This research aims to know the descriptive of input, environment, and outcome; analyze the influence of input to outcome; analyze the influence of environment to outcome; analyze the influence of input to environement; and analyze the role of environment in mediating the influence of input to outcome. Student previous achievement consisting of Mathematics and Indonesian National Exam at Junior High School is the educational input. Student engagement consisting of school engagement and class engagement is the educational environment and student accounting competence is the educational outcome. This research was a quantitative research. Data analysis used descriptive and path analysis technique. The total population and sample consists of 128 students of first class accounting. The results and conclusions in this study indicate that accounting competence is still good, student engagement is good, and student previous achievement is very good. There are influences of mathematics National Exam, Indonesian National Exam, school engagement, and class engagement on student accounting competence; there are influences of Mathematics and the Indonesian National Exam on school engagement and class engagement. School engagement mediates the influence of mathematics National Exam on accounting competence, but it does not mediate the influence of the Indonesian National Exam on accounting competence. Then, class engagement mediates the influences of the mathematics and Indonesian National Exam on accounting competencies.

School is one of the institutions in transferring the balance between moral values to students in the learning process, so as to create innovations to improve the quality of institutions nationally. Yehonala School, one of the schools in Batam City that focuses on developing and shaping the characteristics of educators. Yehonala School is a National Plus based school in partnership with Cambridge University Press, and the motto is 'To Grow in Wisdom!' starting from the Play Group level, Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK). Yehonala School has an image as "The Best Learning Place for Children", the image is obtained through superior programs and achievements obtained from the Indonesia Achievement Center (IAC). The image that has been formed and attached to the Yehonala school in Batam City. This, of course, cannot be separated from the role of Yehonala School's Public Relations in maintaining that image first during the current pandemic. This research is based on an analysis of systems theory and the concept of the four roles of Public Relations proposed by Cutlip, Center and Broom. The type of research applied in this research is descriptive qualitative, the data collection applied in this research is in-depth interviews. The analytical method applied in this research is the Miles and Huberman analysis technique called the interactive model. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of PR as a communication technician in maintaining an image during a pandemic. The results of the study found that three coding findings related to the role of Yehonala School's Public Relations as a communication technician, namely: (1) Utilization of Social Media (2) Social Media Content (3) The resulting reaction. The role of Yehonala school's PR is only as a communication technician and Yehonala's school implements a closed system because PR does not act as an information seeker.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong produk kebijakan pendidikan Pemda Kota Mataram dalam mengembangkan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal; (2) implementasi penyelenggaraan kebijakan pendidikan SMK yang sesuai dengan kearifan lokal; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK. Informan kunci pada penelitian adalah Kepala Dinas Dikmen sub-bagian kepala seksi kurikulum, Kepala Sekolah, Wakasek Humas Industri, Pembimbing Industri, dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong kebijakan Pemda terkait pengembangan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal belum memadai; (2) implementasi kebijakan Pemda, antara lain: (a) monitoring dan evaluasi, (b) menyediakan unit gedung baru, (c) membuka kompetensi keahlian baru, (d) pemberian dana, (e) mengadakan Gebyar SMK se-Kota Mataram; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK antara lain: (a) penyelenggaraan prakerin siswa berjalan dengan baik. b) industri sebagai tempat pemagangan guru, c) industri terlibat dalam uji kompetensi siswa tingkat akhir dan tempat menyalurkan lulusan, d) belum ada kerja sama terkait penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, dan e) pengembangan kurikulum dalam bentuk workshop kurikulum. Kata kunci: peran DUDI, penyelenggaraan SMK, kearifan lokal THE ROLE OF BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (VHS) BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM IN THE CITY OF MATARAM Abstract This research aims to know: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the product education policy of the local government in Mataram City for developing vocaational high school (VHS) based on local wisdom; (2) the implementation of VHS education policy with an appropriate local wisdom; and (3) the role of business and industry in developing VHS. The key informants in this research were the Head of Secondary Education Curriculum Sub-section, Principal, Vice Principal of Industry Public Relations, Industry Counsellors, and students. The data were collected by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique included data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the regional government policy related to VHS development based on local wisdom had not been adequate; (2) the implementation of regional government policy were among others: (a) monitoring and evaluation, (b) providing a new building unit, (c) opening new expertise competencies, (d) providing funds, (e) conducting Gebyar SMK in the city of Mataram; and (3) the roles of business and industry in the development of VHS were among others: (a) the implementation of the students’ industrial practice ran well, (b) the industry as the place for teachers’ apprenticeship, (c) the industry was involved in students’ competency test at the end of the students’ study and as an institute which would recruit the graduates, d) there had not been any cooperation related to the provision of facilities and infrastructure, and e) curriculum development in the form of a curriculum workshop. Background - The COVID-19 pandemic impacts public health and the Indonesian people's economic conditions, education, and social life. Vocational high school graduates who have been looking for work in the last two years have experienced significant disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Competition in the labor market is very high and coincides with the worker who has also experienced termination of employment (PHK) from the company. Research Purpose - This study tests and analyzes the influence of empowering leadership on individual creativity, moderated by competence. Research Methodology - Research conducted survey method on vocational high school graduate or equivalent in the Yogyakarta Special Region (Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Municipality, Bantul, Kulonprogo, and Gunungkidul). Sampling was done by convenience sampling and data collection by distributing questionnaires (google form). The number of respondents who filled out and returned the questionnaire was 108 people. The data analysis technique used in SPSS 24. Test the instrument with a test of validity (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and reliability by looking at Cronbach Alpha. Hypothesis testing using simple regression (H1 test) and tiered regression test (H2 test). Research Result / Contribution - The results of this study found that: there are several limitations in this research that require further research. (1) there is an influence of empowering leadership on individual creativity, (2) this influence is moderated by competence. This research has practical implications for leaders, and the discussion results show that further research still needs to be discussed.

The most important factor in human life is education. Education is one of the learning media to form characters that are influenced by human life, both personal and social. This research was conducted to determine and analyze the influence of the Word of Mouth and Marketing Mix on the decision of parents to choose a boarding school and to determine and analyze the role of Word of Mouth in mediating the influence of the Marketing Mix on the decision of parents to choose a school. This research belongs to the type of explanatory research, meaning research that explains the relationship between variables that test the hypothesis. The total population in this study consisted of 125 guardians of students. Determination of the sample using the census method where the total population is then used as a sample in this study. Data analysis techniques are part of a process with the stages of collecting research data. The author uses the technique statistical least Square (PLS). The results of this data analysis state that the Marketing Mix has a positive and significant effect on Word of Mouth. Word of Mouth and Marketing Mix have a positive and significant effect on the decision of parents to choose a school of junior high school boarding. And marketing indirectly has a significant effect on the decision of parents to choose junior high School Boarding in Tanggulangin Sidoarjo, Indonesia.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat pemahaman diri, layanan BK, dan citra terhadap SMK dari siswa SMP di Kab.Hulu Sungai Utara; dan (2) besarnya pengaruh pemahaman diri siswa, bimbingan dan konseling di SMP dan Citra SMK secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama terhadap minat siswa SMP di Kab. HSU melanjutkan studi ke SMK. Populasi seluruh siswa SMP di Kab.Hulu Sungai Utara. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan cluster sampling sebanyak 245 siswa. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dan regresi ganda dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) minat SMP di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara masuk SMK berada pada kategori cukup, (2) pemahaman diri SMP di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara masuk SMK berada pada kategori cukup, (3) layanan BK pada SMP di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara masuk SMK berada pada kategori cukup, (4) citra SMK pada SMP di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara masuk SMK berada pada kategori cukup, dan (5) faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi minat SMP di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara masuk SMK yaitu pemahaman diri siswa dengan koefisien korelasi r = 0,527 dan uji t yang menghasilkan nilai p = 0,000, layanan bimbingan konseling memiliki koefisien korelasi 0,512 dan n uji t yang menghasilkan nilai p = 0,000, dan citra SMK memiliki koefisien korelasi 0,504dan uji t yang menghasilkan nilai p = 0,000. FACTORS THAT INFLUENCING THE INTEREST OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (SMP) STUDENTS IN ENTERING VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (SMK)AbstactThis research is aimed to find out: (1) the level of self-understanding, the counseling (BK) service, and the image of SMK of Junior High School (SMP) students in Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU) Regency; and (2) how much the influence of the students’ self-understanding, BK service in SMP, and the image of SMK, both individually and in aggregate on the interest of SMP students in HSU Regency to continue their study to SMK. The population is all of SMP students in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The sample of this research was taken based on the cluster sampling technique which consisted of 245 students. The instrument used was an open questionnaire. The data analysis technique to test hypothesis was the double linear regression method with three predictors with the level of significance of 5%. The result of this research shows that: (1) the variable of students’ self-understanding is categorized as ‘fair’ (cukup) with the percentage of 73.88%, that of the counseling service is categorized as ‘fair’ with the percentage of 62.45%, and that of the image of SMK is also categorized as ‘fair’ with the percentage of 69.39%, (2) the factors influencing SMP students’ interest in entering SMK at HSU Regency are the students’ self-understanding with the correlation coefficient of 0.527 (p=0.000), the counseling (BK) service with the correlation coefficient of 0.512 (p=0.000), and the image of SMK that has the correlation coefficient of 0.504 (p=0.000).

One of the factors that contribute to the level of employability is entrepreneurial intention. This study discusses the role of entrepreneurial intentions on students' employability. The population in this study was all students of grade XII of Vocational High School Koperasi Yogyakarta, Indonesia, consisting of 141 students. The sample in this study was 86 students. The sample selection was done by randomizing using a cluster random sampling technique. Methods of data collection used in this study are scales, employability scale, and entrepreneurial intentions scale. Analysis of the data used in this study is the product-moment analysis technique. The results of data analysis showed the correlation between entrepreneurial intentions and employability where r = 0.339 with p = 0.001 (p < 0.01), which showed a very significant positive correlation between the two variables at the research site. It means that the level of employability can be predicted based on entrepreneurial intention. The entrepreneurial intention contributed 11.5% to employability, and the remaining 88.5% can be influenced by other variables.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the effect of critical thinking skills on students’ learning competency in accounting subjects at vocational high school in Surakarta. The indicators of critical thinking ability used in this study referred to the theory developed by Ennis, while the accounting competency indicators used referred to Bloom's taxonomy. This research was experimental quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of grade X accounting at SMK 1 Surakarta totaling 96 students. The sample of this study was class X AC (Accounting) 2 as the experimental class and X AC 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used in this study was Cluster Random sampling. The data analysis technique used in the study was Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), with pre-requisite tests that had to be done before, namely normality and homogeneity tests. This study concluded that there are differences in the influence of critical thinking skills on students’ competency in accounting learning.

The situation in the Covid-19 era was directed at every online integrated learning. The purpose of this research is to produce SISCA media that is integrated with web and oriented GC for high school and vocational high school learning. This type of quantitative research uses the Four-D (4D) model development method which is more focused on development. Samples were taken by purposive sampling and considered as research subjects, represented by high school and vocational high school students. The research instrument, in the form of a student response questionnaire, was used to collect data before and after learning. The analysis technique uses a Likert scale, and the results obtained using SISCA media on learning produce positive changes with an average difference for the three aspects that are responded to very significantly.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of extracurricular sports activities on students' motivation in physical education at Cimahi City 7 Junior High School. The research method used is the expoct facto method. The research population was students of class VII to IX who were active in the extracurricular activities of futsal, soccer, volleyball, and basketball as many as 40 people with a sample of each extracurricular are 10 people both sons and daughters. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is percentage. The results of this study indicate that the role of extracurricular sports activities has a very large influence on students' motivation in attending physical education learning which is equal to 86.5% which falls into the very high category.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa disfungsi tugas komite sekolah sebagai penindaklanjut aspirasi masyarakat tidak mempengaruhi turunnya mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Hal ini karena perangkat pendidikan SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta sebagai sebuah sistem sosial bersifat otopoietik yang dapat memperbaharui ketidakberfungsian pada salah satu atau beberapa subsistem pendidikan. Partisipasi diperluas dalam berbagai aspek baik sarana, prasarana, maupun kerajasama dengan stake holderThe role of school committees in improving the quality of education: Studies at SMP Negeri 1 SurakartaThis study aims to reveal the role of the school committee in efforts to improve the quality of education in SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques by interview. Data analysis was performed using the Milles & Huberman analysis technique model. The conclusion of this study is the dysfunction in the school committee's duties as a follow-up role for community aspirations does not affect the decline in the quality of education at Surakarta 1 Public Junior High School. This is because the educational apparatus of Surakarta 1 Public Junior High School as a social system is autopoietic which can renew the malfunctioning in one or several of its subsystems. Participation is expanded in various aspects, including facilities, infrastructure, and cooperation with stakeholders
