This article aims to develop an appropriate strategy for halal tourism at the complex of Gus Dur’s cemetery. The aim of the study is to find out an appropriate marketing communication strategy that can be applied for halal tourism particularly in religious tourism complex, around Gus Dur’s cemetery. This study used descriptive qualitative method through a mapping approach in finding the data. The finding of the study is that the implementation of an appropriate marketing communication strategy of halal tourism around Gus Dur’s cemetery should consider several aspects including advertisement role, sales promotion, event enhancement, maximizing social relationships, social publicity, direct marketing with digital utilization, and growing good tourist image with the role of word of mouth. The marketing communication strategy that will be developed should refer to the concept of halal tourism; the so called Muslim-friendly environment. Throughout this marketing communication strategy, this will maximize the existence of religious tourism around Gus Dur’s cemetery both for local and international tourists.

This study aims to analyze how the process of marketing communication strategies such as: advertising, sales promotion, public relations and publicity, personal selling, and direct marketing conducted by PT. Indonesia Villajaya. The research data was obtained through direct observation, documentation, as well as in-depth interviews with five informants. This research method using descriptive qualitative method. Analysis of the data include: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that PT. Indonesia Villajaya conduct marketing communication strategy with reference to the integrated marketing communications strategy with process include: advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, personal selling, and community relations & publicity. With the process of the strategy undertaken during this helps in increasing the public's brand awareness, enhance brand image and increase sales for the company

Business competition is also very tight, this company tries to attract consumers to buy its products by carrying out promotional strategies through the role of an influencer, such as artists, fashion bloggers, fashion stylish, and others, in this way is expected to increase sales. This study aims to see an overview of digital marketing communication strategies through the role of an influencer applied by Little PEP Jaya. Based on the research theme, a suitable research method for digging up the data or information needed uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in research are through semi-structured interviews conducted with informants who are closely related to the theme of this research, including influencers and management staff at Little PEP Jaya. research findings the researcher also conducted a literature study, either through communication books or through online sources relevant to this research. The results of this study are Little PEP Jaya's digital marketing communication strategy planning through influencers using Instagram social media as a medium for disseminating information. In planning the marketing communication strategy, Little PEP Jaya has communicators, namely influencers according to the character of the product, they have an age segmentation that is in accordance with the Little PEP Jaya brand image, namely children's and young parents' clothing, In the implementation of marketing communication strategies through influencers, Little PEP publicity Jaya asked for a message to be conveyed by communicators, namely influencers, those who designed it by adjusting the personality of the Influencers, but did not have a deadline.

This research was conducted in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran (Kakoba), an agrotourism owned by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) located in the area of coffee plantation Getas Afdeling Assinan, Jl. Raya Semarang – Solo KM 1,5. Thisresearch aims to: (1) knowing Kakoba’s marketing communication (2) knowing the changing and factors affecting Kakoba’s marketing communications(3) knowing the impact of Kakoba’s marketing communication changes in attracting visitors. This research was conducted on February – March 2018. The participants of this research were the management of Kakoba. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and study documentation.This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive design.The research results explain Kakoba marketing communication strategies are: advertising, direct marketing, and sales promotion. There is one discovery about marketing communication strategy: private relation. There are other types of communication: physical environment and quality of services that support the delivery of messages to visitors. Factors affecting the changing of marketing communications in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran is technology and information, as well as the better assessment and consumer knowledge. The impact of agrotourism marketing communication changes in Kakoba is the increasing number of visitors from year to year.

Penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi pemasaran yang diterapkan Kelompok Usaha Bersama Kembang Ilung dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis kerajinan anyaman eceng gondok  adalah dengan jalan memasang iklan (Beriklan) dengan cara pembuatan leaflet/brosur dan pemasangan spanduk. Pemasaran Langsung (direct marketing) dilakukan dengan cara membawa hasil produk kerjainan tangan anyaman eceng gondok untuk dijual di pasar-pasar terdekat. Penjualan secara langsung dengan mendatangi tempat keramaian seperti pasar dan pameran ataupun tempat lainnya dan menawarkan produk-produk yang dihasilkan. Promosi penjualan (sales promotion) dengan membuat produk baru/sample yang kemudian dipromosikan baik secara door to door. Penjualan personal (personal selling) dengan cara menawarkan secara langsung ke buyer/exportir baik dalam daerah maupun luar daerah seperti ke Bali, Yogyakarta dan Palangkaraya. Pemasaran interaktif dilakukan dengan cara mempromosikan dan memasarkan produknya melalui internet yaitu dengan media sosial Whatsapp dan Instagram. Hubungan masyarakat (public relations) dengan memberikan pembinaan, pendidikan dan pelatihan produk kerajinan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan warga setempat. Hambatan dihadapi dalam penerapan komunikasi pemasaran Kerajinan Anyaman Eceng Gondok adalah penggunaan sarana dan prasarana sebagai alat penunjang promosi pemasaran masih belum maksimal. Kegiatan promosi belum dilakukan secara maksimal dan belum menggunakan semua media yang ada serta kurangnya sumber  daya manusia dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi masih menjadi hambatan bagi KUB Kembang Ilung dalam upaya penerapan komunikasi pemasaran kerajinan anyaman eceng gondok. Solusi yang dilakukan Kelompok Usaha Bersama Kembang Ilung dalam mengatasi hambatan-hambatan tersebut adalah KUB Kembang Ilung lebih gencar dalam melakukan kegiatan promosi, melakukan loby-loby kepada pihak pemerintah, melakukan peningkatan dan pengembangan SDM yang ada pada setiap anggota sehingga kinerja KUB Kembang Ilung berjalan dengan efisien, melibatkan kegiatan perusahaan dengan memanfaatkan media teknologi informasi, serta melakukan evaluasi dengan Strategi  SWOT secara berkala.

This study explores how marketing communication strategies in thematic villages are described with the SOSTAC model. This research aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy that has been carried out by Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan Malang using the SOSTAC Model. To achieve this objective, this study uses descriptive research, which means that this research describes systematic, factual, accurate from the data obtained and then analyzed to obtain the results needen in the study. The results showed that in the KJT village the marketing communication strategy that had been carried out had gone well using marketing communication tools such as publicity, direct marketing, personal selling, word of mouth to attract visitors. The focus of KJT for marketing communication strategies is image, tourist attraction, advances in information technology. The marketing communication strategy that shows the interest of Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan is dutch era buildings that are still well cared for and preserved to become a characteristic of Malang city which is identical to a heritage city.

Gemilang Lima Jaya (GLJ) has done such a word of mouth promotion, personal selling, sales promotion, and advertising. But in fact, GLJ generates sales is low due to lack of brand awareness on a sandal with a brand of NIMS. The purpose of this study was to evaluate communication marketing that can support GLJ’s brand awareness. This type of research is a qualitative method with semi structured interviews with GLJ’s consumers, CEO of GLJ, lecturers who supervise the project and experts, and documentation in collecting data. The results showed that (1) the overall that marketing communication applied in support of brand awareness GLJ is still not effective (2) factor marketing communication that supports brand awareness is advertising. (2) Advertising and personal selling GLJ yet effective, the need for evaluation in improvingInstagram such as posting the supporting images and increase the intensity of advertising. Personal selling by increasing design stand, do partnership, and doexhibition surveys. (3) Word of mouth and sales promotion has been running quite effectively. Still, Word of mouth needs evaluation by expanding markets outside the community. Sales Promotion is in compliance with the target market GLJ, yet still needs to be improved by offeringpromotional goods such as stamp and voucher.

By using a qualitative descriptive approach, this is to explore the activities of the marketing department of the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office in implementing marketing communications to increase the number of tourists. The tourism sector is one of the factors that influence the economy of Buleleng Regency. Through a good marketing communication strategy in marketing, the results will be good too, this will also increase tourist visits and help economic growth in Buleleng Regency. Similarly, tourism marketing aims to inform, persuade, introduce and increase tourist consumers so that prospective tourists have a desire to visit Buleleng Regency. The strategy carried out by the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office in increasing the number of tourist visits included advertising through television electronic media, online media, brochures, banners. Then face-to-face sales (Personal Selling) by introducing tourism products that are the object of tourist attractions. Furthermore sales promotion (Sales Promotion) through writing or direct communication, and publicity (Publicity) in the form of commercial news about products that are broadcast both through print media and electronic media. As well as direct marketing (Direct Marketing) is a form of promotion carried out by persuading prospective tourists. This can be done through writing that tells the experience on a personal blog. So that prospective tourists who want to go to Buleleng Regency can read someone's experience on various internet sites related to tourism objects, entrance ticket prices, locations, and so on. The development of the creative industrial sector is able to contribute significantly to the national economy, one of which is fashion business. This is due to the phenomenon of fashion trends that gave birth to many business actors in the field of the fashion business. With so many fashion business players, fashion business competition will be more competitive that can impact on business success. One strategy that can be taken by business actors is product development, but according to modern marketing, it takes more than developing a product. Business actors need to apply various forms of communication in marketing so as to effectively reach and influence target markets through marketing communications strategies. Consumer preferences can be used to help the selection of the right marketing communications strategy as an effort to grab attention and influence the target market effectively in order to increase sales resultsThis study aims to determine consumer preferences of marketing communication strategy for Sass and Co. products. This study uses five marketing communication mix as variables or attributes and 16 sub-attributes. Sampling was done by Non-Probability Sampling method with a total of 400 respondents and using conjoint analysis technique. The results of this study show that the best combination of respondents is the marketing communication strategy using social media advertising, sales promotion by giving discounts, direct marketing through Shopee, word of mouth marketing using friend recommendation, and using personal sales through the offline store.

This research is about marketing communication strategies  by Matoa Watches in increasing brand awareness. Marketing communication conducted by Matoa is more focused on marketing communication activities on social media and internet but also done through advertising (advertising), exhibitions, publications, sales promotion and direct marketing to rise a brand awarenes.. In this research, researchers used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using in-depth semi-structured interviews to obtain complete information in accordance with what is needed by researchers. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis lebih lanjut penerapan Integrated Marketing Communication pada Festival Seni Rupa Kontemporer Internasional ARTJOG MMXIX yang diselenggarakan oleh Heri Pemad Management (selanjutnya disingkat HPM). Manfaat penelitian ini adalah memberikan kontribusi pemikiran bagi pengembangan pengelolaan manajemen seni dalam keberhasilannya meraih pasar. Untuk menjawab pokok masalah dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengacu pada konsep komunikasi pemasaran terpadu model George dan Michael Belch (2011) yang meliputi advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, direct marketing, Public Relations and Publicity serta interactive marketing melalui tiga tahapan proses, yaitu perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian dijalankan secara kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data terbagi dua yaitu data primer melalui wawancara dan observasi; serta data sekunder melalui studi pustaka. Key informan dan informan yang dipilih berasal dari internal HPM dan pengunjung Festival ARTJOG MMXIX. Penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan bahwa HPM telah mengimplementasikan Integrated Marketing Communication melalui tahap perencanaan yang dimulai dari targeting, positioning, penetapan tujuan dan anggaran. Tahap implementasi, dilakukan perancangan pesan, pemilihan media, dan penerapan bauran komunikasi. Tahap evaluasi, dilakukan analisis untuk mengukur hasil akhir dari implementasi bauran IMC sekaligus mengambil tindakan korektif dalam penyelenggaraan festival tersebut. Kesimpulannya, HPM telah berhasil menerapkan konsep komunikasi pemasaran terpadu pada penyelenggaraan Festival Seni Rupa Kontemporer Internasional ARTJOG MMXIX. ABSTRACTThis research aims to further analyze the implementation of Integrated Marketing Communication at the International Contemporary Arts Festival of ARTJOG MMXIX organized by Heri Pemad Management (hereinafter abbreviated as HPM). The benefit of this research is to contribute to thinking for the development of art management in the success of achieving the market. To address the subject matter of this study, researchers refer to the concept of Integrated Marketing Communication George and Michael Belch (2011) model’s which include advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, direct marketing, Public Relations and Publicity and interactive marketing through three stages of the process, planning, implementation and evaluation. Research is conducted qualitatively with case study methods. Two data collection is the primary data through interviews and observations; and secondary data through library studies. Key informant and informant are selected from the internal HPM and visitors Festival ARTJOG MMXIX. The research can explain that HPM has implemented Integrated Marketing Communication through the planning phase starting from targeting, positioning, goal setting and budget. Implementation stage, message design, media selection and communication mix application. Evaluation stage analyzed to measure the outcome of the implementation of IMC mix and take corrective action in the implementation of the festival. In conclusion, HPM has successfully adopted the concept of integrated marketing communication at the International Contemporary Art Festival of ARTJOG MMXIX.
