The core target of multifocal IOLs implantation is to provide advanced visual quality at different distances without spectacle or contact lenses that can be valuable when monofocal IOLs are implanted. Patients with monofocal IOLs need spectacles or contact lenses for the near and intermediate distance's vision. Multifocal intraocular lenses due to the optical part construction provide spectacle independence for patients in the postoperative period. The aim of this review was to analyze the modern approach to the several aspects of multifocal intraocular correction: spectacle independence, dysphotopsia, patient satisfaction. Patients’ questionnaire after surgery provides the data for evaluation of the quality of life, vision satisfaction at all range of distances on different levels of illumination, and patient activities of daily living. During the long period, a photic phenomenon (dysphotopsia) had been discussed in the literature as the principal reason for decrease of patients satisfaction with the treatment and lens explantation. Recently, high grade of spectacle independence and low risk of photic phenomena after modern multifocal IOLs implantation determine high-level patient satisfaction after cataract surgery. Multifocal intraocular correction is the effective technology for restoring passive accommodation that the wide range of the clinical studies proved. This review analyzes 33 studies (32 clinical studies and 1 metaanalisis) published in international peer-reviewed targeted titles.

Abstract We conducted a one-year prospective, multicenter study to assess clinical outcomes after implantation of segmented, rotationally asymmetric multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) with +1.5 diopters (D) near addition. In this phase III clinical trial, 120 eyes of 65 patients undergoing phacoemulsification and implantation of Lentis Comfort LS-313 MF15 (Oculentis GmbH) were included. The ophthalmological examinations were performed before and 1 day, 1 week, 1, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months after surgery. Uncorrected (UDVA) and corrected (CDVA) distance visual acuity, uncorrected (UIVA) and distance-corrected (DCIVA) intermediate visual acuity at 70 cm, and uncorrected (UNVA) and distance-corrected (DCNVA) near visual acuity at 30 cm were measured. A defocus curve was obtained and patients were asked about the severity of photic phenomena. Postoperative distance and intermediate visual acuity was excellent, with UDVA, CDVA, UIVA, and DCIVA of approximately 20/20, 20/16, 20/25, 20/25 were attained, respectively. The level of near visual acuity was lower; UNVA and DCNVA remained at around 20/60 and 20/70, respectively. The defocus curve indicated that postoperative uncorrected visual acuity of 20/25 and 20/40 was obtained at as close as 67 cm and 50 cm, respectively. Contrast sensitivity was within the normal range, with a minimal level of subjective symptoms and high patient satisfaction. The rotationally asymmetric multifocal IOLs with +1.5 D near addition provided excellent distance and intermediate vision, but near vision was not enough for reading small prints. Contrast sensitivity was high, with very low incidences of photic phenomena and a high level of patient satisfaction.

Bangladesh government has initiated a project with the title of "Revitalization of Community Health Care Initiatives in Bangladesh (RCHCIB)" to further develop the Community Clinics (CCs) and strengthen their operations in delivering primary health care. Measuring patient satisfaction with CC service users can play an important role in developing quality care. The objectives of this study were to measure patient satisfaction with CC through facility (CC) based survey and to measure overall patient satisfaction with CC through household based survey. The overall mean patient satisfaction score was 3.7 ± 1.0 and 2.4 ± 1.1 for facility based survey and household based survey, respectively. Policy and strategy should be done to increase quality of care resulting high level of patient satisfaction to service provided at CCs. The article presents the results of a dynamic analysis of the satisfaction of patients diagnosed with CAVID‑19 with the quality of medical services provided remotely at the telemedicine centre in Moscow in 2020.Purpose of research. Conduct a dynamic assessment of patient satisfaction with the quality of remote medical services provided in different time periods.Material and methods. The results of an anonymous survey of 424 patients on the quality of remote medical services were dynamically evaluated. The first group (138) received medical care from 01.04 to 30.04, the second one (286) – from 01.06 to 30.06 of 2020 after the implementation of measures to improve them. Statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0.Results. When analysing the results, a high level of patient satisfaction was revealed, but there was a significant (p < 0.05) difference in the level of satisfaction between the groups. The factors of connection between telemedicine services and patient satisfaction were identified, which served as the basis for organizational measures.Conclusion. Providing medical services using telemedicine technologies can be considered as one of the most effective ways to provide medical care.

Purpose: To compare objective image quality at distant, intermediate, and near foci with the corresponding visual acuity (VA) in patients symmetrically implanted with 5 different diffractive multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) (ReSTOR SV25T0, Tecnis ZKB00, Tecnis ZLB00, AT LISA 809, and AT LISA Tri 839MP) and a monofocal lens (Tecnis ZA9003) 3 months after cataract intervention. Methods: Objective image quality, measured as the area under the modulation transfer function curve (AMTF), was tested in vitro in an eye model. In addition, corrected distance visual acuity and distance-corrected intermediate and near visual acuities (DCIVA and DCNVA) were assessed in a group of 79 patients, randomly implanted with one of the lenses. Results: Image quality and VA at the distant focus was good for all lens designs, but was similarly compromised at the intermediate focus, where the best DCIVA corresponded to the low add ZKB00. At the near focus, the monofocal lens and the distance dominant SV25T0 had the worst AMTF values, with the ZLB00 presenting the best DCNVA. The relationship between AMTF and VA was found not to be linear, with VA being similarly good for AMTF values over a certain threshold. Conclusions: Visual acuity of pseudophakic patients reflected the optical quality of the specific IOL design within a certain range of measurements, beyond which maximum VA is limited by other ocular, optical, and neuropsychophysical factors.

El objetivo principal de este estudio es estimular el interés público por el campeonato LaLiga. Para ello, se propone un sistema de clasificación alternativo que utiliza variables derivadas de la lógica interna del fútbol y la calidad de los distintos equipos. Aplicando el índice de concordancia de Kendall, las dos clasificaciones se compararon partido a partido, demostrando la viabilidad del nuevo modelo con distintos niveles de competitividad. Las propiedades y limitaciones del modelo fueron comparadas con el modelo empleado actualmente en LaLiga. Proporcionar un proceso que tenga en cuenta la amplia gama de calidad de los equipos que juegan en LaLiga es una alternativa destinada a fomentar la competitividad del campeonato. The ranking of LaLiga championship for the 2008/09 season was one of the poorest ever in terms of uncertainty. The main aim of this study is to stimulate public interest in the Spanish League championship. To achieve this, an alternative ranking system is proposed using variables derived from soccer’s internal logic and the quality of the various teams. Applying Kendall’s index of concordance, the two rankings were compared play by play demonstrating the viability of the new model, with different levels of competitiveness. The properties and limitations of the model were compared with the one currently used by LaLiga. Providing a process which makes allowances for the wide range of quality of the teams playing in LaLiga is an alternative intended to foment the competitiveness of the championship.

A global imperative that is especially relevant for Ukraine in view of the social, environmental and economic challenges of sustainable development is to ensure sustainable development. Therefore, addressing the topic of prospects for the development of infrastructure in the country's regions, given the fact that Ukraine is currently moving towards the implementation of a wide range of reforms aimed at improving the welfare of the population is a very important topic. First, because the components of the infrastructure are the main principles of quality of life, which affect the level of satisfaction of citizens. Secondly, a highly developed infrastructure complex is able to bring the country to a whole new European level of development. In terms of infrastructure development, the following priority areas are: housing and communal services, transport and communications, medicine, education, recreation system, ecology, social security, culture, as the most important systems that ensure the gradual sustainable development of each region, and the country as a whole. Despite the sufficient attention of state and regional authorities to the development of infrastructure in many regions of the country, there are still problems of existing infrastructure facilities, such as - educational, cultural, sports, medical, preschool educational institutions and schools, hospitals, etc. The degree of wear of which sometimes reaches 60%. In addition, there are problems with the provision of urban and regional transport to meet the existing needs of residents of the city and its remote areas, which provokes significant time to travel, and so on. In general, the quality of most social infrastructure facilities leaves much to be desired, which determines the high degree of relevance of the topic of this article. The article analyzes the current state of educational institutions, health care and transport infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region, identifies urgent problems. In addition, the problems of the development of transport infrastructure (insufficient number of transport units, its unsatisfactory technical condition, frequent breakdowns, high level of wear, etc.) are highlighted, which requires taking measures to increase the level of accessibility and comfort of transport in the region.

Purpose – The purpose of this study was to research how the reassembly (remanufacturing assembly) achieves a quality that is not lower than original production with different precision remanufactured parts based on the integration of mechanics, mathematics (measurement uncertainty) and management (optional classification). Remanufactured product quality is the soul of the remanufacturing project. Design/methodology/approach – First, this paper studies the recycled parts features and reassembly features. Then, we build the mathematical sub-model with remanufactured parts and dimensional precision, which is proven that optional classification can effectively improve the reassembly accuracy mathematically. The optimization model of optional classification for reassembly is proposed under the constraint of a dimensional chain, and the solutions are studied based on particle swarm optimization. Finally, this method is applied in a remanufacturing enterprise and achieves good results. Findings – The method can reduce the cost of quality loss and improve the quality of remanufactured products. Originality/value – It provides a new solution and idea for reassembly with different precision remanufactured parts and promotes the healthy development of reverse logistics with a high level of customer satisfaction. This method can maximize the use of different levels of quality remanufactured parts and improve reassembly accuracy by mathematical proofs and examples.
