Water quality in the process of ornamental fish cultivation plays an important role in creating an environment of life that is in accordance with the needs of ornamental fish. Acidity (pH) and water temperature are one of the important factors of ornamental fish growth. The purpose of this study is to describe how the design system builds arduino-based humidity and pH temperature measuring instruments. Review the validity of moisture temperature and water pH. Monitor the humidity temperature and pH of ornamental fish aquarium water to know the results of the same data with liturgy. This research is a research and development research, conducted in the Laboratory of Physics Education Study FKIP Jember University. The research time was carried out for four months. The samples used in this study were ornamental carp. Based on the analysis of data obtained, it can be concluded that, (1) The work of pH, temperature, and spouting systems based on Arduino Uno is made with sen0161-V2, DS18B20 and DHT-11 sensors and data appearance media namely LCD. (2) Rakaian system is then calibrated to state that the system can be used properly. Calibration includes Arduino-based pH, temperature and Humidity sensor calibration as well as LCD testing. (3) The data that has been found by the researcher and the data in the literature has a match.   Keywords: water quality, Acidity (pH), water temperature, arduino-based.

Tarahara Fish Farm includes 37 large ponds as a fish super zone. Physicochemical parameters viz., air and water temperature, pH, DO, BOD, CO2, Cl-, TA and TH of these ponds were studied for two years (Nov. 2008 to Oct. 2010). The air temperature had positive and significant correlation with water temperature (r=0.893, P<0.01) but inverse and significant correlation with DO (r = - 0.669 P<0.05) and TH (r = - 0.673, P<0.05). Both air and water temperature showed a decreasing trend during the winter months of November to January and again September to October in both years. Similarly, positive and significant correlation showed by pH with DO (r =0.660, P<0.05) and BOD (r =0.846, P<0.05); by free CO2 with DO (r=0.854, P<0.01), chloride (r=0.648, P<0.05) and TA (r=0.616, P<0.05); by DO with TA (r =0.715, P<0.01) and chloride (r =0.625, P<0.05) and by TH with TA (r= 0.592, P<0.05) but inverse and significant correlation showed by pH with water temperature (r =-0.671, P<0.05); by free CO2 with BOD (r=-0.627, P<0.05) and by DO with BOD (r = -0.810, P <0.01). The water quality parameters were within suitable range for the fish growth and breeding with small fluctuations in different months during the first and second years. Physico-chemical parameters significantly (P<0.01; 0.05) differed between different months. However, no mass mortality of fish was recorded from this site. So, the area selected as fish super zone is fruitful to meet the expected production level of fishes and fish seeds in peripheral areas.

A clam angelwing is one kind of razor clam. His life Habitat is found in the Kelang Beach district of Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatera Province. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of tembarang shell nests. This research is an exploratory, discrete study. The findings Data are narrated and discussed based on the relevant literature review. Based on the findings in the field, the characteristics of the nest angelwing clam are listed as follows: Distance from the shoreline between 30-70 meters, The diameter of the nest length is 0.5-1.5 cm and the width is 0.3-1 cm, the holes are round and round oval, usually holes consist of 1-5 pieces. Hole depth 10-40 cm, on the surface of the hole there are shavings or piles of sand, and 1 hole filled 1 individual. Average water quality observation during research: water temperature (29-30 °C), Water brightness (25-40 cm), water pH (7,5-7,9), dissolved oxygen (5,6-5,9 ppm), and salinity (29-30 ppt).

AbstractIn fish farming activities there are a number of important things that must be considered, namely feeding and controlling the quality of the water in the pond such as water temperature, pH level and water clarity, because these elements are important for fish growth and life. Adjusting the time to feed the fish is also very important so that the fish can stay alive, if it is too late to feed the fish the fish can be stressed and eventually starve to death. Fish owners who have a fairly busy level of activity, will feel a little difficulty when leaving the house in a long time, because meeting the needs of fish and continuous monitoring is very time consuming. Thus, an automatic fish feeding device was developed which can be adjusted when feeding and measuring the feeding. In this study, Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega 2560 are the "brains" that control inputs, processes and outputs. Servo motor as a cover drive where fish feed is released. Water temperature sensors, pH sensors and water clarity sensors or TDS to monitor the state of the water. The output generated from the auto fish feeder has issued the feed in accordance with the set hours when testing, only the size of the feed will affect the amount of feed that comes out, as well as testing the temperature sensor, pH, and water clarity working properly.Keywords : Arduino, microcontroller, fish feeder, sensorDalam Kegiatan budidaya ikan ada beberapa hal penting yang harus diperhatikan yaitu pemberian pakan dan pengontrolan terhadap kualitas air yang ada dikolam seperti suhu air, kadar pH dan kejernihan air, karena unsur-tersebut penting bagi pertumbuhan dan kehidupan ikan. Penyesuaian waktu memberi makan ikan juga sangat penting agar ikan dapat tetap hidup, jika terlambat dalam memberi makan ikan maka ikan bisa stress dan akhirnya mati kelaparan. Pemilik ikan yang memiliki tingkat kesibukan yang cukup padat, akan merasakan sedikit kesulitan ketika akan meninggalkan rumah dalam waktu yang cukup lama, karena pemenuhan kebutuhan ikan dan pemantauan terus menerus sangat memakan waktu. Dengan demikian maka dikembangkanlah sebuah alat pemberi makan ikan otomatis yang dapat diatur waktu pemberian pakannya dan takaran pemberian pakannya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan Arduino Uno dan Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai “otak” yang mengendalikan input, proses dan output. Motor servo sebagai penggerak penutup tempat keluarnya pakan ikan. Sensor suhu air, sensor pH dan sensor kejernihan air atau TDS untuk memantau keadaan air. Output yang dihasilkan dari auto fish feeder sudah mengeluarkan pakan sesuai dengan pengaturan jam yang sudah diatur ketika pengujian, hanya ukuran pakan akan mempengaruhi jumlah takaran pakan yang keluar, serta pengujian sensor suhu, pH, dan kejernihan air bekerja dengan baik.Kata Kunci : Arduino, mikrokontroller, fish feeder, sensor

There are still a lot area that have not goten water from PDAM, therefore, people try to make artesian well made by themselves. Although, not all of them can afford to make their own artesian well. Therefore, governtment make a national program called Penyediaan Air Minum dan Sanitasi Berbasis Masyarakat (PAMSIMAS). Therefore, we need a technology which can detect and purify water turbidity for the water that people use everyday. People can see wether the water is decent to be consumed and if not therefore the system can pour alum automatically. The designed system in the form of conected hardware and software to monitor water quality based on turbidity and water pH through smartphone. Hardware system include microcontroller Arduino Uno, LDR sensor, pH sensor, servo motor, Sim808 modul and LED. The used softwares in this research are android aplication and firebase database. The system can save turbidity and pH data therefore, people can monitor through their smartphone and get information about level of the water. The goal of this system is to make people’s life become more easier to know the water’s condition and purify the water which will be used without going to the water tub

One of water quality parameters is the degree of water. For most of people, water quality is considered important because it is not only about aesthetic. A good water for consumption to governmentissued regulation through Indonesian Minister of Health is has a pH 6.5 - 8.5 value ( Regulation of Minister of Healty No 907, 2002, about Term and Supervision of Water Quality Drinking, and Regulation of Minister of Healty No 416, 1990 about Term and Supervision of Water Quality). Although most of people in Bukittinggi still do not know whether the water from drill water used is worth consuming or not. Therefore, writer planned to build a device to measure the acidity (pH) of water to make it easier to identify the water to be used. Device made by author has same function as water pH device or pH meter that has been traded in general. This device uses a liquid acidity sensor circuit as a pH sensor. The processing of sensor result is carried out by sensors by using Arduino Uno, display the measurement results using LCD. This device is relatively accurate with the power supply using 9 V battery that available in the market so this device can be taken everywhere to make it easier to use when researching or field surveys.

PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is a company engaged in the field of Autoparts Manufacture. Barcode is the identity of an item / product on the package. Barcode technology has been used as the identity of goods in a production. Barcodes are used to facilitate the identification of goods produced. Paste the barcode on the packaging of packaging results at PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is done manually, but there are often errors attached to the barcode on a similar packaging. This research will design and create a system based on Visual Basic.Net and Arduino to select barcode attachment errors that have the potential to be sent to consumers. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, database design and interface menu design. The system created will then be tested to detect the black box test. With a computing-based design system that functions to detect barcodes on the packaging automatically, the problem of sticking barcodes on the packaging can be detected.

These paper present the designing system of wind turbine for public fish cages lighting at Belang Village in Southeast Minahasa. Belang is one of popular destination to find a fresh fish in north sulawesi, but the problem is the efficiency of electricity is not sufficient for the fish farmer. Propeller helps in the motor to generating electricity. Comprehensive research studies are carried out in order to measure the lighting resistances. The generated data from wind turbine can be seen using LCD 2x16 which connected with microcontroller Arduino Uno. Finally, conclusions are fully drawn.

This paper presents a study on assessment of water quality. According to a study, mining activities have a significant impact on water quality (lakes, surface water and groundwater), which has become a major problem globally. Due to mining and exploitation processes, lakes can be formed around these mines. Also, these lakes have been formed around the world and are steadily increasing. The purpose of this study is to watch the quality of water from the area around mining activities. This study refers to the, Groapa Burlacu lake around the mining exploitation Targu Ocna, Romania. This lake was formed on the northern bottle of the massive salt, strongly affected by the underground activities. Sampling for the determination the concentrations of Cl- and NaCl from the studied area was made at different depths (0 m, -5 m, -10 m, -15 m, -20 m, -25 m, -30 m, -35 m -40 m). Besides these concentrations, physical parameters of the water (pH, turbidity, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen and temperature) were also measured. To determine the physical parameters in the monitored area, sampling was done from four different points of the area and then put together for analysis. These parameters were measured on site using portable equipment. The data on the analyzed concentrations indicate that at depths of less than 5.0 m, the NaCl concentration values are more than 250 g/L.

Urban freshwater lakes play an indispensable role in maintaining the urban environment and are suffering great threats of eutrophication. Until now, little has been known about the seasonal bacterial communities of the surface water of adjacent freshwater urban lakes. This study reported the bacterial communities of three adjacent freshwater lakes (i.e., Tangxun Lake, Yezhi Lake and Nan Lake) during the alternation of seasons. Nan Lake had the best water quality among the three lakes as reflected by the bacterial eutrophic index (BEI), bacterial indicator (Luteolibacter) and functional prediction analysis. It was found that Alphaproteobacteria had the lowest abundance in summer and the highest abundance in winter. Bacteroidetes had the lowest abundance in winter, while Planctomycetes had the highest abundance in summer. N/P ratio appeared to have some relationships with eutrophication. Tangxun Lake and Nan Lake with higher average N/P ratios (e.g., N/P = 20) tended to have a higher BEI in summer at a water temperature of 27 °C, while Yezhi Lake with a relatively lower average N/P ratio (e.g., N/P = 14) tended to have a higher BEI in spring and autumn at a water temperature of 9–20 °C. BEI and water temperature were identified as the key parameters in determining the bacterial communities of lake water. Phosphorus seemed to have slightly more impact on the bacterial communities than nitrogen. It is expected that this study will help to gain more knowledge on urban lake eutrophication.
