This study aimed to create and evaluate an online decision support system (DSS) which allows students to take a multiple intelligence test, determine their most dominant intelligence, suggest the most suitable courses to take for college and provide an interpretation for the result of the evaluation. The system captures the knowledge of an expert in guidance and counseling and embodied it to its knowledge base using fuzzy logic, graph search, and depth-first search. The system was tested at the University of Iloilo–Basic Education Department, Iloilo City, and Tabugon National High School, Tabugon, Dingle, Iloilo by a conveniently chosen graduating high school students. The result of the system was evaluated by 39 guidance counselors from the different secondary schools from the province and city of Iloilo. The evaluation of the system’s functionality was assessed by 15 respondents from the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector using the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9126. The reliability of the system was evaluated by comparing the system output with the two other assessment tools from Western Visayas College of Science and Technology (Weber standard) and the University of Iloilo (NDDCTE standard). Using Cramer’s V, the result of the evaluation of the NDDCTE standard as compared to the Decision Support System of the data taken from the University of Iloilo and the data taken from Tabugon National High School has a significant relationship. It implies that there is no significant difference in the results of the two evaluations. The result of the evaluation using Cramer’s V of the Weber standard as compared to the Decision Support System of the data taken from the University of Iloilo and the data taken from Tabugon National High School has a significant relationship. It implies that the two results are highly related to each other. Using arithmetic mean (M) and standard deviation (SD), the result of the evaluation of the system’s output based on the perception of 39 guidance counselors resulted in a “Very Satisfactory” result. This implies that the system generates the dominant intelligence of the student, provide accurate course and study tips based on his/ her dominant intelligence. The evaluation of the respondents to the system’s software quality characteristics based on ISO 9126 resulted in a value described as “Very Effective”. It confirmed that the overall software characteristics of the system passed the ISO 9126 standards.

Decision support system is a combination of individual intelligence sources with the ability of components to improve the quality of decisions. Decision support systems are also computer-based information systems for management decision-making that deal with semi-structured problems. With a decision support system makes it easier for us to determine the decisions for majors of high school students. Because the determination of this department is very influential with the future of students. So from that the author conducted this study to facilitate students in determining majors. So that these two methods can be compared and find the best results in making decisions about the majors of high school students.

The K to 12 Basic Education program uses standards and a competency-based grading system. These are found in the curriculum guides. All grades will be based on the weighted raw score of the learners’ summative assessments. Senior High School Students have been graded on three categories the written work, performance tasks, and quarterly assessments. Technology plays a substantial role in helping teachers in the progress, communication, application, and grading of assessment tasks. Thus, this study aims to produce a feasible computerized grading system that will address these issues and problems encountered by the teachers in recording and monitoring grades. The developed K12 Senior High School Students Academic Performance Monitoring System for Private Institutions with Decision Support System was compliant with ISO 25010 quality standards as assessed by SHS Principal, SHS Faculty/ Teachers, and IT Experts. The developed system followed the policy and guidelines set by the department of education in the grading system. The decision support system of the developed system helped the senior high school principal and teachers in monitoring the grades and performance of the students in every subject. Monitoring the performance of the students academically and non-academically, and classifying the students who have at risk in their academic performance.

A Constraint in education order to produce qualified graduates is a traditional mindset of many schools in students’ majoring which only emphasizes on students’ grades. The fact is similar to ideas that expressed by Seto Mulyadi (2003), a practitioner of the child's education. He said that it was a big mistake if student achievement only measured on grades at the end of the semester.Senior High school is upper level of formal education in Indonesia, after graduating from junior high school. Students study at senior high school within 3 years as they  study at Islamic senior high school (MAN) 2 Padang Panjang, ranging from grade 10 to grade 12. In the second year or at the grade 11, students may choose one of the majors that exist in schools, namely, science, social, and Religious. In designing the decision support system for students’ majoring at MAN 2 Padang Panjang,   an artificial neural network based on Multiple Intelligence is needed. Furthermore, Java programming and MySQL are also required.  The results of the data analysis showed that the design of a decision support system for students’ majoring at MAN 2 Padang Panjang by using artificial neural network was successfully implemented, and the system can help the teachers to simplify the implementation of students’ majoring. Grant scholarships to students are conducted by the University based on the achievements achieved. Since the last few years Bhayangkara University has run a Joint Degree Program scholarship in cooperation with Thailand, India, and plans to continue to the Netherlands. In scholarship grants, the Universityoften finds it difficult to determine the scholarship recipients, so it is found that scholarships are not accurate due to the manual system for the awarding of scholarships. The decision support system is an information system aimed at assisting the University in solving the problem of awarding Joint Degree Program scholarship. One method that can be used in decision support systems is Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP). The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method takes into account the extent of validity to the extent of inconsistency tolerance of the various criteria and alternatives chosen by the decision maker. In this research, the data used is UBHARA student data 3 last generation. The criteria used are GPA, TOEFL score, TPA Test Score, and Value of Communication Skill Test. From the results of experiments carried out the results of manual calculations of the application and manual calculations from the Institute of Cooperation get a presentation 100% equation in determining scholarship recipients. So as to produce the ranking of students, two students with the highest score in each department that will get a Joint Degree Program scholarship. Keywords: Scholarship, Student, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Decision Support System.
