Background: With the declaration of the new coronavirus (COVID ‐ 19) pandemic, which was detected in the Wuhan region of China and later seen in many countries of the world, education and training were significantly affected in all countries, and distance education started to be used in all areas of education. To this end, students can exhibit cyberloafing behaviors during distance education for various reasons. Thus, this study aims to determine the levels of cyberloafing and the factors affecting these behaviors of students studying in health programs during distance education. Methods: In this descriptive study, 405 students studying in the health programs of various private and public universities in Turkey and met the criteria for inclusion in the study formed the research sample. Results: When the students’ tools to access distance education during the pandemic process were compared, it was found that students using computers had higher levels of cyberloafing activities than those using other tools (p<0,05). Conclusions: Distance education keeps students connected to technological tools, increases the risk of engaging in activities irrelevant to the course, and thus leads them to exhibit cyberloafing behaviors. <P>Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Baha'i, Jewish, and Christian organizations are all experimenting with distance education for various reasons and to different extents, due to religious, economic, and political factors. Religious institutions worldwide are not only turning to the World Wide Web (WWW) to place information concerning religious beliefs and provide virtual services for their constituents but are also getting more involved in formally educating their members at a distance. The pandemic is a reality that is present in Brazil and in the world and that required restructuring from all sectors of society and education was no different. With the suspension of in-person classes, remote and distance education was adopted by legislation. Schools, both private and public, throughout the country, began to adopt this form of study, so that students could continue to receive classes at their homes.

Abstract Background Professional satisfaction of health professional students can impact on their medical professional achievement. Understanding the professional satisfaction of health professional students and identifying its relative factors is beneficial to strengthen the professionalism education of health professional students, and provide solid foundation for future medical achievements. Methods A self-made questionnaire was used to survey undergraduate students of six medical universities in Hebei province. The survey included three aspects: students’ basic situation, professional selection and cognition, and basic situation of colleges. The Kruskal–Wallis H test was used to compare the professional satisfaction of students with different characteristics. All covariates were used in the ordinal logistics regression analysis to identify the independent factors associated with professional satisfaction. Results A total of 1238 (97.7%) students responded to the questionnaire in the survey, and 66.0% were women. Students with public health majors had decreased satisfaction compared with those with clinical-related majors. Professional satisfaction decreased among women compared with men. The non-first-choice students had lower professional satisfaction compared with the first-choice students. Students who chose their volunteer with the help of others had lower professional satisfaction compared with students who independently chose their volunteer. Students who did not understand the employment status had lower professional satisfaction compared with students who understood the employment status. Students with fewer employment prospects had lower professional satisfaction compared with students with bright employment prospects. Students generally dissatisfied with the canteen had lower professional satisfaction compared with students satisfied with the canteen. Students who were very satisfied or satisfied with teaching levels were more likely to have professional satisfaction. Conclusions The professional satisfaction of health professional undergraduates in Hebei province is high. Employment-related aspects and university environment influence professional satisfaction including canteens, understanding of employment status, teachers’ teaching level, etc., which are the main factors affecting professional satisfaction, but the factors such as student employment prospects and majors cannot be changed in the current environment.

Introduction As the world increasingly diversifies, there is a need to prepare nurses to care for individuals, families, and communities with contrasting lifeways. Although education about cultural humility is needed, there is no way to measure the construct. The purpose of this study was to develop, validate, and psychometrically test an instrument designed to measure cultural humility. Method The lead author extracted key constructs from previous research to develop the instrument. Six expert faculty validated the instrument. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted with 322 health professional students. Results All items had an item content validity index of 0.83 or higher. The factor analysis yielded three factors: context for difference in perspective, self-attributes, and outcomes of cultural humility. The instrument was determined reliable (Cronbach’s alpha = .85). Discussion Foronda’s Cultural Humility Scale may help researchers better operationalize and evaluate achievement of cultural humility.


The Internet is one of the most prominent discoveries in the world today. The move of most businesses and establishment to the online platform has been witnessed increasingly. Education is not left out of this development and the government of Saudi Arabia has been reported in several studies to have dedicated to providing the citizens with the best educational option. Studies have also shown that Saudi Arabia has embraced majorly the on-ground method of education given that most students are not intrigued by the idea of online education even though they find it preferable. Several studies have however been carried out on the perception of students of distance education. This 2020 study brings to light the perception of teachers in schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia by obtaining a group data. The study showed that teachers positively perceive the method of education but do not have enough resources and training to properly handle teaching through the method. The government is thereby pleaded with to help improve the accessibility of students and training of staff in necessary basics concerning the method of education.

The Covid 19 virus epidemic, which is the greatest danger of the 21st century, has significantly affected the way of life in the world. Scientists do their best to prevent the epidemic. They emphasize that the trio of mask, distance and cleaning will be sufficient. The epidemic, which emerged in China and negatively affected almost all countries in the world in almost every field, has also adversely affected the field of education. The education and training process in schools was suspended temporarily. Due to reasons such as the epidemic could not be stopped and prevented, starting from March 2020, some countries decided to continue their education in distance education environments in order to prevent children and young people from being harmed in their education and training processes. With the rapid transition to the distance education process, almost the entire education process has entered the digitalization process. The biggest share behind the management of the process called “emergency distance education” belongs to teachers. Teachers also use digital media in this process. They changed the way of communication with the students, their teaching methods, and the materials they used. Teachers are in the global epidemic process, they took part in the forefront of education to continue. Although they were caught unprepared for the situation, they carried out various studies to make the process effective. During this period, various concerns and expectations arose among the teachers, who always made an effort, in terms of using technology. With this research, the attitudes of teachers towards distance education, the problems teachers experience during this period, and accordingly the development of their technology use skills and the current situation in evaluating the process in educational environments have been revealed. This study, which was conducted by taking the opinions of the teachers who work in Ankara and selected by random sampling method, is in the case study design, one of the qualitative research methods. The data obtained from the teachers were analyzed by content analysis method. In general, the teachers who participated in the study shared the situations they experienced during this process.

The data analysistechnique in this study is an interactiveanalysis consisting of data reduction, datapresentation and conclusion drawing.Check the validity of the data using sourcetriangulation and method triangulation.
