Although counseling expectations have been studied in late adolescent and adult samples, little is known about younger adolescents’ openness to counseling and perceptions of the counseling process. In this study, 329 middle school students completed the Expectations About Counseling Questionnaire–Brief Form (Tinsley, 1982). An exploratory factor analysis indicated support for a two-factor structure, consisting of expectations about (a) the student's role and (b) the school counselor's role. Implications are considered for future research and practical efforts to enable young adolescents to benefit more fully from responsive counseling services.

An instructional focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) is a current popular educational due to the widespread need for skilled workers in these growing fields. Compounding this labor shortage is the fact that female students and workers are underrepresented in STEM subjects. The purpose of this study was to examine the experiences of female middle school students participating in school-based robotics programs to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between gender beliefs and academic self-efficacy related to STEM subjects. The results of this study were organized into the theme of experience, influence, coaching, impact, and student descriptors. Contributing factors in the decision to either remain in robotics or leave the program were noted in the category of influence. For the most part, coaching strategies aligned with the idea of the coach as facilitator and schools varied in how they attracted new students. Impact was divided into the coded impact areas of skills, long term, careers, and post-secondary impacts. The theme of student descriptors applied any time coaches and students described students or themselves in specific characteristics, traits, or behaviors. The majority of observations regarding specific gender-related behavior fell into this theme. The data gained in this study contributed information to the field of study in the areas of significance to the field of study, recommendations for schools, and suggestions for further research. The results indicated that individual gender schema is well-established by the middle school years, and it is a transformative moment in life when one must choose what to do with that knowledge. Based on the findings of this study, school districts should fully support robotics programs, focus on mentorship, and expand opportunity while eliminating obstacles for students. First, research should be conducted to determine where gender schema comes into play at the elementary level. Second, research should be conducted to determine what factors students use choosing between robotics and other activities in middle school. Third, schools that are experiencing great success at producing students who enter STEM careers should be studied.

the importance of the research emerged in the role of the level of physical fitness and motor coordination in health and activity for female students in the intermediate stage . As for the research problem, lies in the fact that some male or female teachers in the field of sports do not resort to exercising fitness and using modern and advanced exercises that may help them to maintain their health , As the two researchers resorted to using exercises related to fitness and motor coordination in order for the students to enjoy health and to practice the activity at the best level. The research aims to identify the level of physical fitness and movement-related movement related to health and patterns of activity in female students in the intermediate stage. As for the hypothesis of the research, it is found that there are significant differences between the pre and post tests in the level of fitness, motor compatibility related to health, and patterns of activity in the two research groups. The two researchers used the experimental approach with the two equal and controlling and experimental groups. The research sample consisted of middle school students, whose number reached (34) female students. And patterns of activity for middle school studentsThe researchers recommend the need to use various and targeted exercises related to physical fitness and motor alignment in order to maintain the health of the body as well as the practice of activities in a natural way, and the need to pay attention to conducting tests related to physical fitness and periodic motor alignment in order to know the level of fitness and compatibility of students and develop them.
