<p><em>Gorontalo is one of the provinces located on the island of Sulawesi, at that time Gorontalo was still part of North Sulawesi but they decided to separate and create a new province. This paper describes how a son of Gorontalo was able to show his sense of nationalism and leadership towards the struggle for Indonesian independence, especially in pre-independence times in Gorontalo. Nani Wartabone is now a national hero. Nani Wartabone is the son of Gorontalo who began actively fighting for Indonesia since junior high school and he also worked a lot of leadership in the field of politics, social, education and economy. The method used in this writing is the study of literature from journals and books relevant to this article. The purpose of this literature review is to explore further the leadership of Nani Wartabone. From the results of this literature study can be drawn conclusions where the leadership attitude of Nani Wartabone can be used as a suri tauladan for high school students as a booster of leadership character in the future.</em></p>

Various types of educational devices that are used as a support for the creation of a good education are certainly important. One of them is using an effective method to provide a concept to students optimally. This study aims to analyze how high and important the influence of the experimental method on science subjects at the junior high school. The method used is a qualitative research method with a mini survey method on 47 samples consisting of junior high school students, high school students, college students, and alumni students as well as a literature study method (library study) which is carried out by screening electronic books (e-books) and e- journals. The results showed that 94% of experimental research methods were effectively used and 6% were not effectively used in the science learning process. The effectiveness of this method is that students can prove that an accepted concept is in accordance with the given theory and students can hone their psychomotor abilities. The weakness of this method is that it can be seen from the inadequate infrastructure, the ability of teachers, controlling students, and the selection of practicum materials.

The major objective of this study was to examine factors related to intentions to use drugs in the future by urban junior high school students. One hundred forty-eight subjects enrolled in Health Education classes were administered four questionnaires during two consecutive classroom sessions: 1) the Stanford University Drug Evaluation Questionnaire; 2) the Drug Attitude Scale of the Pennsylvania State University Drug Education Evaluation Scale; 3) the Self-Observation Scales; and 4) the School Atmosphere Questionnaire. The results indicated that: adolescents who currently report using drugs had a significantly higher mean anticipatory use score than those who reported that they did not use drugs; subjects who had friends who used drugs had a higher mean anticipatory drug use score than subjects who did not have friends who used drugs; adolescents with a pro-drug attitude had more ambiguous feelings toward future drug use when compared to adolescents who were anti-drug; subjects who were low in self-security and teacher affiliation anticipated using drugs more than subjects high in self-security and teacher affiliation. Current drug use, friend's drug use, attitude toward drugs and self-concept all play an important role in the adolescent's intentions to use drugs in the future.

This study aims to determine relationship between nutritional status and physical freshness levels with learning outcomes of physical, sports and health education. This research is a descriptive study with correlation techniques. This research is conducted at Junior High School I of Tondano, Sangihe Islands, North Sulawesi Province. Based on the results of research and discussion, some conclusions can be drawn as follows: 1) There is a relationship between nutritional status with learning outcomes of physical, sports and health education in Junior High School students I of Tondano; 2) There is a relationship between physical freshness with learning outcomes of physical, sports and health education in Junior High School students I of Tondano; 3) There is a relationship between nutritional status and physical freshness together with learning outcomes of physical, sports and health education in Junior High School students I of Tondano.

Abstract: The prevalence of adolescent tobacco users in Indonesia continues to increase, while on the other hand the marketing of cigarettes through advertising is still often found. This Literature review aims to find out the results of previous research on the influence of advertising on smoking behavior of junior high school students in Indonesia for the last 10 years. The research method used is literature review by following the flow diagram of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) as well as the help of Axis Tools as a Critical Appraisal. The result of this literature review, 7 out of 9 articles reviewed stated a significant influence between cigarette advertising and student smoking behavior. The domain of targeted behavior is practice, including the act of trying cigarettes for the first time as well as the formation of perceptions about cigarettes in accordance with the description of the ad. It can be concluded that the influence of exposure to the ads is directly proportional to the smoking behavior of high school students in Indonesia. Abstrak: Prevalensi pengguna tembakau usia remaja di Indonesia terus meningkat, sedang di sisi lain pemasaran rokok melalui iklan masih sering ditemukan, Literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian terdahulu mengenai pengaruh iklan terhadap perilaku merokok siswa sekolah menengah pertama di Indonesia selama 10 tahun terakhir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kajian pustaka dengan mengikuti diagram alir Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) serta bantuan Axis Tools sebagai Critical Appraisal.  Hasil yang didapatkan dari literature review ini, 7 dari 9 artikel yang dikaji menyatakan adanya pengaruh signifikan antara iklan rokok dengan perilaku merokok siswa. Domain perilaku yang disasar ialah praktik, termasuk adanya tindakan mencoba rokok untuk pertama kali serta terbentuknya persepsi mengenai rokok yang sesuai dengan gambaran iklan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh paparan iklan berbanding lurus dengan adanya perilaku merokok siswa sekolah menengah pertama di Indonesia.

AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan studi literatur yang betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek yang diterapkan dalam materi statistika pada siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Dalam artikel ini juga menyajikan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) sebagai alternatif dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan telaah literatur dari penelitian yang relevan diperoleh kemampuan lierasi dan penalaran statistis baik siswa SMP maupun SMA masih dalam kategori rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena sangat dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Dalam model pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini guru diberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan pembelajaran yang melibatkan kerja proyek. Hasil akhir dari kerja proyek tersebut  dapat berupa laporan dan presestasi. Adapun penilaian tugas proyek diawali dari proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan,  dan akhir tugas proyek. Oleh karena itu model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran. Abstract (Conducting Project Based Learning in Statistics of 8th Grade Junior High School Students)This article is a literature study which aims to describe the Project-Based Learning Model that is applied in statistical material for students of grade VIII of junior high school. In this article also presents a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) as an alternative in the implementation of learning. Based on the review of literature from relevant research, it was found that the ability and statistical statistics of junior and senior high schools were still in the low category. This happens because very much the text by the learning model is applied. In the learning, project, development, development and development models. The end result of the work can be in the form of reports and presentations. Arrange the work done from the project planning, implementation and final project. Therefore, project-based learning models can be used as an alternative in learning.
