sphere of labor protection. Special rules of industrial safety are applied to hazardous production facilities. An important aspect of slinger protection against hazardous and harmful factors of production during operation of a hoisting crane as well as observing production discipline is using personal protection equipment and special working clothes. The constant monitoring of safety requirements in order to ensure their implementation in the real-time mode via the RFID-tags integrated into the elements of personal protection equipment and special working clothes is substantiated. The information on slinger location and availability of the required protection equipment within the hazardous zone of hoisting crane operation received to a mobile device of a person responsible for safe operation enables control of the situation, prevention of adverse events and minimization of risk of injury.


Many peoples like to have dogs or cats at home. They buy one or more animals (for example, cats, dogs, squirrels, rabbits and even tigers). It demands to apply many efforts to keep such animals in good conditions into the flat: to feed, to bring up, to train, to take a walk (not less than twice a day) and so forth. Sometimes, unfortunately, it’s very different to make all kinds of these works especially if the man has the declining years. In this case now and then it is rather difficult to take a walk. There are, for examples, the next reasons: it is raining now; too cold weather or/and strong wind; age; laziness; illness; tiredness; have no time enough because you are busy and so on. About how to get over these problems there is the description in this article. The gist of our novelty is connected with the special working principles (as a cage for a dog) and some important information about our behavior both at home and with the domestic animals (dogs).

The new rules for seismic piping design in Section III that were developed and included in the requirements in 1994 Addenda of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (B&PV Code) generated considerable discussion within the industry and from the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, (USNRC). The USNRC initiated a review of the results of the previous EPRI/NRC experimental program and the Japanese industry started its own experimental program. To accommodate and address developments resulting from these efforts, the ASME, B&PV Code established a Special Working Group (SWG) to continue the review and study of the questions and information generated. This paper reports on the efforts of this SWG which resulted in refinements of the revised rules. These refinements have been accepted for inclusion in Section III of the ASME, B&PV Code.

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, being the Supervising Office of Insurance in Finland, has established a special working group to investigate the problems involved with the solvency of insurers. A report will be compiled in a near future. The capacity of risk carriers is one of the problems dealt with, and it will be preliminarily reviewed in this paper.The problem was treated by the working group parallelly by means of1. an empirical approach observing actual fluctuations in underwriting gains of insurers, and2. a theoretical approach, constructing a stochastic-dynamic model and studying its behaviour, especially its sensitivity to numerous background factors.First the methods of investigation are described and their application is then demonstrated using some numerical data. Because a comprehensive report will be published by the working group separately, only the main schedule is given. For the same reason the consideration is limited here to stochastic risks, omitting the fact that the solvency of an insurer is also jeopardized by numerous “non-stochastic” risks such as failure in investments, political interference of the authorities, mismanagement of the company, or misappropriation of its property.

The campaign against the illegal mahogany trade from the Amazon has increased the need for special working links between NGOs based in Brazil and those located in the Northern hemisphere, particularly Britain, since the UK is regarded as one of the major importers of that particular timber. The article discusses the origins, development and different strategies of the mahogany campaign -the major transnational campaign for the Amazon rainforest in the 1990s- as well as the reactions from the timber trade and the Brazilian government. Considering the interface of social justice and forest issues, the analysis presents the ways in which the Amazon is understood and projected into the global sphere, and how such a global perspective -currently dominated by efforts towards timber certification through the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)- may render a more complex local reality invisible.

Over the last few decades, Cluster-Based Wireless Sensor Networks (CBWSNs) have played a crucial role in handling various challenges (load balancing, routing, network lifetime, etc.) of large scale Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). However, the security becomes a big problem for CBWSNs, especially when nodes in the cluster selfishly behave, e.g., not forwarding other nodes’ data, to save their limited resources. This may make the cluster obsolete, even destroying the network. Thus, a way to guarantee the secure and consistent clusters is needed for proper working of CBWSNs. We showed that the selfishness attack, i.e., passive attack or insider attack, in CBWSNs can cause severe performance disaster, when particularly a cluster head node becomes selfish. In order to prevent this situation, this paper proposes a security framework that involves a novel clustering technique as well as a reputation system at nodes for controlling selfishness, making them cooperative and honest. The novelty of the clustering comes from the existence of inspector node (IN) to monitor the cluster head (CH) and its special working style. The experimental results showed that the proposed security framework can control the selfishness and improve the security of the clusters.

The moving beam of large forging hydraulic press is taken as a research object. A mathematic model of moving beam’s six freedom degrees attitude is established. According to the mechanical feature and special working conditions of large forging hydraulic press, a non-contacted method for moving beam attitude measuring which based on machine vision is proposed. The basic principle and composition of the system are introduced. The system is applied in 300MN large forging hydraulic press, and large amounts of monitoring data are collected which confirm that the measuring method is effective. The research result is helpful for the safety operation and maintenance of large forging hydraulic press.

As a special lifting device, the lifting pole is widely used in construction of transmission line powers. Due to the special working environment, a new-type lifting pole made of carbon-fiber reinforced resin matrix composites is designed to facilitate transportation and usage. It is shown by comparison of material properties that new materials can greatly reduce structural self-weight on the condition of ensuring mechanical properties. In order to ensure the equipment is used safely and reliably, this paper carries out mechanical calculation and ANSYS finite element analysis by setting up a mechanical model, and the results show that the design is reasonable and accords with national relevant specifications.
