isomorphic and conventional to open-ended can reflect students' learning difficulties on kinematic's graphs. This study used a quantitative descriptive form of survey research. The respondents were twenty-nine senior high school students from Semarang. The instruments were adopted from the Test of Understanding Graphs-Kinematic (TUG-K) by Robert J.Beichner (1994). There were nine questions used from the TUG-K with open-ended questions that have been validated. The results show that students have difficulties learning about kinematic's graphs, and there is no relation between open-ended scores and the other two scores. Nonetheless, judging from the correlation coefficient, the correlation between open-ended and conventional tasks is 0.075, which means low correlation, while for isomorphic score and open-ended score in the amount of 0.109 is higher than the correlation of traditional and open-ended. This correlation is insignificant. However, the closest correlation direction to the open-ended test is isomorphic compared to the conventional one. Therefore, it is concluded that isomorphic assessment is more useful than traditional review in kinematic graphics.

Discipline in class is essential. Without it the educational processes and teachings are difficult. In this manner curricula goals are almost impossible to achieve. There are and there always will be some kind of conflicts between teachers and students, but they should not evolve to become a problem. Teachers (especially elderly teachers) often express pessimism of contemporary students. They say that today's students have less knowledge, they do misbehave more often than previous generations. A study among students was conducted. It was trying to determine the rate of discipline in schools in Celje to see if these statements are true. The questionnaire to students of one primary and one high school in Celje, Slovenia were distributed. The answers from 234 students were received. On the one hand, it was found out that senior high school students have the worst level of discipline of all the grades tested. They themselves assess their class atmosphere as less disciplined. They report that teachers use a lot of time to calm the class down. All this is probably a factor in lower average grade that the senior high school students have. On the other hand, it was found out that teachers do not react to the disturbance or they are trying to be repressive. These are not the correct ways of dealing with discipline issues. Therefore, there are some recommended ways how teachers should react. Keywords: discipline in class, primary school, contemporary student, elderly teachers.

Abstract: This study was aimed to know problem solving skill of senior high school students in heat and temperature. The study was used descriptive-quantitative method and the sample of research was twelve grade students. The instruments that already used as a number of question problem solving skill had 0.732 reliability. The result was analyzed by using rubric of problem solving that already developed by Doctor. The result was obtained that problem solving skill was medium category. This category was included useful description and physics approach. On the other hand, mathematical procedure and logical progression were included as low category.

This research aims to identify class XI MIPA1 senior high school students, who experience misconceptions on the kinetic theory of gas. The method used to determine students who experience misconceptions is the Certainty Response Index (IRK) method. This method has four indexes in identifying students' mastery of concepts, namely lucky guess (LG), not knowing concept (NKC/TTK), knowing concept (KC/TK), and misconception (M). The subjects of the study were senior high school students in class XI MIPA1 in Tasik Malaya. The research instrument used was a kinetic theory of gas test equipped with an IRK scale assessment instrument. This research is a quantitative descriptive research that can determine weaknesses in understanding students' physics concepts with the IRK method. The results of data analysis using IRK revealed that students who experienced lucky guess (LG) were 9.0%, students who knew the concept (TK) were 35.2%, students who lacked knowledge or did not know the concept (TTK) were 21.9%, and students experiencing misconceptions (M) of 33.8%. Based on the sub-topic analysis, the level of misconception the results are also in the high category. Thus it was concluded that through the IRK method it was identified that most students were still experiencing misconceptions, did not know the concepts, and were lucky guessed in understanding the kinetic theory of gas in the class XI MIPA1 of senior high school in Tasik Malaya.

This research is motivated by the difference in the average score of the National Examination on geography subjects at State Senior High Schools in Banjarmasin City in 2018/2019 with successively experiencing the lowest scores with less criteria, namely in SMA Negeri 11 Banjarmasin, SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin and SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin. This study aims to analyze the internal factors that influence the geography learning difficulties of State Senior High School students in Banjarmasin City, analyze the external factors that influence the geography learning difficulties of State Senior High School students in Banjarmasin City and analyze the dominant factors in influencing the geography learning difficulties of State Senior High School students in Banjarmasin City. This research used a descriptive-quantitative method. The data analysis technique used percentages. The results showed that the percentage of internal factors consisting of health factors (32%), interests (22%), motivation (21%) and study habits (67%), external factors consisting of family factors (40%), school ( 10%) and society (61%) and the most dominant factor influencing the difficulty of learning geography for State Senior High School students in Banjarmasin City is the internal factor, namely study habits (67%).

The purpose of this study is to improve speaking skills after the application of Debate Method to senior high school students of class XII -A in Ulumuddin boarding school Utenkot, Cunda - Lhokseumawe for academic years 2018 - 2019. The kind of this research is classroom action research conducted in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation / evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are senior high school students of class XII-A who are 25 students and the object of this research is speaking skills. Data collection in this study is carried out by the method of observation, interviews and diagnostic tests. Data is analyzed by quantitative descriptive and statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that there is an increase in the percentage of speaking skills of senior high school students of class XI -A in sides of pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Based on the results of the analysis in the first cycle the average student's speaking skills are obtained as much as 70% ("medium" category). Then in the second cycle students' skills improved. The average speaking skills of students are 74% ("medium" category). And in the third cycle the average skill of students are 81.4% ("high" category). Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the application of the debate method can improve students' speaking skills in terms of pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and sentence structure.

This research had the objective to identify some causes of the learning difficulties in mathematics. Based on a field research, carried out through questionnaires to senior High School students , and their maths teachers, we wanted to answer the following questions: Why is mathematics one of the most difficult subjects for? How can students and teachers overcome these difficulties if they know what causes them? With a literature review on the topic, we identified some of the causes, such as the training of teachers who work in the initial grades, the influence of family and the methodologies used by mathematics teachers. After the field research we observed that the difficulties can also be related to lack of understanding and interpretation, superficial learning and concentration problems.
