The approbation showed that the level of cognitive activity, independence and creativity in children increased significantly; children learned to interact better with each other. For children attending the CMP, the adaptation process when entering kindergarten proceeds as successfully, quickly and painlessly as possible. A genuine interest in the activities of children in kindergarten was shown by parents, who became more interested in how to properly organize the upbringing and educational process at home. Parents themselves gradually began to get involved in the educational process. The kindergarten has become a place for them where they can receive qualified help. Trust in teachers has grown, a desire to discuss with them the problems of raising children.

The current ecological state of the environment determines the relevance of environmental education for the younger generation. The problem of ecological upbringing of children of preschool age is considered in the researches of many scholars and teachers. Based on the study of scientific works, we identified three structural components of the formation of natural and ecological competence of preschool children: cognitive, activity and value-motivational. American scientists, studying the problem of children's attitude to nature, offer the concept of «biofilia» and «biophobia». The scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «pedagogical technology» are generalized and formulated as the creation of an optimally organized educational process, developed on the basis of a systematic approach and aimed at the planned result. It is proved that for the formation of natural and ecological competence of preschool children, it is necessary to use traditional and non-traditional pedagogical technologies in order to implement systematic and targeted educational impact on children, using current methods. Studying the peculiarities of the formation of the ecological and natural competence of preschool children, the necessity of creation and proper use of developing ecological environment in pre-school establishments, organization of children's activities in nature, as well as systematic work with children was clarified. The experience of using pedagogical technologies for the ecological upbringing of preschool children, in particular the creation of an ecological footprint, the technology of regional studies and tourism activities, the experimental research activity of preschoolers in nature and the technology of using the author's fairy tale, which allows raising the level of ecological upbringing of preschoolers and forming the natural and ecological competence of a preschool child, is briefly highlighted. The analysis of the experience of using environmental technologies from different countries proves that the main task of preschool education is to promote environmental education and awareness of preschool children.

The named areas of speech and general develop-ment of preschool children contribute to their preparation for learning to read in elementary school. The urgent problem of ensuring the continuity of preschool and primary education in the issue of teaching preschoolers and primary schoolchildren in initial reading is posed. The possibili-ties of using various methods of teaching initial reading, depending on the writing system, are ana-lyzed. Conclusions on the problem under study are associated with the development of phonemic hearing, the formation of a broad orientation of children in linguistic reality, with the skills of sound analysis and synthesis. The novelty of the research is the idea of the possibility of special training and teaching older preschoolers to initial reading based on the development of a value attitude to language and speech during preschool childhood, on the basis of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics. Доказывается, что учебник географии играет важную роль в формировании географического мировоззрения школьников, способствует достижению личностных, метапредметных и предметных результатов обучения. На основе анализа состояния школьного российского географического образования выявлены пути модернизации учебников географии. A critical analysis of modern school textbooks on geography is given in the article. The analysis is related to the compliance of the Federal state educational standard of basic General education with the following requirements: methodological, psychological, aesthetic and hygienic. The presented positive aspects of geography textbooks were identified: wellbuilt methodological apparatus; colorful design, the presence of maps, schemes, diagrams, drawings; a system of questions and tasks aimed at organizing independent cognitive activity of pupils through the use of research methods; integration of physical-geographical and economic-geographical branches of geography. The authors of the article revealed the given below negative points in geography textbooks: simplification of scientific geographical information; insufficient description of physical-geographical processes in solving practical problems; lack of connection between the simplified theory of initial courses of geography and practical tasks that are given in Russian exams (the Basic State Exam and the Unified State Exam) in geography; incomplete reflection of the local history approach. Specific examples from existing geography textbooks were provided to confirm the established disadvantages. The national project «Digital school» was reviewed. This project suggests using geography textbooks in the educational process together with other teaching tools, including digital ones. Thus, the geography textbook plays an essential role in shaping the geographical outlook of pupils. In addition, textbooks contribute to the achievement of personal, metasubject and subject learning outcomes. Ways to modernize geography textbooks were defined based on the analysis of the state of Russian school geographical education, namely, the converting textbooks to digital format using interactive applications, videos, demonstrations of experiments and observations, electronic maps and electronic test tasks.
