Cyberbullying has become a frequent relational problem among young people, which has made it necessary to evaluate and prevent it in the university setting. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between cyberbullying, motivation and learning strategies, the ability to adapt to university, and academic performance. A sample of 1368 Spanish university students (64% female) was administered a battery consisting of the European Bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire, the Learning and Study Strategies Inventory Short version, and the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire, with their academic performance also being studied. The results found that the victimized bullies have greater difficulties in their organization and planning for study and exams, have fewer control and consolidation strategies, and are less able to adapt to university. Logistic regression analyses show that the greater the difficulties in organization and planning, and the greater the difficulties experienced in exams, the greater the probability of a person being a victim and a victimized bully. In addition, students are less likely to be victims, bullies, and victimized bullies as their ability to adapt to university increases. The findings have been discussed and it has been noted that there is a need to address academic adjustment and the ability to adapt to the university environment as a preventive measure for cyberbullying in university students.

The quality of academic performance and learning outcomes depend on various factors, both psychological and contextual. The academic context includes the training activities and the type of evaluation or examination, which also influences cognitive and motivational factors, such as learning and study approaches and self-regulation. In our university context, the predominant type of exam is that of multiple-choice questions. The cognitive requirement of these questions may vary. From Bloom's typical taxonomy, it is considered that from lower to higher cognitive demand we have questions about factual, conceptual, application knowledge, etc. Normally, the teacher does not take these classifications into account when preparing this type of exam. We propose here an adaptation model of the multiple choice questions classification according to cognitive requirement (associative memorization, comprehension, application), putting it to the test analyzing an examination of a subject in Psychology Degree and relating the results with measures of learning approaches (ASSIST and R-SPQ-2F questionnaires) and self-regulation in a sample of 87 subjects. The results show differential academic performance according to "cognitive" types of questions and differences in approaches to learning and self-regulation. The convenience of taking into account these factors of cognitive requirement when elaborating multiple choice questions is underlined.

It is measured by their tolerance perception of the academic misconducts. The academic performance is defined and measured as the students’ achievements on the subjects undertaken. These are represented by grade point average (GPA), grade of financial accounting and auditing subjects. A regression analysis is employed to test whether those academic performance have significant impact to the corruptive behavior perception. Based on the analysis, it is found that the GPA and the grade of financial accounting subjects have a positive and significant impact on the corruptive behavior perception. It is suggested that the better performance achieved by students on GPA and these subjects, the better their perception of corruptive behavior. The article deals with the concept of activity, its types - physical and intellectual activity of students, approaches to indicators of physical activity, on the basis of which the components of physical activity are identified; it presents national and foreign studies of the relationship of types of activity. The article demonstrates the results of investigating the relationships between the manifestations of the types of activity of students and athletes studying at the university. The most significant relationships are found between the regulatory component and the result of educational activity; the potential of educational activity and the operational component of physical activity. Analysis of the relationships allows to make a conclusion that academic performance has links with most components of educational activity in both groups. The revealed connections between the components of physical and educational activiies are specific for athletes and students in terms of their number, orientation and strength.

Introduction: Student motivation plays a vital role in how well they perform academically. It is particularly important in dental students due to intense studies and tiring clinical duties. Research has been done to find out the relationship of qualitative and quantitative motivation with academic performance, but with contradictory results. Objective: To find the correlation between the strength of motivation and academic performance among dental students of the University College of Medicine and Dentistry (UCMD).Method: A correlational research design was applied. The strength of motivation was calculated using the SMMS-R questionnaire. The questionnaire was sent on WhatsApp to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and final year students. One hundred and forty-four responses were recorded. Out of these, 4 students did not allow to access their results, thus they were excluded from the study. For the rest of the 140 students, their academic scores of Combined Block Assessment 1 (CBA-1) were provided by the administration department. Data analysis was done using the SPSS 25.Results: Strength of motivation and academic performance showed a positive relationship; Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r) was 0.6 with a p-value of 0.01. With an increase in strength of motivation, the academic performance also increased. Conclusion: A positive relationship was found between the students’ strength of motivation and their academic performance as calculated by the SMMS-R questionnaire. KEYWORDS: Motivation, academic performance.
