The article presents the assessment the behavior of a nonlinear dynamic system of a micro-vascular channel of periodontal tissues in phase space by laser Doppler flowmetry. For this purpose, 62 patients aged 18-36 years were examined. The control group consisted of 20 healthy individuals without co-morbidities with intact periodontium. The 1st group was 20 patients with chronic catarrhal gingivitis of mild degree; the 2nd group consisted of 22 patients with chronic generalized periodontitis of mild degree. Assessment of the state of a non-linear dynamic system of periodontal tissues was performed by laser Doppler flowmetry, the device LACC-02 (SPE "LAZMA", Russia) and program 2.2.50 (SPE "LAZMA", Russia). Depending on the functional state of the microcirculation in periodontal tissues, phase portraits, reflecting the dynamic state of the nonlinear system were built. The analysis of phase portraits LDF – grams revealed the dysfunctional types characterizing an inflamma-tory process. It can be used in clinical practice as a method of functional monitoring and forecasting in patients after treatment.

In dental practice, patients with periodontal diseases are quite common. Therefore, to improve the effectiveness of treatment tactics, this article discusses the basic principles of surgical treatment of periodontal pockets using the M-Chip nanomatrix. Laser Doppler flowmetry and index assessment of periodontal tissues were used as diagnostic methods for checking the results.

The article discusses the assessment of the level of interconnection of non-linear dynamic and oscillatory processes in the microvasculature of periodontal tissues by laser Doppler flowmetry. For this purpose an examination of 62 patients aged 18-36 years was carried out. The control group consisted of 20 healthy indi-viduals without co-morbidities with intact periodontium. The 1st group was 20 patients with chronic catarrhal gingivitis mild; the 2nd group – 22 patients with chronic generalized periodontitis mild. The laser Doppler flow-metry with spectral continuous wavelet analysis of the blood flow oscillations was carried out by the apparatus LACC-02 (SPE "LAZMA", Russia). In the course of the study the authors evaluated the relative vibration ener-gy of E0 flow using spectral analysis of the records of the LDF (program 2.2.509 - SPE "LAZMA", Russia) and normalized nonlinear dynamic parameters of microcirculation of periodontal tissues. This allows to reveal their relationship to the parameters of the oscillatory process, to conduct its analysis, to understand the state of the macroscopic behaviour of the modulating factors, both in normal and in pathological conditions. As result of this study, it was found that the changes of the normalized nonlinear parameters microvasculature of periodontal tissues during the inflammatory process (I and II study group) were characterized by a decrease of the chaotic behavior of the system of microcirculation and its order on the basis of the numerical parameters of randomness (*, D2 N).

Subject. A sufficiently sensitive, high-resolution method of laser doppler flowmetry is used to characterize the сlaudication in the oral mucous membrane and periodontal tissues. This method makes it possible to detect early changes in the microcirculatory bloodstream and predict the course of chronic apical periodontitis. With the help of the method of laser doppler fluorometry, a comparative monitoring of the microcirculatory bloodstream of the mucous membrane of the transitory fold in the area of intact teeth and teeth with chronic apical periodontal was carried out. The aim of this study was efficiency determination of complex endodontic treatment of chronic apical periodontitis on the basis of monitoring the state of microcirculation of the mucous membrane in the transitory fold of the studied teeth. Methodology. Control group consisted of 55 patients with chronic apical periodontitis, and 20 patients with intact teeth aged 20 to 30 years old who underwent the analysis of microcirculation of the mucous membrane of the transitional fold of the studied teeth using laser doppler flowmetry (LDF). Results. The indicators IM, Kv, Q among 20 patients with intact teeth examined with the method of laser doppler flowmetry (LDF) were taken as normal. Studied parameters are significantly lower than normal in 55 patients with chronic apical periodontitis. In case of patients with chronic apical periodontitis, the inclusion of complex composed of the root canal system treatment by diode laser and the insertion into the root canal trombocytic autoplasma and its injection in projection of the root end in the protocol of endodontic treatment of chronic apical periodontitis helps to normalize microcirculation in the mucosa of the transitory folds of the investigated teeth. Summary. The study of the dynamics of the complex of endodontic treatment of chronic apical periodontitis showed its high efficiency (p≤0.001).

In dentistry, the method of laser flowmetry (LDF) is used to assess the microcirculatory changes of the oral cavity in normal and pathological conditions. This method is simple and atraumatic, which allows us to quickly and reliably carry out functional diagnostics. LDF is also widely used in related disciplines. The purpose of this review is to assess the microcirculation of intact periodontal tissues in children.

Background: Prostanoids are used in the treatment of Raynaud’s phenomenon and acral perfusion disorders secondary to collagenosis. In subjective terms, intravenous administration of these agents produces success in more than 50% of patients. The therapeutic outcome of clinical administration of alprostadil or iloprost may vary from individual to individual. Patients and methods: The following variables were analysed in a cross-over study in 27 patients with collagenosis and Raynaud’s phenomenon: plasma viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation (rheological variables), partial pressure of oxygen and laser Doppler flowmetry in the finger region, and lymphocyte phenotyping and interleukin (IL) determinations (immunological variables). Results: Laser Doppler flowmetry revealed significant differences between patients with secondary Raynaud’s phenomenon and a control group of 25 healthy subjects. Laser Doppler readings did not change significantly as a result of the treatments. Therapy with iloprost produced a reduction in IL-1beta, L-selectin (CD 62 L) and IL-6. Conclusion: The change in immunological variables due to iloprost may explain the long-term effects of prostaglandins in the treatment of Raynaud’s phenomenon. From our results it is not possible to infer any preference for iloprost or alprostadil.

Relevance. Morpho-functional changes in peripheral circulation established in type 1 diabetes mellitus correlate with changes in central hemodynamics, allowing the use of microcirculation indicators as diagnostic and prognostic criteria for assessing the degree of functional vascular disorders. Identifcation of microcirculation features of the blood by the method of laser Doppler flowmetry in children with different experience of type 1 diabetes in key age categories.Materials and methods. The study included 67 children with type 1 diabetes mellitus aged 12-15 years with an experience of the disease from six months to ten years. The comparison group consisted of 38 healthy children. The state of the microvasculature was assessed by laser Doppler flowmetry using a laser analyzer for capillary blood flow LAKK-OP.Results. In children with an experience of type 1 diabetes of less than two years, microcirculation disorders in periodontal tissues correspond to the hyperemic form, accompanied by increased perfusion, a decrease in the amplitude of low-frequency oscillations, increased heart rate, high blood flling, and blood flow bypass. For children with an endocrinopathy experience of more than three years, microcirculation disorders correspond to a stagnant form, combined with a decrease in perfusion due to stagnation of blood in the venular link, endothelial domination with suppression of neurogenic and cardiac fluctuations, low efciency and redistribution of blood flow in favor of the nutritive link.Conclusions. With the increase in experience, the degree of compensation of type 1 diabetes, the progression of diabetic microangiopathy, it is advisable to designate two stages of development of microcirculatory disorders. Early – compensatory with active adaptation, including neurogenic and endothelial regulation mechanisms. Late – decompensation with passive adaptation, supporting the effectiveness of microcirculation due to myogenic control of regulation, shunting and increasing the rate of blood outflow.
