The purpose of this research is to analyze how organizational commitment and work motivation can improve teacher performance especially in case study from teachers in SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. The study used a pre-validated survey instrument to measure the perceptions of 50 teachers about affective commitment, normative commitment, and sustainability commitments, as well as their motivation and performance in schools. A multiple regression equation is used to assess the effect of organizational commitment and work motivation on performance and prove whether or not there is a relationship between organizational commitment and work motivation with teacher performance. This study empirically confirms the positive impact of organizational commitment and work motivation on teacher performance which in turn will have a positive impact on school quality.ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana komitmen organisasi dan motivasi kerja dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru terutama dalam studi kasus dari guru-guru di SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the principal's situational leadership on teacher performance; the influence of work motivation on teacher performance; and the influence of the principal's situational leadership on work motivation. The research employed a causal survey research and path analysis technique. The sample of 103 kindergarten teachers of Tanggerang regency was taken by using proportional random sampling. The results have shown that 1) Path coefficient value of the principal’s situational leadership and the teacher performance is 0.440 with the probability significance value ρx3x1  = 0.000. It means that the principal’s situational leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance. 2) Path coefficient value of work motivation and the teacher Performance is 0.166 with the probability significance value ρx3x1 = 0.005. It indicates that work motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance. 3) Path coefficient value of situational leadership and teacher work motivation is 0,598 with probability significance value ρx3x1 = 0.000. It implies that the principal’s situational leadership has a significant effect on work motivation. Based on the research findings, it can be inferred that leadership style has a major role to develop work motivation and performance that have a positive impact on the quality of individuals in an organization

The performance of employees defines the competitive advantage of the company in current ferocious competition, and it affects the long-standing growth of the company. If a company inspires its workforce merely by the means of financial contract, then the company will not be in the position to gain the effective and efficient performances from its employees. Because apart from this financial contract, psychological contract also upsets attitudes and performance of the employees at the workplace. The spirit of the firms is the employees, and the implementation of the psychological contract can effectually decrease the turnover rate of employees and consequently increase their efficiency at the workplace. In the current chapter, first of all an attempt has been made to elucidate the concept and development process of psychological contract. After that it is endeavored to highlight the positive impact of psychological contract on employees' performances such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job performance, organization citizenship behavior, and turnover intentions.

The impact of training, compensation, performance evaluation, and promotion practices have been assessed on affective, normative and continuance commitment of employees via 12 hypotheses. Survey methodology was adopted via using structured questionnaire. A sample of 100 respondents was drawn from the employees working with various branches of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) located in Lahore, Pakistan. Collected data was subjected to Pearson Correlation and Regression analysis. The results of Pearson Correlation matrix demonstrated a positive correlation between HR practices and organizational commitment of employees which confirms all proposed hypotheses. Regression results showed a significant positive impact of training and performance evaluation on organizational commitment of employees. However, the significance of compensation and promotional practices could not be proved.

AbstractBackground and Purpose. People with idiopathic loss of shoulder range of motion (ROM) have difficulty completing activities of daily living. This investigation was performed to determine the association between active glenohumeral ROM and function and to develop a multiple regression equation to explain variation in function in people with idiopathic loss of shoulder motion. Subjects and Methods. This was a comparative study of 21 subjects (18 female, 3 male), using measurements of shoulder kinematics and administration of the Shoulder Rating Questionnaire (SRQ). Electromagnetic tracking sensors monitored the 3-dimensional position of the scapula and humerus throughout active shoulder motions. Correlations were performed between the active ROMs of interest and various demographic factors and the SRQ. A multiple regression equation was generated. Results. A multiple regression equation including scapular-plane abduction, external rotation at the side, external rotation at 90 degrees of abduction, and weight explained 69% of the variation in the SRQ scores. Discussion and Conclusion. The results suggest that active ROM can be used to predict function in people with idiopathic loss of shoulder ROM.

Using an 11-variable multiple regression equation to compute the “natural” rainfall, it is concluded that commercial cloud seeding during 1950–54 in three north central Oregon counties failed to produce departures in precipitation which are statistically significant at the 5 per cent level of acceptance.
