AbstractThe objectives of the research were to obtain the Marshall properties of asphalt concrete mixture mixed with variations of manual compact collisions and to determine the optimum number of compactions collisions in the asphalt concrete mixture using anti stripping additives. The independent variables in this research are variation of the number of compaction collisions of asphalt concrete as many as 2x50, 2x75, 2x100, 2x125 and 2x150, with optimum asphalt content of 6%, and Wetfix Be 0,3% to optimum asphalt content. Marshall test method used in this research was based on SNI 06-2489-1991. The dependent variables (research parameters) included percent of cavities in the aggregate (VMA), percent of cavities in the mix, percent of cavities filled in asphalt (VFB), percent of cavity to mix (VIM), stability, melting, and Marshall Quotient. The result showed that the optimum number of compactions of asphalt concrete was 2x100 with Marshall properties value fulfilling SNI 8198-2015 specification. In Asphalt concrete mixture with optimum asphalt content (KAO) of 6%, Wetfix Be level of 0,3%, optimum number of compactions of 2X100, could be obtained by Aggregate (VMA) cavity 17.50%; Asphalt filled cavity (VFB) 76.50%; Cavity to Mixture (VIM) 4,00%; Stability of 1800.00 kg; Melting of 3.75 mm; and Marshall Quontient 500.00 kg/mmKeywords: Anti Stripping, Collision, Compaction, Wetfix BeAbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mendapatkan nilai properties Marshall campuran beton aspal dengan berbagai variasi jumlah tumbukan pemadatan dan menentukan jumlah tumbukan pemadatan yang optimum pada campuran beton aspal dengan menggunakan bahan tambah anti stripping. At present, plastic is a material that is needed by the community at large, where the impact is also very extraordinary after the plastic is used in everyday life which can cause serious problems if the management is not done properly. The problem of plastic waste does not only occur in the city of Semarang, but also in other cities, so that the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has implemented a paid plastic bag program in the short term. But this is only to deal with problems in the short term. In the long run, it will not solve the problem of "plastic waste", because the policy actually encourages people to buy plastic which, of course, will add a new burden for the community to buy it. Based on the above problems, it is necessary to utilize this plastic waste to be made into road pavement materials such as in the manufacture of Asphal Concrette Wearing Course, by making 5 mixed variations ranging from (2 to 10)% of the weight of the aggregate . This research was initiated through a survey process, material procurement, testing of stacking materials, making test specimens, testing specimens. The results of the research can show that the type of Thermosetting plastic waste has a significant influence on the Asphalt Concrete mixture AC-WC heat mixture, including: Density, Marshall Stability, Flow, VIM, VMA, MQ and the remaining Marshall Stability tend to show an increase, moderate VFA and VIMrefusal Density values tend to show a decrease. Thus the plastic waste from the Thermosetting type can be used as a partial replacement of the aggregate for the Asphalt Concrete mixture AC-WC heat mixture with a plastic waste content is limited to a maximum of 10% and at an optimum asphalt content of 5.55%. Thus this research is expected to be of benefit to the industry and the people of Semarang in relation to the use of plastic waste for road pavement.

The article describes the main problems of manufacturing asphalt concrete mixtures at the factories under Ministry of Communication in the Republic of Lithuania. The Lithuanian Road Network is up to 21.122 km of state roads. 1.455 km of them are motorways, 3.415 km—national roads and 16.251 km—regional roads. Half of the state roads in Lithuania are paved with asphalt concrete. 98% of the motorways and 36% of the regional roads have asphalt pavement. Asphalt concrete pavement resistance to corrosion can be increased by improving asphalt concrete mixture production technology: ie by updating technological equipment, changing technological conditions and developing new methods of asphalt concrete mixture production. Therefore, the updating of asphalt concrete mixture production technologies is a very important factor for improving road operating properties and ensuring proper duration of asphalt concrete pavements. Here is the essence of the new separate successive technology: crushed stone and sand are mixed with bitumen in the main asphalt concrete mixer, the amount of bitumen being calculated according to the bitumen absorption in the materials. Then the asphalt cement material produced in a separate high-speed mixer is passed, and the whole mixture is remixed in the main mixer and supplied to the customer. Both separate consequent technologies differ from each other in the order of supplying asphalt cement material into the main mixing unit. Separate successive technology was theoretically grounded by the correlation between the technological thickness of bituminous film and the chemical-mineralogical composition and size of constituents, by the correlation between the particle size and their capability to compose aggregates, by the emergence of the oriented binding material coating on the technological bituminous film encoating mineral particles. Special attention is given to the manufacturing of asphalt cement material in a separate high-speed mixer (3 Table). It was theoretically grounded that mineral filler passing through the intensive shift zone between the paddle ends of the high-speed mixer and the walls of mixing chamber disintegrate and new active surfaces become visible. The molecular structure changes and free radicals appear. This intensive mixing guarantees high bitumen adsorption on the surface of mineral filler, which increases asphalt concrete resistance to corrosion and its durability, improves ecological environment in the asphalt concrete plant. In order to confirm the reliability of research results and explain correlative and regressive regularity, statistical data were processed applying statistical data processing programming system “STATGRAPHICS”. The linear regressive analysis for determining close relations of separate asphalt concrete quality indicators with speed gradient of asphalt cement material shift in a high-speed mixer was performed. Therefore, the possibility to change shift speed gradient from 3000 to 5000 1/s is provided in terms of reference for manufacturing asphalt concrete mixing plant. Correlation between separate asphalt concrete quality indicators and asphalt cement material shift speed gradient as well as bitumen amount in the asphalt cement material was determined by multi-dimensional regressive analysis of experimental data. The calculated correlation factor squared (R2) and F criteria indicate the adequacy and reliability of the multidimensional regression model.

Styrofoam waste presents the environment issue because it is difficult to decompose. As an effort to recycle this pollutant, styrofoam can be utilized as an additive in asphalt concrete mixture. The use of additives aims to create a flexible pavement layer having good performance and meet the requirements. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the addition of styrofoam can improve the quality of asphalt mixtures, and look for alternative additives that can increase asphalt pavement performance. In this study, researchers used food container styrofoam as an addition and incorforated into Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixture. The styrofoam content was 6.5%; 6.75%; 7% ; 7.25%; and 7.5% of asphalt weight. The optimum asphalt contentused is 5.5%. The value of the optimum stability was 3126,002 kg, found at 7.25% of styrofoam content. The best results of Marshall test was obtained at 6.5% of styrofoam content  with stability value  1362,045 kg, VIM value 4,96%, VMA 15,025%, VFA 67,800%, flow 3,44 mm, and MQ 416,338 kg / mm.
