Objectively and reliably determined indicators of rheological properties of the dough were identified using the alveograph device to create a system of classifications of wheat and flour from it for the intended purpose in the future. The analysis of the relationship of standardized quality indicators, as well as newly developed indicators for identifying them, differentiating the quality of wheat flour for the intended purpose, i.e. for finished products. To do this, we use mathematical statistics methods.

‘Archive’ is a totality of records, layers and memories that are collected. A city is the archive that consists of the conscious selection of these layers and traces of the past and the present, looking towards the future. Metaxourgio is an area in the wider historic urban area of Keramikos in Athens that includes traces of various eras, beginning in the Antiquity and continuing all the way into the 21st century. Its archaeological space ‘Demosion Sema’ is mostly concealed under the ground level, waiting to be revealed. In this proposal, Metaxourgio is redesigned in light of archiving. Significant traces of the Antiquity, other ruins and buildings are studied, selected and incorporated in the new interventions. The area becomes the ‘open archive’ that leads towards its lost identity. The proposal aims not only to intensify the relationship of architecture with archaeology, but also to imbue the area’s identity with meanings that refer to the past, present and future.

An extended approach to the comprehension of virtual reality is developed in the article. Virtual reality is understood not only as a logically possible or cybernetically constructed reality but also as continuous turbulence of potencies of the complex natural and social world we live in, the wandering of complex systems and organizations over a field of possibilities, such a realization of forms and structures in which many formations remain in latent, potential forms, and are in the permanent process of making and multiplying a spectrum of possibilities, lead to the growth of the evolutionary tree of paths of development. It is shown that such an understanding of virtual reality corresponds to concepts and notions developed in the modern science of complexity. The most significant concepts are considered, such as the nonlinearity of time, the relationship of space and time, the uncertainty of the past and the openness of the future, the choice and construction of the future at the moments of passing the bifurcation points. Some cultural and historical prototypes of these modern ideas of virtual reality are given. It is substantiated that the vision of virtual reality being developed today can play the role of a heuristic tool for understanding the functioning and stimulation of human creativity.

Explains the curricula included in the proposed higher education of the future rulers: arithmetic, geometry, stereometry, astronomy, harmony, and dialectic. Once again addresses questions of what Plato thought about mathematical objects and how he talks about these in Book VII of the Republic. Considers debates about just how and why Plato assigned such an important role to mathematical studies in the training of the power of knowledge for the future rulers. Considers the relationship of “formal” as opposed to “empirical” study, particularly in Plato’s requirement of astronomy as the penultimate mathematical study. Discusses what we can discern about Plato’s conception of dialectic and how that fits as the final element in the “highest studies” that prepare the future rulers to begin to engage in political rule. Shows how in spite of these studies culminating in the highest cognitive achievements, they must be followed by fifteen years of political apprenticeship, and why only after this training can Plato’s best students become philosopher rulers.

Information technology (IT) has become a strategic resource for many firms today. Coordination of this resource requires strong leadership and cooperation within the firm. The relationship of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is crucial for the effective, successful utilization of IT for competitive advantage. This paper first explores the CIO position, giving reasons for its development, tracing its evolution, and pinpointing certain responsibilities associated with the position. The paper then highlights the CIO's concerns and identifies the future implications for the CIO. The second portion of the paper takes the CEO's perspective towards IT and the CIO's position. Special attention is directed towards describing the CEO's perspective on the CIO's qualifications, addressing the problem of overblown CEO expectations for the CIO position, and discussing ‘old-line’ CEOs’ attitudes towards IT and the CIO position. Also addressed is the exploration of the common CEO perception of the CIO as an ‘empire builder’ and an analysis of the CEO's perspective on the future need for a CIO position. Finally the paper focuses on developing this ‘strategic partnership’ between the CIO and the CEO. Suggestions are provided for the CIO and the CEO to help achieve this ideal partnership. Although these suggestions are not all conclusive, they are critical to the ‘partnership’.

The Glasgow School of Art has a long history of the cultivation of the art of drawing. Many types of drawing have been taught and practiced within the institution since its establishment in 1845. Mackintosh's Glasgow School of Art building, completed between 1897 and 1909, can be seen as one great outcome of that design-through-tradition. The building not only sheltered and thus enabled a further cultivation of the art of drawing, but became itself a model for the practices of that drawing tradition. There is a strong body of work, much of it by teachers and students of the Mackintosh School of Architecture, which has focussed on the building and explored through drawing the architectonic features and significance of the structure. This work has been useful as a teaching and critical aid but also as a contribution to the art and discipline of architecture. In the wake of the first 2014 fire, which destroyed part of the building, this body of work suddenly became of use as a design tool rather than simply an exploratory or critical tool, as the institution sought to reproduce exactly what had been lost. The most recent 2018 fire wreaked a destruction much more comprehensive across the whole building. Accordingly, we are forced to completely review the relationship of that drawing heritage to the building. That is to say, the building largely no longer exists, and the drawings take on a life of their own in a way not previously attached to them. The school may, however, be rebuilt, recreated ‘as was’ at some point in the future, potentially instigating yet another type of relationship between the existing drawing work and a new ‘Mackintosh’ building.

AbstractBiofeedback instrumentation has been a growing part of physical therapy practice for 20 years, and physical therapists have contributed to researching its efficacy in treating varying conditions. The application of biofeedback to the treatment of stroke was marked by some early difficulties with the quality of the electronics, but sophisticated contemporary equipment can do much more than was originally envisioned. The importance of relating quantified movement-based data to functional measures is projected as a high priority if appropriate reimbursement for physical therapy services with biofeedback is to continue in the future.

Marion also reflects on the relationship of philosophy to history, theology, aesthetics, and literature. The dialogues include discussions of all of his books and present their central arguments in easily comprehensible fashion. They show the overall unity of his work in terms of its focus on giveness, the gift, and the event.

This study examines the relationship of agricultural education in encouraging work participation in agriculture which in turn can increase the aggregate income of people who work in agriculture as indicated by an increase in Employment Income in Agriculture in Indonesia. To achieve this goal, the Quantitative Threshold Autoregressive method is used to predict the behavior of the data so that the behavior of the relationship between the data can be seen and can be seen the growth of community income and work participation in agriculture with education as the driving factor. The hope is that knowing past behavior data can be an indicator of decisions that can be taken in the future. We found that Education in agriculture is an effort to increase human resources in agriculture. Agriculture with a lot of potentials needs to be empowered and developed. Where agriculture can absorb labor and improve welfare in Indonesia.

One of the intersections of the video games and cinema industry is the subject of adaptation. There are many productions adapted from movies to video games or from video games to movies. In this study, it is aimed to define the response of the films adapted from video games on the audience side. The audience and the actor are part of these adapted productions, their location plays a role in shaping the future of these productions, in this context the results obtained in this study are valuable in terms of expressing the potential of these productions. In this study, two different methods were used to achieve objective results; Online survey with 11 professionals in the cinema industry and cinema education, an analysis of the data collected from the criticism sites on www.imdb.com and www.metascore.com, and the comments of registered users. With the analysis of these comments obtained from the audience, the focus of the audience has been determined, and with the answers given by the people who have received cinema education or professionals who are professional in the cinema sector, information has been provided on both the foresight and the situation in it. These methods are analyzed within themselves and in the conclusion part, the results of the two methods are combined. As a result, it is that the audience evaluates these films without separating them from the game and they wish that this cooperation will continue to develop and continue. It has been determined that failed film samples are not decisive for video games. Although the audience thinks that this genre will develop, more successful results will be achieved, it has been understood that the feeling of being active in the game is more dominant to the feeling of being passive in the movie. It was seen that the relationship of the audience with the films was video game centered, and the emotions he felt in the game and the details of the game were also looked for in the inner structure of the film.
