<p>The research aimed to determine the effect of reading comprehension skills on the ability to solve math word problems and to determine the contribution of reading comprehension skills on the ability to solve math word problems to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was a quantitative research with regression method. The population were all fourth grade students in Kebumen Sub-district. The samples were 324 fourth grade. Sampling method was probability sampling technique. The data collection technique used tests. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect between reading comprehension skills on the ability to solve math word problems to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The value of determination coefficient (R Square) was 0.214. The reading comprehension skills contributed 21.3% on the ability to solve math word problems and the remaining 78.7% was influenced by other factors. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kemampuan membaca pemahaman terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika dan mengetahui besarnya sumbangan kemampuan membaca pemahaman terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Kebumen Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode regresi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 324 siswa yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan membaca pemahaman terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan nilai (R Square) sebesar 0,214. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman memberikan sumbangan terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika sebesar 21,3 % dan sisanya sebesar 78,7 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.</p><div> </div>

<p id="docs-internal-guid-1ea9b23d-7fff-3b15-c7a7-e00ae4db148e" dir="ltr">The study aimed to prove the effect of reading comprehension skills on the ability of solving word problems and to determine the effect of reading comprehension skills on the ability of solving word problems to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Alian Sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020. It was quantitative research with correlation method. The sampling method was cluster random sampling with the help of Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) application version 16. From data analysis, correlation coefficient of reading comprehension skills on the ability of solving word problems was 0,610 and it was strong correlation. Reading comprehension skills affected the ability of solving word problems by 37.2%. It concludes that there is positive effect of reading comprehension skills on the ability of solving word problems. It means that the higher students' reading comprehension skills, the higher students’ word problems solving ability and vice versa.  Reading comprehension skills contributed 37.2% on the ability of solving word problems.</p>

<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p><em>The study aimed to determine positive effect between parental attention on mathematics learning outcomes and to determine positive effect between parents’ spontaneous attention on the mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kutowinangun sub district in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was quantitative research with regression method. The SPSS application was applied to analyze regression data. The results showed that the effect of parental attention on mathematics learning outcomes was 55.5% and the effect of parents’ spontaneous attention on mathematics learning outcomes was 31.8% with a Sig. F Change = 0.000 &lt;0.05. It meant that having much parental attention, the higher the students' mathematics learning outcomes. The value of adjusted R square of parental attention on mathematics learning outcomes was 67%. It concludes that there is positive and significant effect between parental attention and mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kutowinangun sub district.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> parental attention, mathematics learning outcomes</em><em></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><strong><em>Abstrak </em></strong></p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya pengaruh positif antara jenis perhatian disengaja terhadap hasil belajar matematika dan pengaruh positif antara jenis perhatian spontan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kutowinangun tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode regresi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pada analisis data penelitian, peneliti menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dalam menganalisis regresi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh jenis perhatian orang tua disengaja terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 55,5 % dan pengaruh jenis perhatian orang tua jenis spontan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 31,8 % dengan nilai Sig. F Change = 0,000 &lt; 0,05. Nilai sumbangan efektif variabel perhatian orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika yaitu sebesar 67%. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara perhatian orang tua dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kutowinangun.</p>Kata Kunci: perhatian orang tua, hasil belajar matematika

<p><em>The study aimed to determine the correlation between interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Prembun Sub-district and to measure the contribution of interest in learning on mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Prembun Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was correlational quantitative method. Sampling method was with cluster random sampling technique with the help of SPSS application. The samples were 226 fourth grade students in eleven elementary schools throughout the Prembun Sub-district. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data Analysis used simple correlation test and adjusted R square with a significance level of 5%. The correlation test was sig = 0.000 (sig &lt;0.05) and the result of correlation coefficient between interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes was 0.486. It concludes that there is positive and significant correlation between interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Prembun Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. Interest in learning contributes 23.69% on mathematics learning outcomes.</em></p>

<em>The study aimed to determine the interest in learning on social science before and after having scramble learning model to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Pejagoan Subdistrict Kebumen Regency in academic year of 2019/2020.The research was a pre-experimental quantitative design in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design.The results indicated that the Sig.</em>(2-<em>tailed</em>)<em> in the hypothesis test was 0,000</em>&lt; 0,05<em>. The result of t<sub>count</sub>&gt;t<sub>table</sub> was 4,350 &gt; 2,010. In addition, based on the average score of interest in learning of social science, the pretest was 150.00310 and the posttest was 155.52406. It meant that the application of the Scramble learning model effected in increasing students' interest in learning in social science.It concludes that there is difference between the interest in learning on social science before and after having scramble learning model to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in PejagoanSubdistrictKebumen Regency in academic year of 2019/2020</em>

Reading comprehension is still considered as a part of new literacy required to encounter the Industry 4.0. Reading comprehension in this era is related to reading the data presented in technology. In addition to students’ ability to understand readings, students sort positive and negative information in a reading through reading comprehension. Students can also get used to utilize the internet access to read various information and stories. Therefore, the presence of the Industry 4.0 is considered to not have negative effects on students. This research focuses on examining the online magazine-based reading workshop model towards the improvement of fourth grade students’ reading comprehension skills. The research employed quasi experiment methods with a nonequivalent group design. The research sample was selected purposively from fourth grade students in primary schools in Cimahi City. The data were collected using the test of reading comprehension skills and were analyzed using inferential statistics with the assistance of the SPSS 21.0 program. Through this research, the researchers are expected that the online magazine-based reading workshop model has an effect on the improvement of the fourth-grade students’ reading comprehension skills.

<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The objectives of research were: (1) to determine positive correlation of parental attention on mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021 and (2) to measure the contribution of parental attention on mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was correlational quantitative method. The samples were 327 fourth grade students in thirteen public elementary schools throughout the Kebumen Sub-district. Sampling method was cluster random sampling with the help of the SPSS application. The data collection technique used questionnaires and tests. The results indicated that (1) parental attention had positive and significant correlation on mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub-district and the value was 0.349. It was considered as moderate correlation. (2) The parental attention contributed 12.2% on mathematics learning outcomes and the remaining 87.8% was influenced by other factors such as interests, talents, intelligence, study habits, perseverance, family environment, school environment, and community environment.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><em>: Parental Attention, Mathematics Learning Outcomes<strong></strong></em></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan positif perhatian orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021, (2) mengetahui besarnya sumbangan perhatian orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi dengan sampel penelitiannya yaitu 327 siswa kelas IV SD di tiga belas SDN Se-Kecamatan Kebumen yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perhatian orang tua berhubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Se-Kecamatan Kebumen dengan tingkat korelasi sedang yaitu 0,349. (2) Sumbangan variabel perhatian orang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 12,2% dan sisanya 87,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti minat, bakat, kecerdasan, kebiasaan belajar, ketekunan, lingkungan keluarga, sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat.</p><p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: Perhatian Orang Tua, Hasil Belajar Matematika</p>

<p>Adversity quotient is one of the internal factors affecting student’s online learning outcomes for natural science.<strong><em> </em></strong><em>The study aimed to examine positive effect of adversity quotient on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021 and to determine the contribution of adversity quotient on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. It was a quantitative research with simple linear regression method. The population were 749 fourth grade students and the samples were 261 fourth grade students throughout Klirong Sub-district. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used SPSS 25 version. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant effect of adversity quotient on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The adversity quotient contributed 22% </em>with a value of Sig. 0.000 &lt; 0.05<em>. It meant that the higher student's adversity quotient, the higher student's natural science learning outcomes and vice versa; (2) the adversity quotient contributed 22% on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students and the remaining 78% was influenced by other factors.<strong></strong></em></p><p> </p>

<p class="Abstract"><em>The purpose of this study is to improve reading comprehension skills with the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model</em><em>. </em><em>This type of research was classroom action research. This research carried out for two-cycle with each cycle consisting of four activities that are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The techniques used to collect data in this study include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data validity techniques used were instrument content validity, source triangulation, and technique triangulation. Data analysis in this study uses comparative descriptive analysis techniques and interactive data analysis.</em><em> </em><em>The results of research that have been carried out at the pre-action stage, the class average is 45.69 with classical completeness is 14.29%. The class average increased in the cycle I with an average grade is 68.25 and classical completeness 57.14%, then increased again in cycle II with an average class 79.30 and classical completeness 85.71%. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the application of the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model can improve reading comprehension skills on the fourth-grade students of the elementary school of Banyurip academic year 2018/2019.</em></p>

<p><em>Interest in learning affects student learning outcomes in learning process. Lack of students’ interest in learning makes low social science learning outcomes</em><em>. </em><em>The study aimed to determine the positive correlation between students' interest in learning and social science learning outcomes and to determine the contribution of interest in learning to social science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020.</em><em> </em><em>It was quantitative research design with correlation method. The sampling method used cluster random sampling technique. The result indicated that there was positive correlation between interest in learning and social science learning outcomes with low correlation level which was 0.245. The adjusted R square value of interest in learning to social science learning outcomes was 5.96%.</em><em> </em><em>It concludes that there is positive correlation between interest in learning and social science learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020.</em></p>
