Life environment education gains the main priority for formal education. For school stakeholders, this condition should be responded to immediately. Schools have to struggle to improve their learners’ environmental awareness. This research describes and analyzes the Living Environmental education policy, its integration to a geographic lesson, and learners’ environmental awareness behaviors of Senior High Schools in Brebes. This research is qualitative. The data were collected by interviewing, observing, and studying the document. The applied data analysis stages were data reduction, display, and conclusion. The findings showed that 1) the Living Environmental education policy was determined by the school since there were no obligated rules from the government. 2) Living Environmental education integration had been promoted well in a geography lesson. It was realized into learning instrument administration and the learning process. This life environment education could be integrated into almost all basic competencies of all geographic materials. 3) learners were aware of a better living environment. They were aware and could understand the problems and negative impacts. In addition to these, learners also acted and were committed to keeping their life environment.

Metodologias alternativas. Several organizations are trying to reverse this problem and environmental education is an essential instrument to change the current situation. This work aimed to raise awareness among high school students about the importance of proper disposal of solid waste and demonstrate how simply it is possible to change daily attitudes towards environmental preservation. The project was developed with 3rd grade students from a school in the state education system of Paraná. In October 2018, a composter was produced and 13 students were invited to participate voluntarily of the execution of the project. Initially, several lectures were held on the transversal themes of composting. After construction, all organic waste produced at the school was deposited in the compost bin. The students were also encouraged to transmit the knowledge acquired to the community, aiming to broaden the dissemination of environmental education. Before and after the activities, questionnaires were applied to examine the students' previous knowledge, as well as the knowledge they developed during all the activities. After the interventions, it was possible to visualize, with the help of the questionnaires, the evolution in the students' knowledge about the theme, as well as an awareness about the correct destination of the waste generated. It is hoped that more work aimed at environmental awareness will be carried out in the school environment — where part of the individuals’ formation occurs. Keywords: Biodegradation. Having access to a reliable environmental source of education contributes to pro-environmental behaviors. Yet, it is unclear whether such environmental education should be centered on the current or the next generation. To investigate the possible impact of environmental education on sustainable development and make a comparison between the older and the future generations, this research surveyed 376 household heads (also farmers) from two municipalities and 200 Senior High School students from four municipalities/districts in the Eastern region of Ghana. The results revealed that both farmers and students demonstrated considerable environmental awareness. However, the students showed a higher and acceptable cumulative percentage environmental knowledge score than the farmers. The results from the Linear Probability Model estimates of perceived environmental knowledge indicate that being a male increases the probability of having perceived environmental knowledge by 30.8 percentage points, controlling other demographic characteristics. Whiles being enrolled in a Senior High School (young generation) increases the probability of having perceived environmental knowledge by 30.8 percentage points. Furthermore, over 98% of the students indicated their availability to equip themselves better to confront the deteriorating environment compared to 81% of the older generation. The results revealed that the younger generation has the motivation, readily available to gain more knowledge and skills to become and raise an environmental generation. These meet the three most important elements of the Environmental Generation Framework, which focus on the younger generation to achieve sustainable development.

Since its evolution environment has remained both a matter of awe and concern to man. The frontier attitude of the industrialized society towards nature has not only endangered the survival of all other life forms but also threatened the very existence of human life. The realization of such potential danger has necessitated the dissemination of knowledge and skill vis-a-vis environment protection at all stages of learning. Therefore, learners of all stages of learning need to be sensitized with a missionary zeal. This may ensure transformation of students into committed citizens for averting global environment crisis. The advancement of science and technology made the life more and more relaxed and man also became more and more ambitious. With such development, human dependence on environment increased. He consumed more resources and the effect of his activities on the environment became more and more detectable. Environment covers all the things present around the living beings and above the land, on the surface of the earth and under the earth. Environment indicates, in total, all of peripheral forces, pressures and circumstances, which affect the life, nature, behaviour, growth, development and maturation of living beings. Irrational exploitation (not utilization) of natural resources for our greed (not need) has endangered our survival, and incurred incalculable harm. Environmental Education is a science, a well-thought, permanent, lasting and integrated process of equipping learning experiences for getting awareness, knowledge, understanding, skills, values, technical expertise and involvement of learners with desirable attitudinal changes about their relationship with their natural and biophysical environment. Environmental Education is an organized effort to educate the masses about environment, its functions, need, importance, and especially how human beings can manage their behaviour in order to live in a sustainable manner.  The term 'environmental awareness' refers to creating general awareness of environmental issues, their causes by bringing about changes in perception, attitude, values and necessary skills to solve environment related problems. Moreover, it is the first step leading to the formation of responsible environmental behaviour (Stern, 2000). With the ever increasing development by modern man, large scale degradation of natural resources have been occurred, the public has to be educated about the fact that if we are degrading our environment we are actually harming ourselves. To encourage meaningful public participation and environment, it is necessary to create awareness about environment pollution and related adverse effects. This is the crucial time that environmental awareness and environmental sensitivity should be cultivated among the masses particularly among youths. For the awareness of society it is essential to work at a gross root level. So the whole society can work to save the environment.

Universities or institutions that operate in North Sumatra are very many, therefore, of course, competition in accepting new students is very tight, universities or institutions do certain ways or steps to be able to compete with other campuses in gaining interest from community or high school students who will continue their studies to a higher level. STMIK BUDI DARMA Medan (College of Information and Computer Management), is the first computer high school in Medan which was established on March 1, 1996 and received approval from the government through the Minister of Education and Culture, on July 23, 1996 with operating license number 48 / D / O / 1996, in promoting the campus, the team usually formed a promotion team to various regions in the North Sumatra Region to provide information to the community. Students who have learned in this campus are quite a lot who come from various regions in North Sumatra, from this point the need to process data from students who are active in college to be processed using data mining to achieve a target, one method that can be used in data mining, namely the ¬K-Modes clustering (grouping) algorithm. This method is a grouping of student data that will be a help to campus students in promoting, using the K-Modes algorithm is expected to help and become a reference for marketing in determining the marketing strategy STMIK Budi Darma MedanKeywords: STMIK Budi Darma, Marketing Strategy, K-Modes Algorithm.
