This paper aims to provide an alternative design for Simple Cooperative Learning on online learning by accommodating a variety constraints and difficulties faced by teachers and students and answer weaknesses of existing methods. This study used research and development method using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) design to produce an online-based cooperative learning model, namely SCL-D (Simple Cooperative Learning Design). The survey was conducted on a sample of 153 students at state and private vocational schools in Malang city. The results of this research are a learning model. Therefore, this method is suitable for completing research objectives, namely producing an SCL-D learning model that is suitable for learning accounting for vocational high schools with 3M requirements ‘easy, cheap, and attractive’. Online-based learning has many advantages as well as weaknesses. Various e-learning platforms make it easy for teachers and students to interact in online learning. The teacher's ability to design attractive distant learning is a determining factor for the success of the learning process. The test results of the SCL-D model show that through this simple cooperative learning design improves student learning achievement.

This study investigated the behavior of investment decisions that were not only assumed on rationality but were also affected by other factors, such as psychological factors, one of which was financial literacy. There were so many causal studies of financial literacy and investment intentions. However, there were still issues of inclusion between studies. Therefore, this study adopted a theory of planned behavior, proposed as an explanatory model for investment intentions associated with financial literacy. By proposing attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control related to investment as a mediator of investment intention, the unit of analysis was students who were members of the capital market study group spreading across universities in Semarang. The sample used was 170 students conducted through a questionnaire survey, then analyzed descriptive statistics and SEM with the PLST Warp. The results showed that all variables, both attitudes, subjective norms, perceptions of behavioral control, significantly mediated the effect of financial literacy on investment intention in partial mediation. For future research, you can explore the variables of financial education as early predictors associated with this research model to get a holistic picture related to the effectiveness of student financial education.

This study examined the three dimensions that should exist in a learning community, namely Student Cohesiveness, Integration, and Task Orientation, related to their influence on attitude toward computer-based statistics. Attitude toward computer-based statistics itself is measured using constructs of the revised Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study was designed to justify the value of information systems (IS) in overcoming accounting students' statistical problems. The use of IS probable to reduce the pressure in dealing with statistics so that there is an opportunity to increase accounting students' competitive advantage. The respondents consisted of 105 undergraduate accounting students. The data was collected using a 5-scale Likert questionnaire then analyzed using Structural Equational Modelling (SEM). With purposive sampling, this study was collected 105 responses obtained from private and state universities. The results indicate that task orientation is the key indicator of the learning community, affecting attitude toward computer-based statistics. Meanwhile, the second-order factors show that all three predictors were essential in explaining attitude toward computer-based statistics and significantly impacted Reuse Intention. This study also suggests implementing an informal learning community to build learning dynamics that are more independent but still controllable so that the learning topic is integrated with certain subjects.

This study examines the use and development of instructional media by the teachers of Office Administration Vocational School (OAVS) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The population of this survey research is all teachers of OAVS in DIY. This research employed the purposive sampling technique and considered only the teachers who had been teaching productive subjects for at least five years. The descriptive analysis technique was used to conduct the data analysis. The result shows all the teachers of OAVS in DIY have utilized learning media in teaching and learning activities. The most widely used type of instructional media is the PowerPoint. The technical constraints experienced in utilizing learning media are related to the preparation of using learning media. While the non-technical are related to the availability of facilities and infrastructure. Teachers of OAVS in DIY who have developed learning media are still at a low level. Technical things experienced by teachers in developing learning media are constrained in the process of planning the development of learning media and should look for media experts who will validate. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting student engagement in Microeconomics online classes based on E-Learning Engagement Design (ELED). This study applied a mixed method with a sequential model. The study population included all students of the Department of Economics Education UNNES who took online courses in Microeconomics and Microeconomics 1, both regular and international classes, with a total of 320 students and 4 lecturers handled the classes. The results showed that situational interest, personal significance, mastery of self-talk and mastery of self-talk for performance had a positive effect on student engagement in Microeconomics online classes. Meanwhile, mastery of self-talk to avoid negativity, environmental control, independent consequences, and setting proximal goals do not significantly influence student engagement in Microeconomics online classes. The concept of E-Learning Engagement Design (ELED) has been applied to all components. However, it is necessary to standardize the learning environment components to make sure there is no gap among Microeconomics classes which leads to less optimal academic services.

This study aims to investigate the implementation of virtual learning on students’ learning outcomes mediated by motivation and to compare its effectiveness between urban and rural areas. This study employed quantitative design, involved 362 students of Faculty of Education in UNESA. To determine the sample, it employed Solvin’s formula. The data were collected by using three instruments, specifically Virtual Learning Effectiveness, Learning Outcomes, and Motivation. To see the difference of virtual learning on learning outcomes mediated by motivation based on student’s location, path analysis was performed twice by separating the data into two kinds of groups. The first group contains student’s data that lived in an urban area. The second group contains student’s data that lived in a rural area. The findings of this research confirm that the virtual learning is effective to improve students’ learning outcomes which was mediated by motivation. In addition, it was found that the motivation of students from urban areas is higher than those from rural areas. It suggests that the native location of students influences their motivation.

This study aimed to provide empirical evidence of the effect of smartphone-based Quizlet on students’ learning interest in Universitas PGRI Madiun, Indonesia. This study was pre-experimental with a one-shot case study that is a group that got help, and the results were observed next. The population were accounting education students in Universitas PGRI Madiun. 54 students received smartphone-based Quizlet assistance in learning activities. We used statistical testing to test comparisons formulated in research hypotheses using simple linear regression tests. The results proved empirically that the use of smartphone-based Quizlet affected the students' learning interest in Universitas PGRI Madiun, Indonesia. The menu provided in the Quizlet application could activate students in learning and give a positive effect to students. Students became active in learning activities, did assignments on time, and learnt independently. The Quizlet application can be used as material for educators to consider increasing student interest in learning social science.
