Recent growth in technology makes our life faster and easier. This development in technologies leads to enhance the traffic hazards. In this paper, Internet of Things based accident prevention and detection system is proposed to deduce accidents and save human life. The vehicle performance has been continuously monitored for safety purposes. This technique is annoying to maintain speed balance to avoid accident and provide safety to the driver. Hence, a novel approach is proposed to avoid accidents and save the victims while accidents occur. Sensors are exploited to give alarm 'ON' when distance between two vehicles is too short. If accident happens, then the camera is automatically turned on and captures the images around 180 degree angles. This emergency alert information including the location is transferred to nearest police station, ambulance service and relatives through GSM modem. The major component of the project includes a Arduino, motion sensor, touch sensors, relay and GSM modem.

In today's world fuel demand is increasing day by day. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is the most used fuel in Kitchen. This is filled in a cylinder in liquid state. These cylinders blast sometimes, the main reason of cylinder blast is gas leakage. So, to avoid this we need to detect the leakage of gas. For this we need an automatic gas leakage detection system which detects leakage of gas and gives alerts. This type of automatic security system can save people from dangerous blasts and prevent accidents. Nowadays IOT (Internet of Things) is widely used in day-to-day life. There are many home appliances which are based on IOT thus it becomes easier to manipulate them. As we know the kitchen is the most important part of our home, but we also heard about the disasters happening in the kitchen due to various reasons and many people lost their lives. There might be various reasons behind the cause of these disasters but the main and mostly happens is due to the leakage of LPG gas from the cylinder. As LPG gas is highly inflammable gas, a small leakage of gas can be costly for human life. So, if we can detect these leakages of gas before it causes any serious issue then we might save many lives.

The Internet of Things is an emerging technology that integrates the Internet and physical smart objects. This technology currently is used in many areas of human life, including education, agriculture, medicine, military and industrial processes, and trade. Integrating real-world objects with the Internet can pose security threats to many of our day-to-day activities. Intrusion detection systems (IDS) can be used in this technology as one of the security methods. In intrusion detection systems, early and correct detection (with high accuracy) of intrusions is considered very important. In this research, game theory is used to develop the performance of intrusion detection systems. In the proposed method, the attacker infiltration mode and the behavior of the intrusion detection system as a two-player and nonparticipatory dynamic game are completely analyzed and Nash equilibrium solution is used to create specific subgames. During the simulation performed using MATLAB software, various parameters were examined using the definitions of game theory and Nash equilibrium to extract the parameters that had the most accurate detection results. The results obtained from the simulation of the proposed method showed that the use of intrusion detection systems in the Internet of Things based on cloud-fog can be very effective in identifying attacks with the least amount of errors in this network.

The latest buzzword in internet technology nowadays is the Internet of Things. The Internet of Things (IoT) is an ever-growing network which will transform real-world objects into smart or intelligent virtual objects. IoT is a heterogeneous network in which devices with different protocols can connect with each other in order to exchange information. These days, human life depends upon the smart things and their activities. Therefore, implementing protected communications in the IoT network is a challenge. Since the IoT network is secured with authentication and encryption, but not secured against cyber-attacks, an Intrusion Detection System is needed. This research article focuses on IoT introduction, architecture, technologies, attacks and IDS. The main objective of this article is to provide a general idea of the Internet of Things, various intrusion detection techniques, and security attacks associated with IoT.

These days, the use of Internet technology can be found in almost every sector of human life. One of the advanced Internet technologies is Internet of Things (IoT), that is a technology where devices can communicate via Internet connectivity. It is used in many vital industries like automotive, electricity, home automation, and healthcare. This study aims to implement IoT technology for healthcare sector, i.e. in helping obesity people to pursue their weight-loss program (WLP). The result is a system which consists of a smart weight scale, a mobile application, and food menu recommendation database in order to help obesity people in their WLP program. A trial to some obesity patients is performed to collect data. Index Terms—Internet of things; overweight; weight loss program; food recommendation

With virtual assistants, both changes and serious conveniences are provided in human life. For this reason, the use of virtual assistants is increasing. The virtual assistant software has started to be produced as separate devices as well as working on phones, tablets, and computer systems. Google Home is one of these devices. Google Home can work integrated with smart home systems and various Internet of Things devices. The security of these systems is an important issue. As a result of attackers taking over these systems, very serious problems may occur. It is very important to take the necessary actions to detect these problems and to take the necessary measures to prevent possible attacks. The purpose of this study is to test whether an attack that attackers can make to these systems via network time protocol will be successful or not. Accordingly, it has been tried to attack the wireless connection established between Google Home and an Internet of Things device over the network time protocol. Attack results have been shared.
