The mutual relations between the public and psychiatrists make one wish for the best that, without exaggeration, we can say that hardly any other branch of medicine encounters such discontent from the public as psychiatry. The reason for this is partly to be found in the comparatively fewer favorable therapeutic results in the treatment of mental illnesses, partly in the gloomy depressing environment that your patients find themselves in. The author of the book being analyzed set out to shed light on the relationship that exists between the public and psychiatrists, as well as to find out the view of our society, at the heart of the sick and caring for them.

The relationship between religion and politics could be defined according to the methodological frameworks used, but mainly on how each field is understood as particular element, especially the way of defining the process of relationship in itself. In this work we will afford an analysis of this link, developing the worldviews around the notions of “the spiritual” and “the mundane” within Pentecostalism, and how their interaction -approached from the ontological turn in contemporary anthropology- can shed light on the processes from which the religious field constructs socio-political imaginaries and practices.

The key to this collection of articles is its title: Equal Respect. According to the editors, the essays are intended to shed light on the following questions, from a philosophical perspective: “What does respect for persons indicate? What is the basis of respect for others? What is the relationship between respect and other political values? How should the request for respect of citizens be translated into the public sphere and the rights of obligations of citizens?” (XIII)[1] Unsurprisingly, the milestones around which most of the articles relate are Kant, Williams, Rawls and Sen.

Competition in a government organization that has a position always causes negative friction. The source of all this is due to the absence of bureaucrats' policies in carrying out professional, efficient, neutral and honest duties and responsibilities. Implementation in the bureaucratic system is not spared from the view of the public who know that people who occupy bureaucratic positions always serve the community and become an intermediary between political parties and the government. It has become commonplace for bureaucrats to always use a system of mutualism, as well as mutual relations without harming one party to the other. In giving positions from superiors (patrons) to subordinates (clients), it is always included with a high desire and marukh that someone who has a high position then he must also balance with a broad and high power as well. Therefore the recruitment of bureaucratic members in the government does not always look at the functional side of a person, but because of the support of his subordinates. There must be a term that is always fixed in the mind and mind of a high-ranking bureaucratic official, that the stronger a person's power is always marked by the number of subordinates or staff he has especially in the city of Padang. The method used in this article is the writing method with literacy studies sourced from written sources, in the form of journals, articles, magazines, internet, literature or documents that are relevant to the problem under study. The results of the study with this literature study method are to analyze the relationship between patrons and clients towards government bureaucratization with the dimensions of parkinsonism or classic disease that cannot be overcome or eliminated which will have an impact on the wider community.

This book aims to shed light on core questions relating to language and society, language and conflict, and language and politics, in relation to a changing Middle East. While the book focuses on Arabic, it goes way beyond a purely linguistic analysis by bringing to the fore a set of pressing questions about the relationship between Arabic and society. For example, it touches on the development of language policy via an examination of administrative mandates (top-down) in contrast to grassroots initiatives (bottom-up); the deeper layers of the linguistic landscape that highlight the connection between politics, conflict, identity, road signs and street names; Arabic studies and Arabic identity and the myriad ways countries deal simultaneously with globalisation while also seeking to strengthen local and national identity, and more.

This paper maps the basic opposition groups that influenced the Egyptian political system in the last years of Hosni Mubarak’s rule. It approaches the nature of the relationship between the system and the opposition through use of the concept of “semi-opposition.” An examination and evaluation of the opposition groups shows the extent to which the regime—in order to appear that it was opening the public sphere to the opposition—had channels of communication with the Muslim Brotherhood. The paper also shows the system’s relations with other groups, such as “Kifaya” and “April 6”; it then explains the reasons behind the success of the Muslim Brotherhood at seizing power after the ousting of President Mubarak.

Today in Germany, religion and the churches forfeit their sovereignty of interpretation and ritual concerning death and dying. The funeral director is the first point of contact when death occurs. Therefore he or she is able to influence the relationship between the living and the dead. In the course of this development, the dead body, often referred to as dirty and dangerous, is being sanitized by funeral directors. Funeral directors credit the dead body with a certain quality; they claim that facing the dead may lead to religious or spiritual experiences, and therefore they encourage the public viewing of the dead – a practice which was, and still is not very common in Germany. The new connotation of the dead body is an example for the dislimitation of religion in modern society. The religious framing of death-related practises no longer exclusively belongs to traditional religious institutions and actors, but can take place in commercial business companies as well.

According to Abdulaziz Sachedina, the main argument of religious pluralism in the Qur’an based on the relationship between private belief (personal) and public projection of Islam in society. By regarding to private faith, the Qur’an being noninterventionist (for example, all forms of human authority should not be disturb the inner beliefs of individuals). While the public projection of faith, the Qur’an attitude based on the principle of coexistence. There is the willingness of the dominant race provide the freedom for people of other faiths with their own rules. Rules could shape how to run their affairs and to live side by side with the Muslims. Thus, based on the principle that the people of Indonesia are Muslim majority, it should be a mirror of a societie’s recognizion, respects and execution of religious pluralism. Abdul Aziz Sachedina called for Muslims to rediscover the moral concerns of public Islam in peace. The call for peace seemed to indicate that the existence of increasingly weakened in the religious sense of the Muslims and hence need to be reaffi rmed. Sachedina also like to emphasize that the position of peace in Islam is parallel with a variety of other doctrines, such as: prayer, fasting, pilgrimage and so on. Sachedina also tried to show the argument that the common view among religious groups is only one religion and traditions of other false and worthless. “Antipluralist” argument comes amid the reality of human religious differences.
