One of the queue systems that is often found  in daily life is the transportation service system, for example a queue system at the shelters departure of corridor V Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Semarang. Corridor V has three departure shelters, they are Shelter Victoria Residence, Shelter Marina, and Shelter Bandara Ahmad Yani. Corridor V was choosen, because of its high load factor on January to June 2019. Based on the observation, the service time at the departure shelter is usually longer than the normal shelter. This causes the rise of queue at the departure shelters. The queue at the departure shelters can hamper the arrival of BRT at the other shelters, so the application of the queue theory is needed to find out the extent of operational effectiveness at the departure shelters. The resulting queue model is the Non-Poisson queue model, the queue model for Victoria Residence Shelter: (DAGUM/GEV/1):(GD/∞/∞), Marina Shelter: (DAGUM/G/1):(GD/∞/∞), and Bandara Ahmad Yani Shelter: (GEV/GEV/1):(GD/∞/∞). Bus Rapid Transit Trans Jateng Koridor Purwokerto-Purbalingga merupakan moda transportasi massal Dishub Jateng yang beroperasi pada tanggal 18 Agustus 2018. Diharapkan dengan adanya moda transportasi ini mampu mengurangi pertumbuhan kendaraan pribadi di Kota Purwokerto-Purbalingga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah unuk mengevaluasi kinerja BRT Trans Jateng Koridor Purwokerto-Purbalingga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kinerja BRT sudah sesuai dengan standar yang ada. Penelitian dilakukan  pada hari Selasa dan Kamis mewakili hari kerja dan hari libur, dimulai pukul 06.00 sampai pukul 18.00. Standar yang digunakan yaitu World Bank dan SK Dirjen Perhubungan Darat Nomor 687 Tahun 2002. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan load factor sebesar 70%, kecepatan perjalanan pada saat on peak 49,18 km/jam dan off peak sebesar 46.9 km/jam, waktu tempuh pada saat on peak selama 1 jam 05 menit sedangkan off peak sebesar 2 jam 8 menit, headway pada saat on peak selama 15 menit sedangkan pada saat off peak selama 20-25 menit, sedangkan indikator yang masih belum memenuhi SPM adalah jarak antar shelter sebesar 2640 meter. Untuk indikator yang tidak memenuhi standar maka dapat dilakukan dengan penambahan jumlah shelter agar jaraknya tidak terlalu jauh sehingga sesuai SPM.Kata kunci: Bus Rapid Transit Trans Jateng Koridor Purwokerto-Purbalingga, Standar Pelayanan Minimum,

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Sidoarjo merupakan transportasi massal di Kabupaten Sidoarjo yang menerapkan sistem transportasi bis cepat, murah dan ber-AC. Trans Sidoarjo merupakan salah satu bagian dari program penerapan Bus Rapid Transit di Indonesia yang resmi beroperasi pada tanggal 21 September 2015. Dalam pelaksanaan operasionalnya, kinerja pelayanan BRT Trans Sidoarjo kondisi eksisting kurang baik. Salah satu diantaranya nilai load factor tertinggi rata-rata 25% kurang dari standar Indikator Pelayanan Angkutan Umum yang telah ditetapkan Dirjend. Perhubungan Darat sebesar 70% sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap penyebab rendahnya nilai load factor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dimensi BRT Trans Sidoarjo terhadap nilai load factor sehingga diketahui penyebab rendahnya nilai load factor terhadap efektifitas kinerja BRT. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif  kualitatif  dan  kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur untuk data sekunder dan observasi armada BRT untuk data primer. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan luas netto penumpang duduk sebesar 10,915 M2 dan penumpang berdiri sebesar 9,06 M2, tingkat kenyamanan penumpang duduk sebesar 0,3638 M2 dan penumpang berdiri sebesar 0,1812 M2. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas penumpang dan dimensi kendaraan kurang ideal dengan load factor.

The increasing need for transportation has prompted the government to provide public transportation to increase mobility and reduce the number of private vehicles. The Department of Transportation of Central Java Province has developed the Trans Jateng BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) mass transportation in the Barlingmascakeb area through activities to improve the Trans Jateng agglomeration transportation service. The BRT that has been operated in the Banyumas area is Corridor 1 on the Purwokerto-Purbalingga route. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of travel behavior and passengers' willingness to walk. The sampling of the research was random sampling using a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The results of the discussion of travel behavior in terms of the purpose of the trip were dominated by recreation/shopping and education. The majority of BRT users used public transportation as the mode used before switching to BRT, the connecting mode from home to shelter is dominated by feeders, while from destination to shelter is dominated by walking. The connection distance from the house and from the destination to the shelter is >400 meters. Thus, the majority of respondents came from a buffer range of 0-400 meters. Based on willingness to walk, some respondents walk up to a radius of >400 meters. It is necessary to add more shelter points if the distance between stopping points does not meet the standards and provide better shelter access, especially by walking or using other integrated public transportation.

Suroboyo Bus is the one of public transportations based on Bus Rapid Transit as the implementations of Surabaya Municipality policy to fulfill needs of Surabaya citizens about proper public transportation according to security, safety and comfortable aspects. After it’s launching at April, 7th 2018, Suroboyo Bus has so many interests from Surabaya citizens who want to try for grand rides which it payments using plastic waste such as used drinking bottle or glass of mineral water. Payments method by using this plastic waste of drinking bottle in order to complying the objectives of Surabaya Municipality is reducing plastic wastes also citizens shouldn’t make a littering anywhere.  This research is conducted to calculate how much Suroboyo Bus fares that sufficient with existing payments method due to Suroboyo Bus operations needs with using Willingness To Pay (WTP) analysis and Vehicle Operations Cost regulations.As the research results value of Willingness To Pay on weekday is IDR 4.784,12 and then on weekend is IDR 4.602,50.  Value of Vehicle Operations Cost that Suroboyo Bus needed is IDR 13500 according with regulation standard from Directorate General of Land Transportations. Reviewed on load factor value 70% that appropriate with standards from Department of Transportations, so government must subsidize Vehicle Operations Cost for Suroboyo Bus with value IDR 300/passengers-km

Abstract Bus Rapid Transit is expected to become mass transportation serving the Mamminasata agglomeration area, which includes Makassar City, Maros Regency, Gowa Regency and Takalar Regency. Efforts to realize the South Sulawesi Provincial Government program related to the implementation of the Mamminasata Bus Rapid Transit are very dependent on the services provided. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of service performance and its effect on the movement system in Corridor 3 of the Mamminasata Region. This research method uses descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that several service perfor-mance criteria are effective, such as service quality based on travel speed, level of fleet availability, vehicle age, low costs or affordable rates, safety or security and convenience, and timeliness of service based on travel time of each segment and service time. Whereas those that have not been effective include number of buses and fleet capacity, load factor, frequency, distance between stops, operating ratio, regularity, orderliness, accessibility, reliability, easily-accessed information, waiting time, headway, vehicle downtime, travel time, and circulation time. Keywords: Bus Rapid Transit, mass transit, service performance, movement system  Abstrak Bus Rapid Transit diharapkan menjadi angkutan massal yang melayani wilayah aglomerasi Mamminasata, yang meliputi Kota Makassar, Kabupaten Maros, Kabupaten Gowa, dan Kabupaten Takalar. Upaya mewujudkan program Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan terkait penerapan Bus Rapid Transit Mamminasata ini sangat bergantung pada pelayanan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas kinerja pelayanan dan pengaruhnya terhadap sistem pergerakan di Koridor 3 Kawasan Mamminasata. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beberapa kriteria kinerja pelayanan sudah efektif, seperti kualitas pelayanan berdasarkan kecepatan perjalanan, tingkat ketersediaan armada, umur kendaraan, biaya rendah atau tarif terjangkau, keselamatan atau keamanan dan kenyamanan, serta ketepatan waktu pelayanan berdasarkan waktu tempuh setiap segmen dan waktu pelayanan. Sedangkan yang belum efektif meliputi kapasitas dan jumlah armada, faktor muat, frekuensi, jarak antarhalte, rasio operasi, keteraturan, ketertiban, komprehensif, aksesibilitas, keandalan, kemudahan informasi, waktu tunggu, waktu antara, waktu henti kendaraan, waktu perjalanan, serta waktu sirkulasi. Kata-kata kunci: Bus Rapid Transit, angkutan massal, kinerja pelayanan, sistem pergerakan

As the city growing bigger in line with population, urban economics will be alongside daily transportation. The high number of daily transportation need to be accommodated with urban public transport services. In 2011, Bandar Lampung City Government provide Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) as a mass public transportation service in Bandar Lampung City. But, after about 9 (nine) years, the number of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route services is drop. The sustainability is questioned due to the number of passengers and operating routes continuously down, starting from 7 (seven), to 3 (three) then today is only 1 (one) left. But the city without public transportation service certainly become a bad precedent. Rajabasa Route-Panjang is the only Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service exist. The vehicle operating costs calculation shows about IDR 648,101,870 / year, IDR 1,874,252 / day, IDR 312,375 / trip, IDR 8,255 / km, IDR 156,188 / hour and IDR 3, IDR 124 / seat needs to be provided by the regulator/government to ensure the service.

Sustainable transportation service is not only about reducing exhaust emissions but about its impact on society.This work seeks to analyze the potential of ITERA Smart Bus Rapid Transit (Smart BRT ITERA) as a regional campus buses in creating the accessibility needed by the wider community, affordable in terms of tariffs, efficient and supporting economic development and reducing emissions and waste generated in the Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) in Lampung, Indonesia. As a commitment to sustainability by planning Smart BRT ITERA form of collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. ITERA, in this case, acts as the operator of 10 buses grants by the Ministry to serve this activity. It is hoped that this project can become a best practice for other universities in Indonesia


Sustainable transportation is a transportation system that minimizes the impact on economic, social and environmental aspects. One of the land transportation used in Makassar is Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Mamminasata is a public transportation service that can be used by the people of Makassar in middle and lower level. In public transport services is often found the uncertainty waiting time of bus arrival and departure at each stop. This research applies repetitive scheduling method in solving the scheduling problem to know the departure and arrival schedule of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) at every stop. This research proposes the arrival and departure schedule of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) based on each route at each stop. The result of the repetitive scheduling method is the duration of time and the number of units of the bus according to the condition intensity.

The improvement of the mass transportation service in urban areas such as Bus Rapid Transit recently becomes the main issue. The sustainable transportation through the development of the integrated mass public transportation including BRT acts as the main key in solving the various transportation problems in every city. The development of the urban transportation system becomes the agenda of national development. BRT managed by the government should contend against the private sector. Moreover, the government shoud focus on fixing the performance and improving public mass transportation quality. This study aims to evaluate the condition of BRT service which has been implemented in several cities in Indonesia.. The analyses used were the descriptive qualitative and SWOT. The result of this study shows that the service performance of BRT in Batam City remains poor due to the inadequate facilities to support the convenience, safety, and protection aspect for the users.Keywords: Bus Rapid Transit Medium, Urban Transportation System, Mass Transportation Service, SWOT Analysis.  AbstrakPeningkatan kualitas pelayanan transportasi perkotaan terutama transportasi massal seperti Buss Rapid Transit (BRT) menjadi isu sentral pada saat ini. Pembangunan transportasi berkelanjutan melalui pengembangan angkutan umum massal yang terpadu termasuk BRT adalah kunci utama dalam menjawab permasalahan transportasi di setiap kota di Indonesia. Pembangunan transportasi massal perkotaan menjadi agenda pembangunan nasional. BRT yang dikelola oleh pemerintah harus mampu bersaing secara kompetitif dengan swasta, sehingga pemerintah harus fokus memperbaiki kinerja dan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan angkutan umum. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kondisi pelayanan BRT yang telah diimplementasikan pada beberapa kota di Indonesia. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan SWOT. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pelayanan BRT di Kota Batam masih rendah. Hal tersebut terlihat dari kondisi fasilitas yang belum memadai untuk menunjang aspek kenyamanan, keselamatan, dan keamanan pengguna jasa.
