AbstractIn fish farming activities there are a number of important things that must be considered, namely feeding and controlling the quality of the water in the pond such as water temperature, pH level and water clarity, because these elements are important for fish growth and life. Adjusting the time to feed the fish is also very important so that the fish can stay alive, if it is too late to feed the fish the fish can be stressed and eventually starve to death. Fish owners who have a fairly busy level of activity, will feel a little difficulty when leaving the house in a long time, because meeting the needs of fish and continuous monitoring is very time consuming. Thus, an automatic fish feeding device was developed which can be adjusted when feeding and measuring the feeding. In this study, Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega 2560 are the "brains" that control inputs, processes and outputs. Servo motor as a cover drive where fish feed is released. Water temperature sensors, pH sensors and water clarity sensors or TDS to monitor the state of the water. The output generated from the auto fish feeder has issued the feed in accordance with the set hours when testing, only the size of the feed will affect the amount of feed that comes out, as well as testing the temperature sensor, pH, and water clarity working properly.

Chicken manure is an organic material that is abundant in Mentangor Village which has been used as fertilizer when fertilizing ponds, however the continuous use of fertilizers can reduce the quality of the bottom soil and pond water. One of the technological innovations to improve the quality of chicken manure is fermentation using EM4 to produce bokashi fertilizer. Bokashi fertilizer can increase the abundance of phytoplankton and zooplankton which are useful as natural fish food so that they can reduce the use of artificial feed, which in turn can reduce the operational costs of fish farming. Community service activities are carried out for the purpose of innovating knowledge and skills of fish farmers regarding techniques for making bokashi fertilizer from chicken manure and techniques for making fish feed in the form of pellets to increase cultivated fish production. This activity is carried out by lecturing, discussion and practice methods, which involve fish cultivator groups and Kukerta students. The results of community service activities show the high enthusiasm of farmers towards the activities carried out, resulting in increased knowledge, insight and skills of farmer groups. Thus, fish farming activities can be carried out by farmers by reducing operational costs for pond management and provision of feed so as to produce high fish production and increase the income and welfare of farmer groups.

The major issue faced in restaurants and hotels is the quality of service provided by them especially ordering of food. Traditionally, it used to take a long time for food ordering as waiter used to note down orders, place it kitchen and the food was prepared. It also involved traditional pen and paper method and the process was time consuming. It also involved a lot of wastage of paper. Hence, we have designed the smart restaurant in which the orders will be placed paperless using Arduino UNO, TFT touch display connected to the kitchen chef directly using RF Transmitter. This acted as the transmitting side. At the receiving side, the order placed is seen on LCD screen and indication of buzzer with the help of RF Receiver and I2C Module confirmed the placing of order to kitchen. Hence, the workers focused on billing and other work process and provided better quality services. We found out that this method is useful in many ways like- It not only saved the wastage of paper but also reduced the burden on the waiters and workers to great extent. Time management was also done as more and more customers could be handled by taking their orders and provide quality service. This setup is quite practical on basis such that this system can be implemented for small startups hotels and restaurants. The investment cost is also one-time investment as it requires less maintenance. The only fact it requires is to update the system as per our convenience and new offers. It also required average skilled labor to operate. Hence, we can conclude that this system is eco-friendly as it saves the paper usage by directly giving the order to kitchen and chef. The second grasping factor is that the waiters can involve them in other process of billing and other process. Hence it promotes the multi-tasking process. Third factor covered is that fresh food can be served at a faster rate to the customers due to this table-kitchen friendly process. It even eliminates the errors occurred due to traditional methods and also involves constant upgradation and upliftment of the system helps in better customer end services.

Proper feed management is based on precise prediction of fish growth and good knowledge of the dynamics in the relationship between feeding (SFR), growth (SGR) and feed conversion (FCR). Recent research at Laxforsen indicates that there is a relationship between SFR, SGR and FCR at any water temperature, fish size and at any level of digestible energy in the feed. The investigation clearly shows that there is a target area rather than a point for optimum feeding. Optimized local feed management together with further development of fish feed in terms of increased digestibility of feed components will lead to greater profitability to the farmer and also minimize aquaculture wastes.

The intensification and development potential of the aquaculture sector has created challenges in finding alternative sources of protein for use in fish feed diets to develop feeds that provide adequate nutrition for fish growth while reducing the use of traditional protein sources. Therefore, the paper aimed to study the feasibility and effectiveness of feed additives “Bio-Mos” and “NuPro®” when implementing them into the diet of this year's carp (Сyprinus carpio). Researches were carried out in the conditions of the fishery “Rudnyky” of the Mykolaiv district of the Lviv region. The object of the study was this year's carp (Cyprinus carpio L.), which were grown in monoculture with artificial feed. In our research, it was found that the maximum average monthly temperature of the water supply source is set in August – +25.6 °С. The oxygen concentration was in the range of 6.5–7.3 mg/dm3. The highest values of permanganate oxidation were found in August – 12.8 g O2/m3, NO2 content increased slightly in July (0.052 mgN/l) and August (0.071 mgN/l) the number of nitrates increased slightly in August and September at 0.360 mgN/l and 0.281 mgN/l. The concentration of NH4+ was at the level of minimum values – 0.151–0.331 mg N/dm3. The phosphate content (PO4-3) fluctuated slightly in the range of 0.11–0.18 mg P/dm3. As a result of research, it was found that when the drug “NuPro” was included in the diet, the average individual weight of this year's carp was higher during the caught period by 24.3 %, and when using the additive “Bio-Mos” this figure exceeded the control by 28.6 %. Accordingly, the total mass of caught young carp from the second experimental pond exceeded this figure in the first control pond by 45.0 %, and in the third experimental pond, respectively – by 57.4 %. At the same time, “NuPro” та “Bio-Mos” increase the survival of young people from 9.3 % to 16.7 %. Therefore, when using feed additives “NuPro” and “Bio-Mos” in the amount of 2 % by weight of feed has a positive effect on the productivity of this year`s carp (Cyprinus carpio L.), which are grown in the III zone of fish farming.

UKM Mandiri Jaya is a community group effort that has not been economically productive, but has a strong desire to become an entrepreneur. Members of these SMEs are made up of economically weak communities. They have a very low income. Daily necessities of life are obtained through farming and catfish farming. The effort is carried out on arable land and the home page. Agricultural products are sold, but are not able to meet the increasing needs. Catfish farming is also carried out on a small scale because it is constrained by the high price of feed on the market. With the aim to develop the business of fish farming, SMEs have been given fish seeds, materials and pellet making equipment and fish feed making machines. A fish feed machine is needed so that farmers can increase their income by utilizing existing ingredients as a fish feed composition. Partners have been trained so as to be able to make their own fish feed from quality ingredients and partners have the ability to use the machines provided. Through the feed produced by the use of a given machine, the better fish growth. More fish yields resulting in an increase in income for these partners.

Abstract. Pertiwi MP, Saputri DD. 2020. Golden apple snail (Pomacea canaliculata) as an alternative protein source in Pasupati catfish (Pangasius sp.) fish feed. Nusantara Bioscience 12: 162-167. Research on efforts to conserve golden apple snail (Pomacea canaliculata) meat has been done. This research aimed to utilize the snail meat as an alternative feed for the Pasupati catfish (Pangasius sp.). The research was carried out from May to August 2020. It began by collecting Pomacea canaliculata by hand sorting then processed into artificial feed/pellets. The research was CRD designed with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Pasupati catfish juvenil measuring 7.4 ± 0.8 cm and weighing 11.7 ± 0.5 g, was maintained for 21 days with a stocking density of 15 individuals/aquarium. Feeding as much as 8% of the biomass with a frequency of feeding 3 times a day at satiation. Variables measured were SGR, L, RP, FCR, and SR. The results showed that feed B produced the best fish growth and could be an alternative fish feed without having a negative effect on growth and feed utilization. Feed B (90% fish meal + 10% Pomacea canaliculata meat meal) had the highest SGR value and was supported by a high PR value and a low FCR value. In addition, there is a difference among variables, despite least significant. ANOVA test also supports the differences between treatments, but HSD test (p<0,05) is not significantly different. This means that the addition of the percentage of P. canaliculata meat meal to the feed does not provide a good performance of the Pasupati catfish. Value of abiotic parameters was to support fish farming.

Abstract Feed plays an important role in fish farming activities. Meeting the needs of feed quality and quantity sufficient aims to increase farming production, in addition to the feed given to fish properly assessed not only from the composition of the feed but also of how much the components contained in the feed can be absorbed and utilized by the fish in his life. Factors that may affect the digestibility of feed include feed composition, range and quality of the enzyme in the intestine or the stomach of fish (NRC, 1993) while Mudjiman (2002) states that the specific differences in the digestive system in fish can lead to differences in the ability of fish to digest feed, for it is used in this study true stomach fish and stomachless fish. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the digestibility of crude fiber and determine the optimum content in true stomach fish and stomachless fish. The study design used in this study was Complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern with two factors, factor A is a type of fish and factor B is the type of feed. Analysis of the data were processed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to determine whether there is an interaction effect between the treatment given. If there is a difference in the effect of test distance followed by Multiple Duncan (Duncan's Multiple Range Test). Based on the research results showed that there is a very real difference (p<0.01) on the digestibility of fish and feed efficiency in true stomach fish and stomachless fish. The highest digestibility resulting in treatment A2 (81,26%) while for fish feed efficiency, the true stomach fish has a higher feed efficiency than the stomachless fish is 20,91%.
