A senior high school is responsible to deliver competitive human resources. A high school that has good facilities are more popular and attractive for junior high school students. To evaluate the school quality of service, we build a system to analyze the student's satisfaction with the learning process and services. To conduct the analysis, an information system was built to identify what components of the learning process needed to be improved. The method used is Quality Function Deployment (QFD) that clearly defines the needs and the expectations of students. The evaluation process was done by asking students to fill out a satisfaction questionnaire through the system. To get the analysis continuously this evaluation process can be carried out annually at the end of each school year. By using this computerized system, the evaluation results are obtained faster and more accurate.

This study was a case study which aimed to analyze the types of questions used by an English teacher, the purposes of questions asked by the teacher, and the strategy used to cope with non-responded questions. The subject of this study was an English teacher who taught seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Singaraja which is located in Singaraja, Buleleng regency, Bali, Indonesia. The data were collected through observation, interview, and video recording. The result of the analysis showed that from 241 questions, the teacher more frequently asked convergent, closed, and display questions rather than divergent, open, and referential questions. Procedural questions were also found. The teacher’s questions served several purposes such as to check students’ knowledge and understanding, to attract students’ activeness, to develop students’ interest and curiosity, and to stimulate students in stating information. It was also found that the teacher used seven strategies to cope with non-responded questions. This study suggested the teacher to balance the number of convergent, closed, and display with divergent, open, and referential questions to be used during teaching and learning process. In addition, the teacher should know more about the strategies for non-responded questions and the proper way to use those strategies to make the teaching and learning process runs smoothly.

Semi-structured interviews were conducted and a list of questions compiled for interviews was developed based on related literature. The results of this study are that there are several obstacles experienced by students, teachers and parents in teaching and learning activities both online and offline. Obstacles in the online learning process are mainly the lacking technology mastery, the additional cost of internet quota, and lastly the reduced communication and socialization between students, teachers and parents. Obstacles in offline learning are the distance the teacher travels to when visiting the student's residence which is quite far away and the additional work for the teacher in arranging the schedule for student home visits. The same constraints faced in online and offline learning are the existence of additional work for parents in accompanying children to study, and unlimited working hours for teachers because they have to communicate and coordinate with parents, other teachers, and school principals

Evaluation is the result of the teaching and learning process carried out by teachers and students. Assessment serves to measure students' understanding of the material given by the teacher. Evaluation or procurement activities also play an important role in improving the quality of learning. As for the accuracy of the use of the Indonesian language rules in the class and UAS test exam questions made by Indonesian Language teachers in SMP 27 for the last two years, namely in the total of 195 questions consisting of multiple-choice descriptions, it was found that 86 questions (44%) were not effective and 99 questions (51%) are effective. The most common mistake is the alignment and unity of ideas and economics. The accuracy of the use of the operational word in this study is quite good, because only 5 questions (3%) are incorrect and 190 other questions (97%) are stated correctly.

Good performance results are very valuable promotion for the progress of a private junior high school, either at the provincial or regional level. The implementation of regional autonomy has implications for the implementation of the evaluation process to be more professional, objective, honest and transparent as a series of school supervision and guidance. In order to improve the quality of education, there is a need tochange the supervision system functioning not only as a monitor but also guidance to organize education. Analysis process of all aspects of education should be directed at efforts to ensure the implementation of quality education (Quality Assurance) and empower those evaluated so as to produce graduates in accordance with established standards. Each school performance analyzed is expected to have positive impacts for the community, especially to any parents who want to send their children to junior high school, especially SMPK Satu Bakti Bogor. Although there are a few schools established for quite a long time and there are some newly operating, it is not a guarantee for these private junior high schools to continue to grow. This has encouraged the school component to perform better and have special attractions. Some of the private schools in Bogor city have been experiencing problems similar those in the SMP K Satu Bakti; namely, the difficulty to attract new students to enroll in their school. A better quality of performance, accordingly is required in order to attract more qualified applicants and prospective students in the future which is expected to maintain the sustainability of this junior high school existance.
Keywords: performance, consumer interest, importance of performance analysis, analytical hierarchy process
