Este artigo tem como objetivo contextualizar e narrar a história do encarte regional Planalto Paulista, produzido e publicado pelo jornal Gazeta Mercantil. Pensado para consolidar a marca do jornal durante seu período de expansão, o Planalto Paulista fez parte de um conjunto de outros encartes regionais lançados durante o final da década de 90 e fechados no início dos anos 2000. Para tanto, este trabalho parte de uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o jornalismo econômico brasileiro, sobre o jornal Gazeta Mercantil e, mais especificamente, sobre a criação do Planalto Paulista em 1998 e seu fechamento, em 2002. O conteúdo é complementado com entrevistas realizadas com jornalistas que trabalharam para o encarte na época.   PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Gazeta Mercantil; Planalto Paulista; jornalismo econômico brasileiro; Campinas; encartes regionais.     ABSTRACT This article intends to contextualize and tell the history of Planalto Paulista, the regional insert produced and published by former newspaper Gazeta Mercantil. Planalto Paulista was intended to consolidate the newspaper brand during its expansion period and was part of a series of other regional inserts launched during the late 1990s and closed in the early 2000s. For this purpose, this work is based on a literature review on brazilian economic journalism, on Gazeta Mercantil, and more specifically on the creation of Planalto Paulista in 1998 and its closure in 2002. Planeado para fortalecer la marca del periódico durante su período de expansión, el Planalto Paulista fue parte de un conjunto de otros insertos regionales lanzados a finales de los años 90 y que se cerró a principios de 2000. Por lo tanto, este trabajo parte de una revisión bibliográfica en el periodismo económico de Brasil en la Gazeta Mercantil, y más específicamente en la creación del Planalto Paulista en 1998 y su cierre en 2002. O trabalho propõe uma análise comparativa dos formatos impresso e online do Jornal do Brasil (JB), a fim de investigar as transformações no perfil editorial do periódico a partir de sua transição definitiva para a plataforma digital, que ocorreu em 2010. Ao todo, foram analisadas 14 publicações do JB, entre impressas e digitais, buscando uma análise comparativa das edições nas duas mídias. O presente artigo apresenta um resgate da história do JB. Além disso, expõe a análise descritiva, com base nos indicadores de identidade levantados em revisão bibliográfica específica e, posteriormente, apresenta os resultados obtidos, tecendo comparações entre os formatos. Palavras-chave: Jornal do Brasil; Jornalismo Digital; Jornalismo Impresso; Imprensa; História do Jornalismo.  Abstract: The paper proposes a comparative analysis of printed and online formats of Jornal do Brazil (JB) in order to investigate the changes in the journal's editorial profile from its final transition to the digital platform, which took place in 2010. Altogether, 14 JB issues were analyzed, both printed and digital ones. This article presents a bailout in the history of JB. In addition, it presents the descriptive analysis, based on the identity indicators raised in specific literature review and subsequently presents the results obtained, weaving comparisons between formats. Key-words: Jornal do Brasil; Digital Journalism, Journalism Printed; Press; History of Journalism.  Resumen:El documento propone un análisis comparativo de los formatos impresa y electrónica de Jornal do Brasil (JB) con el fin de investigar los cambios en el perfil editorial del diario de su transición final a la plataforma digital, que tuvo lugar en 2010. En total, el estudio analizó 14 publicaciones de JB entre impresos y digitales, para esbozar un análisis comparativo de los temas en los dos medios. En este artículo se presenta un plan de rescate en la historia de JB. Además, se presenta el análisis descriptivo, basado en la identidad de los indicadores planteados en revisión de la literatura específica y, posteriormente, presenta los resultados obtenidos, tejiendo las comparaciones entre los formatos. Palabras clave: Jornal do Brasil; Periodismo digital; Periodismo de impresión; Prensa; Historia del periodismo.

O siqueirismo se tornou um derivativo de uma palavra que era comum desde a criação do Estado nos meios políticos. Com a configuração de um grupo político praticamente hegemônico no Tocantins, os políticos, sejam deputados, prefeitos, vereadores e senadores ligados ao grupo de Siqueira Campos eram chamados de siqueiristas. Desta forma objetivamos fazer uma análise do siqueirismo comparativamente a outras formas de dominação, na perspectiva weberiana, no Brasil contemporâneo. O interesse é pontuar, em um recorte deliberado de algumas formas de poder que possam servir à percepção do que é o siqueirismo no Tocantins e compará-lo com outros personagens da política brasileira na segunda metade do século XX.   PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Tocantins; siqueirismo; dominação; política.     ABSTRACT Siqueirism has become a derivative of a word that was common in political circles since the creation of Tocantins state. With the configuration of a practically homogeneous political group in Tocantins, the politicians that were affiliated to Siqueira Campos were called “siqueiristas”, whether they were congressmen, mayors, councilman or senators. Thus, we aim to make an analysis of siqueirismo with respect to other forms of domination in contemporary Brazil using a Weberian perspective. Our interest is to point which forms of power can be used to built a perception of what is siqueirism and compare it to other political characters from Brazilian history of the mid-late 20th century.   KEYWORDS: Tocantins; siqueirism; domination; politics.     RESUMEN El siqueirismo se convirtió en un derivado de una palabra que era común desde la creación del Estado en los círculos políticos. Con la configuración de un grupo político prácticamente hegemónica en Tocantins, los políticos son diputados, alcaldes, concejales y senadores vinculados al grupo de Siqueira Campos fueron llamados siqueiristas. De esta manera se pretende analizar la siqueirismo en comparación con otras formas de dominación, en la perspectiva de Weber, en el Brasil contemporáneo. El interés es anotar en un corte deliberado de algunas formas de poder que puede servir a la percepción de lo que se siqueirismo en Tocantins y compararlo con otros personajes de la política brasileña en la segunda mitad del siglo XX.     PALABRAS CLAVE: Tocantins; Siqueirismo; Dominación; Política.

The psycho-oncology represents an interface between psychology and oncology. In Portugal, the creation of Psycho-oncology was due to the collaboration between oncologists with psychiatrists and psychologists. This partnership led to the creation of first Portuguese research works in Psycho-oncology, contributing to the enrichment of this discipline.ObjectiveDescribe the history of psycho-oncology in Portugal. Research articles and theses related to Psycho-oncology in Portugal and do his description statistics.Material and methodsLiterature review of articles and theses on Psycho-oncology made in Portugal, using the following search engines: “Pubmed”, “Medline”, “ScieloPortugal” and scientific repositories of Portuguese universities.ResultsUntil 1997, psycho-oncology did not arouse the interest of researchers; however, since then, the Psycho-oncology has grown exponentially, with regard to the investigation. There was a period of increase in publications between 2005 and 2012 as well as, increase in the number of undergraduate theses, master's and doctorate. Disclosure of publications within the Psycho-oncology lies spread by various magazines in different specialties, demonstrating that this area arouses the interest not only of psychiatrists and psychologists, but also of other health professionals.ConclusionDespite growing research in Psycho-oncology and growing interest among clinicians and researchers, there is still some shortcomings, warning that the psychological support is also scarce in some Portuguese institutions.Disclosure of interestThe authors have not supplied their declaration of competing interest.

Abstract At the end of the 1950s, 200 coffee tables and other furniture and fittings were created by interior designers who won a design competition organized by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) in Ankara. The tables were envisioned to be made by modern ceramic artists and designers of the time. Despite never meeting, they created joint works that were celebrated at the time for their artistic quality. The coffee tables, which were used by government ministers, were useful for introducing ceramics into government interiors while informing the leaders of a modernizing Turkish nation about modern art. This study traces the stories behind the creation of these unique artworks based on the personal stories of Füreya Koral, Sadun Ersin, and the Taylan Ceramics Atelier, who were all significant contributors to the history of this furniture. The method used included literature review, a comprehensive archival research through popular magazines, and interviews with artists and designers of the time. The interviews helped uncover data that could not be accessed otherwise. The findings contribute to Turkish and international design history, uncovering artworks and identifying modernist artists and designers of the time in Turkey.

AbstractReports of incidental pneumomediastinum in infants secondary to inflicted trauma are limited. A retrospective review of infants with pneumomediastinum and history of inflicted trauma was performed. A comprehensive literature review was performed. Three infants presented with pneumomediastinum associated with inflicted trauma. Mean age was 4.6 weeks. All patients underwent diagnostic studies, as well as a standardized evaluation for nonaccidental trauma. All patients with pneumomediastinum were resolved at follow-up. Review of the literature identified other cases with similar presentations with related oropharyngeal injuries. Spontaneous pneumomediastinum in previously healthy infants may be associated with inflicted injuries. Clinicians should be aware of the possibility of an oropharyngeal perforation related to this presentation.

This article investigates the trajectory of the Grêmio Dramático, Recreativo e Literário Elite da Liberdade (the Liberdade Elite Guild of Drama, Recreation, and Literature), a black club active in São Paulo, Brazil, from 1919 to 1927. The aim is to reconstruct aspects of the club’s history in light of its educational discourse on civility, which was used as a strategy to promote modern virtues in the black milieu. By appropriating the precepts of civility, Elite da Liberdade helped construct a positive black identity, enabled the creation of bonds of solidarity among its members, and made itself a place of resistance and struggle for social inclusion, recognition, and citizens’ rights.

Abstract The article first surveys Greek interpretations of the creation of the Russian Holy Synod by Peter the Great. It provides a critical assessment of the historiographical paradigm offered by N.F. Kapterev for the analysis of Greek-Russian relations in the early modern period. Finally, it proposes that scholars should focus on a Greek history of Greek-Russian relations as a complement and possibly corrective to the Kapterev paradigm.
