The low interest in reading our society greatly affects the quality of the Indonesian nation, because with the low interest in reading it cannot know and follow the development of science and information in the world. With the library, it can give students an "opiate taste" and bring about new habits, namely reading. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The research location which is the main focus in collecting data is SD Negeri 1 in Pamengkang village, located in Mundu District, Cirebon Regency. Primary data is data obtained directly from informants such as school principals, teachers, students, and library staff. Secondary data used such as school archives, and other documents that can support the completeness of primary data. Data collection techniques is a way that researchers do in obtaining data. As for this study researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of the study show that the Utilization of School Libraries in Increasing Interest in Reading in SDN 1 Pamengkang, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency has carried out several efforts, but it has not yet run as expected, due to several factors, namely the state of the library, both from collections, facilities, and also not having librarians, so the library walk improperly following the existing path. Keywords: utilization; library; interest in reading Abstrak Rendahnya minat baca masyarakat kita sangat mempengaruhi kualitas bangsa Indonesia, sebab dengan rendahnya minat baca maka tidak bisa mengetahui dan mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan informasi di dunia. Dengan adanya perpustakaan dapat memberikan “rasa candu” pada peserta didik dan memunculkan new habits yakni membaca. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian yang menjadi fokus utama dalam mengumpulkan data adalah di SD Negeri 1 di desa Pamengkang yang terletak di Kecamatan Mundu Kabupaten Cirebon.  Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh langsung dari informan seperti kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan tenaga perpustakaan. Data sekunder yang digunakan seperti seperti arsip-arsip sekolah, serta dokumen lainnya yang dapat menunjang kelengkapan dari data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data merupakan cara yang dilakukan peneliti dalam memperoleh data. Adapun dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Upaya Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Minat Baca di SDN 1 Pamengkang Kecamatan Mundu Kabupaten Cirebon sudah menjalankan beberapa upaya akan tetapi belum berjalan sesuai harapan, disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu keadaan perpustakan baik dari koleksi, sarana, dan juga belum mempunyai pustakawan sehingga perpustakaan berjalan seadanya mengikuti alur yang ada.  Kata Kunci: pemanfaatan; perpustakaan; minat baca

This study aims to reveal and formulate Javanese philosophical values and philosophical foundations in Serat Centhini. It was a qualitative descriptive study. The data source was the Serat Centhini text. The research steps included data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data were analyzed using the hermeneutic and heuristic techniques. The findings are as follows. First, Javanese philosophical values in Serat Centhini are reflected in Javanese cultural contents and philosophy reflecting the Javanese society when Serat Centhini was written. The Javanese philosophy in Serat Centhiniis reflected by the life perfection value (ngudi kasampurnan) and the philosophy of origin and destination (sangkan paraning dumadi). Second, the philosophy in Serat Centhini is reflected in the ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundations.

The study aims at evaluating the school principal renewals management to improve teachers competence at SMP Negeri 1 Arga Makmur Bengkulu Utara regency. The study was an evaluative descriptive study. The subjects were the school principal, teachers and staffs. The techniques to collect the data were questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted through four components including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification. The finding showed that the school principal renewals management was in 'good' category with score ranges between 51- 62 out of the total score 75. In conclusion, the school principal renewals management was successful to improve teachers competence, particularly the competence of pedagogy, personality, social,  and professional. AbstractThis research was a descriptive study, using a qualitative method approach. The main instrument in this study was the researcher himself and assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, cameras and tape recorders. Data collection techniques were carried out by official data, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps data analysis were data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the research showed that, in the practicing process of talempong creation at Saandiko Studio, the trainer was very good at providing the Implementation of Talempong Creation Playing Skills at Saandiko Studio. It also proved that the trainer succeeded in providing training to studio members by using several methods, namely by applying the lecture, demonstration and drill method, so the trainer's aim to develop the skills of the studio members produced excellent talent in playing talempong creationKeyword: application, skill, talempong creations

The Impact

political polemic and crisis in Beirut has been marked by various actions. The emergence of public aspirations led to tragedy. The occurring of bomb incident as a result of building burning that contained 2,750 tons of Ammonium Nitrate. It can be concrete evidence that freedom in Beirut is at stake. This tragedy caused 100 victims were died and thousands people were injured. This phenomenon made many society from aroun the world contribute to express Beirut’s freedom including Josep Harb through his poetry entitle “li Beirut”. This study aims to describe nationalism form in li Beirut poetry based on Norman Fairclough’s theory, and show its impact on natinalism’s reader as literary connoisseurs. This study is a qualitative descriptive that came from li Beirut poetry by Joseph Harb and supported by related literatures. Data collection are coming from reading and taking notes techniques. Analysis techniques are based on Miles and Huberman model that contained data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that portrait of nationalism in li Beirut poetry are expressions of love and praising for Beirut, also compassions and hopes for Beirut. The impact that has an effect on readers' nationalism is an attitude of prioritizing unity and brotherhood, as well as an optimistic attitude to improve the nation.

Abstract: Reading is opening the window of the world, finding lots of knowledge and opening up one's insights. So reading is the most important thing in education, but the fact is children's interest in reading, especially in Indonesia is still very minimal. This study aims to find out how parenting was developed by parents of students who excel at the As-Shafa Islamic Elementary School in Pekanbaru, Riau in increasing children's reading interest. The research method used in this study was qualitative phenomenology, data collection was carried out through interviews and interactive documentation in three components of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results obtained in the study that the majority of parents of outstanding students are busy working but still taking the time to give love, protection, guidance, accompany children in learning, direction and education in daily life. While the patterns found are mostly using democratic and situational patterns. This research suggests that parents maintain the quality of attachment with children and spend a lot of time in accompanying them to learn.
