This article examines the current state, working conditions and forecasts for the development of the Russian labor market. It is revealed that, despite a number of positive trends in the economy, global problems remain in the development of economic mechanisms. It is noted that increasing efficiency and labor productivity while reducing staff costs remains the main way to survive the organization. Frightened by the cuts of 2014–2015, workers try to stay in the workplace, even if they are not satisfied with working conditions. Employers, in turn, having a certain need for staff, cannot offer either existing or new employees improvements in terms of pay and social package, so the motivation to change the company-employer from working employees is minimized. At the same time the head of the organization agrees to pay high wages for commensurate result of labor activity. It was noted that in the personnel management system, the following areas will come to the forefront: the evaluation of the results of staff work, the calculation of the ratio of price and quality of staff training, the development and implementation of key performance indicators.

This paper proposes an answer to a question like "it is better to use something new or use what we already know is a relatively recent technique novelty, which is found in tools manufacturer’s catalogues but still very rarely used, almost unknown in current industrial practice: spiral drill with three cutting edges. To give an endorsed answer, it starts machining a concrete case of a part of aluminium and research, based on a minimal experimental program, the processing with new drilling tool compared with the known helical drill. Answer the question initially is not simple, nor one given in few words and none with the high degree of generality, but one nuanced, depending on the performance indicators considered to be of interest and closeness of experimental working conditions than those found in current industrial environment. Helpful for the formulation and presenting the response is the processing of experimental data in the form of calculations, graphs and summary of the rejection’s causes. In this way, the concluding elements stand out more obvious and a number of partial answers can be formulated and justified recommendations can be done regarding: which of drills, where and in which conditions provides the best quality of machined hole, the best chip fragmentation and with the best ratio: price / quality / operation.

There is a certain shortage of fresh strawberries on the Russian market. The level of production is unable to meet the demand. This can be explained by the predominance of open-ground production. The difficult political situation in the world also has a significant impact on production, as well as the consequences of the pandemic, which exacerbate the crisis phenomena, as a result of which the volume of imported supplies of berries has decreased. The choice of suppliers is limited and the strawberries prices are very high, despite the low quality of berries. At the same time, the Russian market of vegetable greens is at a higher level. In recent years, many enterprises have appeared that are able to grow greens all year round, which has led to a significant reduction of the volume of greens imports from other countries. The trend of transition to a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition proves that the production of greens and berries should be increased throughout the year. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current state of production of berries and greens, as well as technical and economic basis for the creation of a greenhouse complex for the growing of these product types.

Podkarpackie Voivodeship is one of the regions of Poland in which the number of agritourism entities is very high. Therefore tourism plays a significant role in its development strategy. The aim of the paper is to identify the current state of agritourism and the changes that have occurred in the region in the years 2000–2016. Specific objectives are to determine the distribution of agritourism farms and their offer, together with a comprehensive analysis of the environmental and socio-economic factors, as well as the impact of the Slovak-Ukrainian border. The report was developed on the statistical materials from the Polish Central Statistical Office, Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Boguchwała and data collected from municipalities and district offices that is published on their websites, as well as through interviews with 100 owners of agritourism farms in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The research has shown, on the one hand, the decline in the number of farms in the region and, on the other hand, the increase in the diversity of the tourist offer of these entities. Distribution of agritourism farms is closely linked to the attractiveness of natural environment and quality of secondary tourism resources. Traditional agritourism has not yet fully used its countryside, as well as cross-border advantages of its location.

The article discusses the current state of professional training of engineers, in particular, electronics engineers in Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) and explores best practices from US HEIs. The research outlines the features of professional training of electronics engineers and recent changes in Ukrainian HEIs. Such challenges for Ukrainian HEIs as lack of collaboration between higher education and science with industry, R&D cost reduction for HEIs, and downsizing the research and academic staff, the disparity between the available quality of human capital training and the demanded are addressed. The study attempts to identify successful practices of US HEIs professional training of engineers in order to suggest potential improvements in education, research, and innovation for training electronics engineers in Ukraine.
