Abstrak Kesejahteraan psikologis merupakan evaluasi seseorang tentang kehidupannya terkait penerimaan dirinya dalam sisi kehidupan yang positif maupun negatif sehingga mendapatkan kepuasan dan kebahagiaan. Mahasiswa yang sudah menikah kemudian berkuliah diperhadapkan dengan peran ganda baik sebagai suami/istri yang perlu menafkahi dan mengurus rumah tangga maupun sebagai mahasiswa dengan berbagai tuntutan akademik yang perlu diselesaikan. Hal ini menjadi tantangan baik dari pribadi mahasiswa sendiri maupun lingkungan eksternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa yang sudah menikah kemudian berkuliah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ditetapkan menggunakan purposive sampling, jumlah subjek 3 orang mahasiswa dengan kriteria berstatus menikah (menikah kemudian berkuliah), memiliki usia pernikahan di atas 5 tahun, rentang usia 20-50 tahun, dan merupakan mahasiswa jurusan Pastoral Konseling IAKN Kupang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian yaitu pedoman wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis meliputi data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang sudah menikah kemudian berkuliah di Jurusan Pastoral Konseling IAKN Kupang memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis yang baik dilihat dari aspek penerimaan diri, hubungan yang positif dengan sesama, otonomi, penguasaan lingkungan, tujuan hidup dan pertumbuhan pribadi. Kata kunci: kesejahteraan psikologis, kuliah, mahasiswa, menikah   The Psychological Well-Being of Married Students Abstract Psychological well-being is an evaluation of a person about his life related to his acceptance of himself in the positive and negative sides of life so as to get satisfaction and happiness. Married students are then faced with a dual role, both as husband / wife who need to support and take care of the household as well as students with various academic demands that need to be resolved. This is a challenge both from the student's own person and the external environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the psychological well-being of students who were married and then went to university. The research method used is qualitative. The research subjects were determined using purposive sampling, the number of subjects was 3 students with the criteria of being married (married then studying), having a marriage age above 5 years, age range 20-50 years, and were students majoring in Pastoral Counseling IAKN Kupang. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. The research instruments were interview and observation guidelines. Analysis techniques include data reduction, display data and conclusion drawing / verification. The results showed that married students who then studied at the Pastoral Counseling Department of IAKN Kupang had good psychological well-being in terms of self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, environmental control, life goals and personal growth. This paper aims to investigate the psychological well-being in relation to group socio-cognitive factors at work. Data was collected on a sample of 133 participants that were employed and had a manager at the time of filling in the scales. The results support the mediation role of trust between transformational and organizational identification. Organizational identification totally mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and psychological well being and its subscales: purpose in life, positive relationships with others, environmental control. The relationship between transformational leadership and self acceptance, personal growth and positive relations with other was mediated by the trust in coworkers.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk  menguji validitas konstruk dari psychological well-being scale.  Dalam  penelitian  ini peneliti  menguji enam  dimensi  psychological well-being  dari  Ryff (1989)  yaitu, self-acceptance, positive relation with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, dan personal growth dengan jumlah 42 item. Subjek penelitian adalah perawat  pada salah satu Rumah Sakit di Jakarta Cempaka Putih  yang  terdiri  dari 171 orang.  Metode  analisis  data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) dengan bantuan software  lisrel  8.70.  Berdasarkan  perhitungan  dengan  metode  CFA  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa semua dimensi memerlukan modifikasi model pengukuran untuk memperoleh nilai fit. The purpose of this study is to examine construct validity from psychological well-being scale. In this study researchers tested six dimensions of psychological well-being from Ryff (1989), namely, self-acceptance, positive relations with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth with a total of 42 items. The research subjects were nurses at one of the hospitals in Jakarta Cempaka Putih consisting of 171 people. The data analysis method used in this study is confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with the help of lisrel 8.70 software. Based on calculations using the CFA method it can be concluded that all dimensions require modification of the measurement model to obtain a fit value.

The pandemic has brought changes so wide in Indonesia, and also for the students psychological well-being. This research aims to describe psychological well-being the final year students of IAIN Surakarta. The research method used a qualitative method. Informants the research were 10 student semester 9. Technique of analyzing data through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed the psychological well-being of students in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic was good, some was not good. Students who have good psychological well-being, are shown by having environmental mastery, autonomy, life goals, personal growth, self-acceptance, positive relationships with family, friends, and their supervisors. Subjects can be grateful for situation and take advantage of all limitations. Students who have poor psychological well-being tend to be often anxious, afraid, lazy and resigned to their situation without being accompanied by efforts to be productive, and unable to develop themselves in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic.

Psychological Well-Being adalah suatu kemampuan individu merealisasikan serta mengoptimalkan dirinya dengan cara menerima diri seutuhnya, memilki kemandirian dan tidak terpengaruh dari tekanan luar, mampu mengontrol lingkungan di sekitarnya, mampu membangun relasi sosial, memiliki tujuan hidup yang jelas, serta dapat merealisasikan potensi dirinya secara kontinyu. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi psychological well-being mahasiswa ialah keterlibatan mengikuti ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara keterlibatan mengikuti ekstrakurikuler dengan pscyhological well-being. Pengambil sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Surabaya sebanyak 192 mahasiswa (131 perempuan dan 61 laki-laki). Teknik analisis yang digunakan ialah uji hipotesis dengan Pearson. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya korelasi siginifikan positif antara keterlibatan mengikuti ekstrakurikuler dengan psychlogical well-being (r = 0.154, p = 0.033). Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan keterlibatan mengikuti ekstrakurikuler dengan psychological well-being ialah sebesar 2%. Keterlibatan mengikuti ekstrakurikuler berkorelasi dengan aspek psychological well-being yakni aspek personal growth (r = 0.177, p = 0.014) dan aspek positive realtion with others (r = 0.0215, p = 0.003).

This study aim to determine the dynamics of the psychological well-being in children with special needs in inclusive schools and the factors that affect the psychological well-being in children with special needs in inclusive schools. Data collection in this study was conducted using semi-structured interview techniques. Analysis of the data used refers to the opinions of Miles and Hubermen through 3 steps, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) The four research subjects had independence in carrying out daily activities and had good environmental control; 2) In determining the purpose of life, the four subjects have had their dreams, but have not been able to direct them; 3) The positive relationship of the subject to others, is influenced by the response of others to the subject. If the environment conducts bullying actions on the subject, then the subject feels threatened to be in the environment; 4) Factors that affect psychological well-being subjects in inclusive schools, namely economic, social, learning systems, and subject characteristics.

Purpose:To determine whether individuals participating in a program designed to accumulate 10,000 steps/ day demonstrate health, fitness and psychological benefits.Methods:Sedentary individuals (22 F, 7 M; age 59.8 ± 5.78 yr) were randomly assigned into a walking (W, n = 14) or control (C, n = 15) group. Following baseline assessment, the W group was given a daily plan to reach 10,000 steps/day within 3 weeks and asked to maintain this level for 12 weeks; the C group was asked to maintain their current activity. Participants were evaluated for cardiovascular endurance, resting and postexercise HR, functional ability, cholesterol, psychological well-being, and exercise self-efficacy before and following the 15-week program.Results:Significant changes over time were noted between groups (G×T; P < .05) with the W group demonstrating improvements in postexercise HR (−6.51%), total cholesterol (TC: −7.74%), and personal growth (2.53%). While not statistically significant, the W group also demonstrated improvements in 6 min walk distance (2.32%), total/HDL ratio (−10.09%), 8 foot up-and-go time (−3.35%), chair stands (6.17%), flexibility (128%), and environmental mastery (4.54%).Conclusion:A 15-week program aimed at accumulating 10,000 steps/day improves cardiovascular performance and personal growth and also positively influences many variables that are indicators of health, fitness and psychological well-being.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara gratitude dengan psychological well-being pada orangtua dari anak penyandang Talasemia di POPTI Bandung. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan positif antara gratitude dengan psychological well-being pada orangtua dari anak penyandang Talasemia di POPTI Bandung. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 243 orangtua dari anak penyandang Talasemia di POPTI Bandung menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Uji asumsi yang digunakan terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan SPSS versi 17.0 for Windows. Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore the psychological well-being of people living around landfills, which constitutes a preliminary case study localized in Samarinda city, Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach This current study used a descriptive, participatory case study design. For data collection, interviews and participatory observation were used. Specifically, this case study took place in Samarinda City, Indonesia. Findings The psychological well-being of the people living around landfills was indicated very low in the light of psychological well-being such as personal growth, life’s goals and self-acceptance dimensions. Research limitations/implications Psychological well-being is part of an attitude of gratitude, thus making individuals happy and satisfied in life. The results of this study point to the fact that people who live around landfills have low psychological well-being due to lack of support from the community and government. In addition, with this research, people who live near landfills are very happy because they feel cared for and care about their condition. People who live near landfills expect the government and surrounding communities to know about their situation so that they become prosperous and well-being. In addition, providing medical team services, sending clean water and providing good solutions can help people who live near landfills. The limitation of this preliminary study was that researchers could deeply explore the lives of people in the next research. Besides, the next research can provide a camera or voice recorder in the state of only observation. In addition, the researcher can analyze more deeply in the next research. The final limitation was that participants could not have enough time to interact with, thus, the researcher could not collect the data to explore further. Practical implications Base on the result in this study, the government needs to have the policy to take care of those people who stay near landfills, for example, improving drinking water, establish the health management and giving a right to people to stay near landfills. Social implications By improving the growing environment, the people live near landfills can have some changes in their life. In addition, the negative stereotype and prejudice can be decreased and establish a more friendly society and increasing their well-being. Originality/value The participants were found to be problematic, primarily in managing their environment and influencing their personal growth. On top of that, the participants appeared to possess a lack exposure of to social interaction with other communities, which might cause them social gap and lack of caring perceived toward the surrounding environment, lack of better life’s goals, the disappointment of current conditions due to low educational and skill backgrounds. Nonetheless, the participants were still of gratefulness upon the situation for they were still granted health for studies to support their families. Besides, the participants did not show any positive attitudes toward themselves because of the disappointment of their condition and personal qualities.

Abstract Previous work focusing on the relationship between Internet use and quality of life among older adults (aged 65+) has found evidence of various positive impacts. This project expands upon this work by examining the relationship between Internet use and measures of psychological well-being (PWB) including autonomy, environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relations with others, purpose in life, and self-acceptance. The analytic sample is derived from two waves of data (Time 1 = 2004, Time 2 = 2011) taken from the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study and includes a sample of older adults aged~65 at Time 1 (N = 4943). Participants were separated into four categories: those who did not use the Internet at Time 1 or 2, those who used the Internet at Time 1 only, those who used the Internet at Time 2 only, and those who used the Internet at both Time 1 and 2. Regression analyses were performed with the Time 2 PWB measures as the outcomes and the Internet use categories as the primary predictors. Results indicate that while continuous Internet users typically reported higher PWB scores compared to non-users, those who stopped use between Time 1 and 2 also reported higher scores and those who started use between Time 1 and 2 reported lower scores. These results generally held when introducing Time 1 PWB measures as controls, suggesting changes in Internet use may affect PWB but not necessarily in the predicted directions. Additional control variables, potential explanations, and implications for future research are discussed.
