Aims and methodIn November 1997 a questionnaire was sent to a large random sample of members, fellows, affiliates and inceptors living in the UK or the Republic of Ireland.ResultsOne thousand four hundred and seventy-six completed questionnaires were available for analysis, a response rate of 63%. The College was complemented for raising standards of education and training in psychiatry and criticised for not trying hard enough, or failing, to influence the policies of the Department of Health. A high proportion of respondents highly valued the British Journal of Psychiatry and Psychiatric Bulletin but few made use of the library. A high percentage of Irish, Welsh and Scottish members, and of members of the five smaller faculties, participated in and expressed their appreciation of the activities of the College.ImplicationsWhatever its other failings the College is not dominated by general psychiatrists and their interests, or by London-based psychiatrists. It is surprisingly successful at involving Scottish, Welsh and Irish psychiatrists, and members of the smaller faculties, in its activities. To some extent, however, the faculties are thriving at the expense of the English divisions.

Vocational education and training systems in the Republic of Macedonia have been put under strong pressure for modernisation in the last decades. In addition to economic and political globalisation, technological innovations brought rapid changes in the type of jobs and the content of labour in the national economies, which lead to change of the demand for qualifications and new skills on an on-going basis; the open market and migration expanded opportunities for work within and between countries, and the complexity of the demand for new skills on the labour market have dramatically begun affecting and shaping the structure, organisation and content of vocational education and training.This report is based on the experiences from the collaborative approach applied in the development of the Strategy for Vocational Education and Training in a Lifelong Learning Context for the Republic of Macedonia, implemented through a process of consultation with a broad stakeholder basis. It addresses the participants in the process, the steps undertaken to ensure involvement of stakeholders and ultimately ownership over the process (or its components), the obstacles encountered and steps undertaken to address them, the problems, their causes and proposals for preventing and/or eliminating them, as well as the lessons learned and recommendations for further development of the social dialogue and partnership.

Abstract Distributed Leadership (DL) is a feature of education in many jurisdictions. Similarly, in Ireland the principles of DL have been adopted as part of a quality framework to underpin a system that provides high quality student care, learning and teaching. This model necessitates an alignment of senior leaders (SLs) and middle leaders (MLs) whose actions are informed by the needs and priorities of their particular school. The traditional notion of the ML position as a management position is changing. The evolution requires a reconceptualisation, a transformation of the role and how we support and develop it to ensure that MLs are an integral part of the leadership structure of the school. This pragmatic research explored the PD needs of MLs in Irish, Education and Training Board (ETB) post-primary schools. It involved a mixed-methods, exploratory sequential study. Stage one involved a set of five semi structured interviews with AP I post holders. These were used as an instrument to develop the online surveys. Stage two involved quantitative research. Online surveys were distributed to all ETB schools in the republic of Ireland. In stage three a summary of the findings of the survey were shared with ten AP Is who were subsequently interviewed to gain further insights. The study illustrated that the development of MLs requires the support of SLs, skills development, a supportive school culture and combined training for senior and middle leaders which should be facilitated by an independent person.

EVALUATION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAMS USING ANDROID-BASED APPLICATIONS IN THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIAThis study is intended to find out of how to develop Evaluation Development Program for Archival Education and Training Based on Android System. This research was conducted on the Nation Archive of Republic Indonesia. The research method used in this research was R & D and the instrument of the study was a questionnaire distributed to participants in archival education and training. The results showed that in developing program following the 3-D model. The 3-D model consists of 3 stages: define, design and develop. In the first stage (defining), it was found that the evaluation carried out was still utilizing paper media. It did not support the implementation of e-Government systems. The second step (design) was started from making the design, and continued with validating the product to the  team experts. The third step was development. This last stage was carried out by a small scale of trial which was participated with 47 participants. In the small-scale of trial phase was to detect the shortcomings of the product development and further development products would be fixed and be ready for large-scale trials. The large-scale of trial was attended by 95 participants. The analyzing result of the large scale trial had shown that the development product was valid and ready to be disseminated.

In the Republic of Moldova, young people who intend to initiate or develop their business are one of the targeted support groups within the framework of the state policy. The article analyzes various aspects of engaging young people in entrepreneurial activity: a brief assessment of statistical indicators is given; support measures for young entrepreneurs, implemented by the Moldovan government and proposed by international/foreign organizations are outlined; features of young entrepreneurs and self-employed are revealed. Emphasis is placed on young graduates of Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions. The main results and conclusions are largely based on a survey of graduates of vocational education and training institutions who have already set up their business or are self-employed. The survey had been implemented during 2016-2017 with the active participation of the authors. The results of the study showed that young people are interested in entrepreneurship and learning the basics of entrepreneurship has a significant motivating influence on the initiation of their business and self-employment. Often, the business of the young is unregistered and is being combined with employment. Only one third of the respondents know about organizations that can provide them with various forms of support. One of the conclusions of the study presents that positive changes can be achieved much faster by combining the efforts of different stakeholders, in this case – the government, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and external donors.

The paper affirms the need for comprehensive education and training in the segment of early and pre-school education in the Republic of Croatia, and particularly points to the need for the contribution of religious education. The possibilities of implementing a religious program are considered, given the legal framework and available quantitative data. In particular, the basic foundations of the Catholic Church's educational activity and the religious-pedagogical concept on which the educational curricula of religious education are based, whose contribution is not justified solely by legal bases, but also by scientific circles. For the sake of the better contribution, they stand out at the end the three challenges. They relate to the formation of educators in the faith, public awareness and the strengthening of educational cooperation between all relevant factors.


The Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health (KEMENKES RI) is a government institution that serves to oversee and provide solutions to the health problems of all Indonesians. KEMENKES RI leadership training is also one of the steps taken as an internal effort of KEMENKES in the quality of human resources. The development of existing technology can be used as a supporting device in achieving the desired results. Revolution 4.0 is the basis used in decision making so that more knowledge is needed in the form of increasing competence based on information technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education and leadership training in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 on employee creativity. The research conducted at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia uses a case study method. To be the sample, 168 employees of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia were chosen through simple random sampling from 289 populations. This study found that there is a positive direct effect of education and leadership training in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 on employee creativity. This study concludes that employee creativity is positively influenced by education and leadership training. Therefore, to maintain employee creativity, organizations must implement leadership education and training. Finally, it was concluded that leadership education and training must be considered in producing better employee creativity

This article is devoted to the educational policy of the European Union in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The EU and Kazakhstan cooperate in the field of education and training in order to promote the modernization of education and training systems in Kazakhstan and bring them closer to EU policies and practices. The parties cooperate to promote lifelong learning and encourage collaboration and transparency at all levels of education and training. In addition, the EU and the Republic of Kazakhstan attach particular importance to measures aimed at strengthening inter-institutional cooperation, promoting the mobility of students, faculty and administrative staff, researchers and young people, and encouraging the exchange of information and experience.
