Abstract In highly developed countries, a significant progress in the use of alternative and clean energy sources has recently been observed. The European Union has implemented a programme to build wind turbines. It is estimated that in the coming years, thanks to the support in tax and credit, the global energy will develop very intensively. Many components of the wind turbines are castings. The basic material used for these castings is ductile iron, which in this particular case must meet high requirements imposed by the operating conditions of wind turbines. Anticipating an increase in customer demand for this type of castings, Krakodlew SA has decided to modernize its foundry using the ability to obtain external financing. The ductile iron manufacturing technology is now being developed and adapted to the specific conditions of the foundry plant, including the melting process yielding cast material with the required chemical composition, the technology of moulding, and the conditions for possible secondary metallurgy, spheroidizing treatment and graphitizing inoculation. The fulfilment of the imposed conditions for the casting production demands the use of advanced casting technologies introduced to the manufacturing process. The development of technology to launch the production of ductile iron castings for the wind power industry was supported by The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR). This article presents part of research on the binding kinetics of furan resin sands and choice of their composition for moulds and cores to make heavy castings used as components of equipment for the wind power industry.

This document explains the development of wind power; especially the wind power energy in Xinjiang. At the same time the paper demonstrates the difficulties, wind power technology, Wind power is a fixed tariff and tariff subsidies lag, the grid company lack of acquisition of wind power and the trading system is incomplete and hampered a wide range of consumer satisfaction, which faced in the further development of Wind power industry and finds some factors. The good news is National policy began to tilt to the solar, wind and other clean energy, which is a good opportunity for the wind power industry in Xinjiang.

The wind resource is rich relatively in Hebei Province, and the wind energy utilization also has great potential. So it can play an important role to the sustainable development of Hebei Province energy, prompting the coordinated development of social economy and ecological environment. As a kind of renewable clean energy, wind power has the advantage of no pollution, low cost, but the wind power also has the inherent shortcoming of intermittence, random and instability. To evaluate the competitiveness evaluation of wind power industry in Hebei Province scientifically and accurately, this paper constructed the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, and defined the subordinate function and weight proportion. The competitiveness evaluation of wind power industry in Hebei province showed that the results given by this model are reliable, and this method to evaluate the industry competitiveness is feasible.

Energy is an essential part in life. Currently wind power is the most technologically mature industry in new energy industry, possessed with the most mechanized prospect. The development of Indian wind power industry has gained remarkable achievements, with its wind turbines manufacturing capability and total installation capacity ranking front among current undeveloped countries. Power plants can use wind turbines rather than steam to generate electricity. Being in use with a large scale, wind power can have a significant effect on the growing global need for more energy and efforts to stop climate change. Effective government support, active technological research and international development path are the basic motives to promote the prosperity of Indian wind power industry. With reference to experience from India, enforcing planning, regulation and support and cultivating self innovative ability should be direct countermeasures for our own wind power industry development.

Wind power industry development is one focus of clean energy. From the perspective of industrial agglomeration effect, this paper studied the development of Chinese wind power industry chain. The location quotient (LQ) was used to research the wind power industry agglomeration in North China, Northeast China, Northwest China and Jiangsu coastal areas, and it proves that wind power industry agglomeration is existented in the four regions. The concentration ratio (CR) was used to research the market concertration in these regions, and it proves that the different industial agglomeration degree may lead to different characteristics of wind power industry. The result is that we should connect wind power industry chains in China to promote national industrial development, like the power transmission from west to east.

China's economic rise has transformed the global economy in a number of manufacturing industries. This paper investigates whether China's transformative influence extends to the new green economy. Drawing on the debate about how China is driving major economic changes in the world – the “Asian drivers” debate – it identifies five corridors of influence and investigates their relevance for the wind energy industries. Starting with the demand side, it suggests that the size and rapid growth of the Chinese market have a major influence on competitive parameters in the global wind power industry. While Western firms have found ways of participating in the growth of the Chinese market, the government's procurement regimes benefit Chinese firms. The latter have invested heavily and learned fast, accumulating production capabilities that have led to changes in the global pecking order of lead firms. While the combined impact of Chinese market and production power is already visible, other influences are beginning to be felt – arising from China's coordination, innovation and financing power.

Based on the background of structural overcapacity in wind power industry, this paper analyzes the stakeholders’ motivations and behaviors. With game theory, wind power feed-in, tax concessions and other key issues are discussed. Then this paper puts forward some optimal paths from government strategy, determination and allocation price policy and incentive policy, which provide theoretical guidance and practical value to achieve the overall development of wind power industry.
