This paper is based on the national key R&D project of China during the 13th Five-Year Plan—“Research On The Construction Technology System of Green Livable Rural Residential Buildings” (2018YFD1100205). Based on the quantitative analysis and systematic sorting of the research journals on sustainable rural residential construction, this paper summarizes the research progress and development trend of sustainable rural residential construction, analyzes the basic characteristics and common problems of rural residential construction in China at present, and proposes a sustainable construction strategy and research system according to local conditions.

<p>Sustainable construction can be promoted by producing construction materials with recycled waste. This study aims to address the issue of recycling plastic wastes and providing a means of livelihood in a relocation site of typhoon victims and urban settlers in Metro Manila by exploring the production of quality concrete hollow blocks (CHB) mixed with waste plastic wastes. In the study, the strength properties of concrete with various types of plastic wastes (PW) such as plastic bags (PB) and noodle wrappers (NW) as substitute to fine aggregates were investigated. Different percent substitutions, specifically 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%, were considered for each mix. The behaviour and strength properties of the concrete with and without PW were analysed and compared Moreover, the microscopic structures of the various types of mixes were observed using a Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and related to the failure mode and strength performance. Results show that concrete with PB outperformed the other concrete mixes with plastics due to the plastic bag’s high stretchable property, compared to the noodle wrappers. In addition, plastics, in general, provide additional ductility to the concrete enabling them to tolerate more deformation at lower loads. The final product of the study is a mix design for producing non-load bearing concrete hollow blocks (CHB) that can be used for low-cost housing in the Philippines.</p>

Shendong mining area hanging nets adopted metal mesh material in the traditional through of fully mechanized coal face. Whose defects were the high cost of materials, process cumbersome, great labor intensity and time consuming. Therefore, new high-strength polyester fiber flexible mesh material was introduced. Its main advantages are: light weight, tensile resistance and drag force strong, flame-retardant and anti-static, low cost, simple process, high efficiency, coal cutting speed. The construction technology process in detail were designed which contained flexible network transported, fixed, dropped and raised. The project was implemented in Shigetai Coal at the end of No.12401 mining face. Results show that from working face mounting network to smoothly through with only 40 hours, compared with the traditional metal net can save 44 hours and cost 480000 yuan.

The green building is one important way to develop the energy conservation work. The green construction technology surmounts in the tradition building technology, paying great attention to energy conservation, low consumption and high efficient and environmental protection. The green construction technology is the sustainable construction method. This paper takes the medicine building in Nanjing Pukou Central hospital as an example to analyze the characteristics of the green construction techniques and study the application of the techniques in public buildings.

This paper studies the technical application of the disposal for FA(fly ash) weak foundation of these abandoned fly ash pool by the construction technology of spraying powder pile, so that, not only these abandoned fly ash pool will be used effectively as soon as possible, but also the surrounding environmental pollution will be improved well. The construction technology of reinforcement weak foundation is efficient, low cost and no pollution. In order to argue it, this paper will discuss the mechanism and feasibility of the construction technology based on first phase project of Xinmei car limited liability company.

Fly ash has become increasingly wide range of applications in expressway as a new environment friendlymaterial, its range of applications are fromthe CFG( Cement Fly-ash Gravel) pile of soft ground、pavement admixture to embankment materials et al. Fly ash used in expressway has many advantages, such as, it can save farmland, has a small settlement after construction and low cost as a light embankment filling. In this paper, based on an expressway in Jiangsu province, the fly ash used as a subgrade filling, a series of fly ash laboratory and field test have been conducted. The construction technology, important construction parameters, construction process control and compaction quality assessment on fly ash have been analyzed on the basis of the tests result, the road performance and construction control key methods of fly ash obtained, which can guide scientific construction.
