One of the modern trends in both formal and corporate education is microlearning which involves using short videos in educational process. Microlearning has a variety of advantages including that this approach is more student-oriented, aimed at increasing the level of mastering knowledge, requires less time spent by students for learning, gives a possibility to study at any time and anywhere using own devices, increases motivation etc. The article deals with methodological aspects of creating educational video materials taking into account psychological peculiarities and learning habits of modern students. Video materials belong to the most powerful tools in educational process as they provide students with the possibility of simultaneous perception of auditory and visual information. Video materials must be strictly structured and involve students into learning process, in particular they could be included into different sources of electronic learning courses (ELC). There are different types of videos that are used in ELC such as introductory video, video lectures, video tutorials, additional video materials, interactive video. In spite of content variety all video materials undergo the same procedure of creation including dividing material into logically finished parts, notions definition, writing content questions, components structuring etc. Recording of a video must be a thoroughly planned process to ensure high quality of outcoming product. The article also deals with peculiarities of webinars as one of the possibilities of using video materials in educational process of higher educational institutions. Different types of webinars are analysed including tutorial webinar, lecture webinar, practical webinar. The problem of ensuring equal access to quality higher education and a supportive learning environment for people with permanent disabilities is a question of present interest worldwide. It is well known that although the number of students with special educational needs in higher education has increased over the last 10 years, many of them fail to complete educational level because of the many difficulties and barriers they face during their studies. It is quite natural to look for ways to create adequate conditions for their training and to overcome obstacles and difficulties that have arisen. Over the last decade, there has been a trend towards an increasing use of modern information and communication technologies, and in particular electronic learning resources, in the educational process, which creates prerequisites for increasing the accessibility of education for students with special educational needs. It also provides significantly more opportunities in the field of flexibility, adaptability and opportunities for personalization to the individual needs, interests and learning style of each individual learner. Undoubtedly, this is an important condition for achieving greater self-dependence and independence in learning, which in turn are crucial for the successful learning and academic achievement of students with special educational needs. It is important for the teaching staff to have knowledge of the specific needs of this heterogeneous group of students and the skills to create and adequately deliver the content through quality electronic resources, as well as to critically evaluate and select those created by other authors. This report presents a study of the problem of implementation of electronic resources by the tutors of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in the process of teaching students with different types of disorders. A survey of 199 faculty members from different faculties found that the faculties had some experience in creating and adapting electronic resources, as well as using those created by other authors, but despite the high level of digital skills there are deficiencies in the knowledge of professors in training disabled students and in the availability of sufficient technological skills and competences for developing e-content intended to meet the specifics needs of students with different disabilities. The results of the study will help to make specific decisions at institutional level to support and enhance the qualifications of the academic staff of the Sofia University to use electronic resources in the specific context of teaching students with different types of disabilities. The report outlines future areas of study in the field of these issues and underlines specific current problems that need to be addressed.

The modern sociocultural environment puts forward requirements for ensuring equal opportunities for vocational education for active members of the society. The established requirements for the organization of the educational process in mixed groups, including normo-typical students and students with disabilities, indicate the need to search for new methodological approaches to ensure the successful implementation of vocational education. The article highlights the problem of choosing didactic components of practice-oriented content for teaching students with disabilities. The aim of the work was to identify the principles of new didactics, which make it possible to adapt the structure of basic design education to the special educational needs of students and to optimally organize educational activities in a mixed group without losing the quality of professional development and an increase in general competencies. The article provides some of the fundamental meanings of design practice, which make it possible to find permits for the introduction of inclusive methods in the system of special-purpose training programs. The approaches to the formulation of combined tasks are disclosed that allow the variability of equivalent design solutions of different levels of complexity. New approaches to the choice of methodological and didactic techniques were determined in the course of a pedagogical experiment, using elements of a longitudinal study. The author gives examples from the experience of training students in secondary vocational education in mixed groups, points out aspects that have a particular impact on the achievement of equal positive results by students, names the methods of formulating practical tasks that minimize the difference in time spent by students with different abilities. The conclusion about a sufficient basis for the chosen direction of methodological and didactic support was made on the basis of signs of positive dynamics of mastering the techniques of project design activity by students with disabilities.

Presented is enlarged didactic units developed by P.M. Erdniev for teaching mathematics, that improves the ability of students to understand educational material. This effect is achieved as a result of organizing the educational process according to the principles of complementarity of teaching methods and the spatial and temporal combination of interrelated elements of knowledge. Among the basic mathematical disciplines taught at Bauman Moscow State Technical University for students with disabilities the most difficult discipline is Linear Algebra, which is due to its content and various problems with students’ health. Linear Algebra is largely based on the theory from Analytical Geometry that is quite well perceived by students with disabilities. A comparative analysis of these disciplines shows that the enlarged didactic units linking these disciplines together can significantly simplify the study of Linear Algebra. However, due to difficulties with scheduling the time gap between these disciplines can be up to two semesters, which makes it impossible to directly use the enlarged didactic units. To solve this problem, we introduce the supporting discipline "Cognitive technologies for supporting the discipline Linear Algebra" which runs in parallel with Linear Algebra and which is based on the material of Analytical Geometry. Forming its content in close connection with Linear Algebra in accordance with the main principles of the enlarged didactic units, we smoothly lead students to the understanding of abstract concepts of Linear Algebra, reducing the complexity of learning.

In the article a newly created questionnaire intended for older schoolchildren – “evaluate the teacher and his lessons” is introduced. The theoretical and practical context of the instrument based on 87 primary questions is named, the dimensional structure and metrological quality of the formed integrated scales and sub-scales is presented. The scales and sub-scales were formed following the classical test theory, combining logical and factorial validation. The secondary sub-scale factorization has indicated that it is expedient to distinguish between two integrated lesson dimensions (scales). The first integrated scale reflects the quality of social relations and teacher-centered orientation. The second scale reflects the management and didactics of the educational process. High correlation between the evaluations of integrated scales (r = 0.86) indicates that a generalized integrated index of evaluation of the teacher and his lesson can be derived by aggregating even 81 primary variables defining the most various aspects of the lesson. In the article the basis of statistic norming of the questionnaire possessed at present is described: Nschool children = 4024 and Nteachers = 200 which encompasses schools of different types from various regions of the country. The wide coverage of the content of created questionnaire, quite good quality of the scales opens good opportunities for its application in both the practice of schools evaluation and research. First of all, the methodical purpose of the article has been to introduce a new standardized instrument of survey. Secondly, the question why such indicators as “abundance of homework” and “level of the requirements set by the teacher” practically do not correlate with all the remaining scales, although the latter intercorrelate very significantly, is set. In the paper the question (and hypotheses) whether the mentioned variables can truly affect the didactic quality of the lesson counterproductively is elaborated.
