With the help of rheovasography, the condition of the lower extremities was investigated in persons who had suffered a severe injury of the ankle joint in the distant past. The use of dosed physical activity in these surveyed made it possible to reveal the nature of peripheral circulatory disorders. The great informative value of rheovasography data for the examination of the work capacity of patients with the consequences of musculoskeletal system trauma is emphasized.

Introduction. There is a lack of knowledge of the pathophysiological mechanisms that form peripheral nerve disorders in mercury lesions of professional origin. The study aims to reveal the mechanisms underlying peripheral nerve damage in the long-term post-contact period of chronic mercury intoxication (CMI). Materials and methods. Fifty-one people had the diagnosis of a long-term period of CMI. The post-contact period was 8.5±2.6 years. The authors compared the results with a control group of 26 healthy men who had no contact with toxic substances. Stimulating electroneuromyography was performed. We studied the body systems that could contribute to the formation of disorders in the peripheral nerves. Changes in peripheral hemodynamics were studied using reovasography. The content of autoantibodies, neuron-specific enolase, serotonin, histamine, catecholamines (epinephrine, dopamine), metanephrine, and neurotrophin-3 was reviewed. The content of ceruloplasmin, secondary products of lipid peroxidation processes, reduced glutathione, the activity of superoxide dismutase and the content of nitric oxide levels were determined. Results. The study established pathogenetic structural links of peripheral nerve disorders. The autoimmune process's role was to increase the range of antibodies to the MAG protein and increase the level of antibodies to DNA. Violations of elastic-tonic properties of peripheral vessels could be associated with the functional state of motor axons. The increased content of neurotransmitters is related to the state of peripheral blood circulation; the most pronounced changes were on the legs, which could contribute to the occurrence and maintenance of vasoconstriction. The role of oxidative stress in the formation of demyelinating disorders in patients' peripheral nerves in the long-term period of CRI is possible. Conclusion. Neuroimmunological processes has an essential role in the development of peripheral nerve demyelination was shown, which consists in an increase in the content of antibodies to the MAG protein expressed on Schwann cells of peripheral nerves and in an increase in the level of antibodies to DNA involved in the formation of demyelinating changes when exposed to metallic mercury. The revealed pathological changes in the state of the peripheral blood circulation, characterized by a violation of the vessels' elastic-tonic properties, leading to demyelination of motor axons in patients in the long-term period of CMI. The increased content of neurotransmitters in the examined is of great importance in the state of peripheral circulation. Pronounced changes in blood circulation are established on the lower extremities, which may be associated with the predominance of α-adrenergic receptors in the arterial bed and may contribute to the occurrence and maintenance of vasoconstriction in the legs. The relationship between changes in indicators of oxidative stress, consisting of a decrease in the value of superoxide dismutase and reduced glutathione, and the formation of demyelinating disorders of peripheral nerves in patients in the long-term period of CMI has been proved.

Ovarian cysts are quite common among gynecological patients. Surgically available for small hospitals, they are undoubtedly of interest to the general practitioner. Often unnoticed for a long time, ovarian cysts nevertheless always pose for a woman a threat of either cancerous degeneration, or the possibility of twisting, with all its consequences: subsequent fusion with surrounding organs, hemorrhages into the tumor, suppurations, ruptures, peritonitis and lacing. The reason for such detachments is, in essence, still unclear. Franz, Slavyansky believe that the pedicle of the tumor often makes a 90 turn over the upper edge of the broad ligament. With greater twisting, the blood circulation of the tumor is disrupted until it stops completely. With a slow malnutrition of the tumor, the latter first stagnates and then shrinks. Its walls undergo reverse development, and the cyst, thus, can heal itself. With rapid twisting and severe circulatory disorders in the cyst, we have a clinical picture of an "acute abdomen", which requires immediate surgery. Sometimes the cyst leg, twisted with thrombosed vessels, from lack of nutrition, atrophies, becomes thinner and interrupted. The tumor is detached, made either completely free in the abdominal cavity, or feeds through adhesions with the surrounding organs.

Abstract: In Spain, the declaration of the state of alarm due to the Covid-19 pandemic, meant that between 14th of March and 2nd of May 2020, 47 million inhabitants were confined at home and could only go out to cover basic needs. This unprecedented event has led to a paradigm shift, and it is appropriate to analyze its impact on health, considering how it has affected the practice of physical activity. An ad hoc questionnaire was administered. The participants were 1046 people (48.57% male and 51.43% female) and the average age of 40 (± DT 13.35 years). Regarding the practice of physical activity, a significant decrease in intensity and quantity stands out (p < .001), and a modification of the type of physical activity performed, going from cardiovascular sports and muscular fitness to soft gymnastics and flexibility practices. The total percentage of people who did no physical activity at all, increased. In addition, although more free time was available, people in ERTE situation significantly decreased their amount of physical activity performed (p < .001). These results allow us to conclude that confinement has meant a modification of physical activity practice habits and a decrease in the recommended values of healthy healthy, and therefore has had implications on health and quality of life. This information will help to understand these new behaviors in order for managers to implement innovative strategies to reactivate the return to previous levels of physical activity, its increase and, in short, the reactivation of the sports sector.

The article described the regulatory component of the state policy on formation of a healthy lifestyle in Ukraine. After all, the problem of forming a healthy lifestyle requires special attention, both from scientists in the fields of pedagogy, psychology, law, physical culture and sports, philosophy, sociology, medicine, and from the public, mass media and every citizen of Ukraine. It is known that the critical situation, which led to the creation of unfavorable conditions for a healthy lifestyle of the population of Ukraine, due to the action of such factors as: imperfection of the health care system; low level of awareness of the value of health as equity; finding the vast majority of the population in conditions of socio-economic instability and the like. It was found out that the state policy on the formation of a healthy lifestyle in Ukraine is represented by laws and by-laws developed on their basis. It has been established that the resolution of specific issues of health and fitness activities of subjects of the sphere of physical culture and sports is also affected by legal acts of other sectors, in particular health, education, economics, etc. The basic regulatory documents aimed at implementing state policy on the formation of a healthy lifestyle in Ukraine are defined in particular, the Law of Ukraine “On Physical Culture and Sports”, the State target social program for the development of physical culture and sports for the period until 2020 and regional programs for the development of physical culture and sports, the state target social program “Youth of Ukraine” for 2016-2020 and the National a strategy for improving physical activity in Ukraine for the period up to 2025 "Physical activity - a healthy way of life - a healthy nation" and others. National strategies and recommendations for the health activity of different population groups have been adopted in the Member States of the European Union, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan. The purpose of the National Strategy for Healthy Movement Activity in Ukraine is to formulate in society the conditions for healthful exercise activity and healthy lifestyles for shaping the health of citizens as the highest social value in the country.

Background:Family caregivers are an important health care resource and represent a significant proportion of Canadian and US populations. Family caregivers suffer physical and psychological health problems because of being in the caregiver role. Interventions to support caregiver health, including physical activity (PA), are slow to be investigated and translated into practice.Purpose:To examine the evidence for PA interventions in caregivers and determine factors hampering the uptake of this evidence into practice. Methods:A systematic review and evaluation of internal and external validity using the RE-AIM (Reach, Efficacy/Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance) framework was conducted. Randomized controlled trials or pretest/posttest studies of PA interventions were included. Results:Fourteen studies were published between 1997 and 2015. Methodological quality of studies and risk of bias was variable. External validity criteria were often not reported. Mean reporting levels were 1) reach, 53%; 2) efficacy/effectiveness, 73%; 3) adoption, 18%; 4) implementation, 48%; and 5) maintenance, 2%.Conclusions:The lack of reporting of components of internal and external validity hinders the integration of caregiver PA interventions into clinical or community settings. Researchers should focus on standardized outcomes, accepted reporting criteria, and balancing factors of internal and external validity, to advance the state of the science.
