This study investigates the relationship between brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. A total of 99 students from Budi Luhur University was used as respondents in this study based on the convenience sampling method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and SmartPLS 3.0 software. The analysis specifies that there is a significant positive relationship among brand awareness, brand association and perceived quality towards brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. However, there is not a significant relationship between brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. It indicates that consumers who are satisfied with Richeese Factory products and services do not always end up making purchases. The ability of managers to understand the factors which shape consumer brand behavior is required to develop and to maintain their brand position in high competitive fast food brand competition.

This study is aimed at exploring the effects of components of brand equity on overall brand equity; and the effects of overall brand equity on brand preference and purchase intention in the motorbike market in Vietnam. Based on a sample of 309 consumers, structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to test hypotheses. The research reveals that: (1) perceived quality, brand association and brand loyalty have positive effects on overall brand equity, but brand awareness has no effect on overall brand equity; (2) overall brand equity has positive impacts on brand preference and purchase intention; and (3) brand preference has a positive influence on purchase intention. These findings have implications for marketers.

The cosmetics industry is projected to continue to experience growth by the Indonesian Cosmetics Companies Association by 15% to Rp. 11.22 trillion from Rp. 9.76 trillion in 2012. One of the cosmetic brands in Indonesia is Wardah Cosmetic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of celebrity endorsers and Wardah Cosmetic's perceived quality on the buying interest. The method used in this research is the quantitative method, with the type of descriptive-causal analysis. Sampling with a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling type with a sample size of 100 female consumers in the city of Bandung. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique and Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Model analysis. Based on SEM-PLS analysis, the celebrity endorser variable has a strong effect on purchase intention with a T-Statistics value of 7.486. Based on the moderation effect analysis, perceived quality perfectly mediates with a T-Statistics value of 1.124. The conclusion of this study, the variable perceived quality effectively influences as a perfect mediator towards celebrity endorsers and buying interest, which means that Wardah Cosmetic's use of celebrity endorsers is appropriate to affect the perceived quality of Wardah Cosmetic products and stimulate consumer buying interest.

This study aims to see the effect of VACA, VAHU, STVA, and VAIC on financial performance and competitive advantage, as well as the role of competitive advantage in mediating the effect of VACA, VAHU, STVA, and VAIC on financial performance. The population in this study is Islamic commercial banks registered with the financial services authority in 2016-2018. The sample of this research was selected by sampling criteria. Hypothesis testing used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach and the statistical test tool used is WarpPLS 7.0. The results of this study indicate that VACA has a positive influence on financial performance, VAHU has a negative influence on financial performance while STVA and VAIC do not affect financial performance. Furthermore, this study found that VACA, STVA, and VAIC had a positive effect on competitive advantage and competitive advantage also has a positive effect on financial performance. This research also found that, while VAHU did not affect the competitive advantage that competitive advantage plays a role in mediating the effect of VACA and VAIC on financial performance, whereas competitive advantage does not mediate the effect of VAHU and STVA on financial performance.

Brand salience is the eminence of a brand in the consumer memory and is linked to the brand choice and purchase by consumers. Brand salience is the brand’s propensity to get noticed and influenced by consumers in buying situations. This research is aimed at proposing a model of brand salience for fast-moving consumer goods products, which incorporates brand awareness, brand salience, and brand image leading to the purchase intention. Brand awareness was measured with the dimensions of brand knowledge, brand recall, and brand association. Results of the data analysis conducted using partial least square method with structured equation modelling found empirical evidence of a model of brand salience where there was a significant relationship between brand salience and purchase intention. It was found that predominant brand awareness and brand image substantiated to building brand salience. The evidence supported building a primary brand salience to build the depth and breadth of the brand’s associations in consumer memory. The practical implication of the study is that a marketer can build sufficient brand salience; it increases the probability of purchase intention, which in turn is the most important aspect for any company to increase product sales through enhanced customer equity, customer loyalty, and relationship marketing.

This study examines consumer-based brand equity of Cap Kaki Tiga-label branding and relative significance of brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand association on brand loyalty. As additional, this study aims to test the role of brand loyalty as a mediator on the relationship of its predictors on brand equity. A survey instrument was developed, scale measures were pretested, and the final survey was administered directly to 210 respondents. Based on Aaker’s conceptual framework, a structural equation model (SEM) was designed to analyse the proposed relationships. A causal order between brand equity dimensions was established. The results suggest that the positive effects of brand awareness, perceived quality and brand association on brand loyalty, and overall brand equity are mediated by brand loyalty. Marketing managers should focus on brand loyalty in order to increase overall brand equity, and should give special attention to brand awareness, since it is the factor with the strongest impact on brand loyalty.

The data collection uses the questionnaire as the method and analyses it on Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The questionnaires are distributed by online platforms with sample size of 436 respondents who knew about Shift Brand and Shift's Merchandise. The outcomes are brand knowledge, brand satisfaction, brand identification, influence brand image and brand loyalty. Brand loyalty has a positive impact on purchase intention; however, brand image and perceived quality insignificant impact purchase intention. The Shift must develop a strategy to strengthen brand knowledge, brand satisfaction, and brand identification; therefore, it can increase brand loyalty, leading to purchase intention. Keywords: Brand loyalty, brand image, perceived quality, purchase intention, Islamic brand, and partial least square.
