Nowadays more than one million people become victim in an accident on the roads. Some efforts have already been done to reduce globally the number accident. This paper is to show the condition of some provincial roads as location study in province of Kalimantan Barat regarding with description, characteristic, and the causes of accident. The results indicate that the human error take part dominantly around of 65% accident number, meanwhile vehicle condition and road environment contribute less than 5 %. The provincial road is dominated by the two-lane two-way facility. The finding shows the frontal collision type around of 42 % on the accident number. Number of motor cycle dominate the type of vehicle on the road. It coincides with percentage of motor cycle significant involved at an accident around of 71%. The frontal collision at location of study is more than twice compared to national data. Ratio number of accidents to length of road is located on the road segment from Ketapang to Pesaguan around of 0.884 each kilometer

The Punge intersection in Banda Aceh City is a four-armed intersection without traffic control devices such as traffic lights and roundabouts. The intersection performance from visual observation is currently very low, especially during peak hours. Therefore, it is presently considered necessary to evaluate road performance and carry out alternative handling planning. One alternative handling is to plan a roundabout at the intersection. Thus, this study aims to obtain road performance by comparing the use of a roundabout and without a roundabout. Analysis and planning using the MKJI and PTV Vissim 10.00-02 methods. It requires data on traffic volume, road geometry, and environmental conditions around the location. The analysis of roundabout planning with the widening of each arm with the MKJI and Vissim methods produces the level of services to deliver the best decisions for improving the intersection performance

Established since the 80s, PT. XYZ is an air compressor manufacturing industry located in Tangerang, Indonesia. In the production process, the Air compressor type L Unloading 1/4 HP has a very complex supply chain network which makes the supply chain network activities experience obstacles in the form of risks or potential risks that can occur so that it can disrupt the smooth running of the supply chain activities of the air compressor type L. Unloading 1/4 HP. However, PT. XYZ has not maximally implemented risk mitigation actions in its supply chain. The purpose of this study is to propose a mitigation action against risk events that occur along the supply chain of water compressor type L Unloading 1/4 HP using the FFMEA (Fuzzy Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and FAHP (Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process) methods. Based on the research, there were 29 identified risk events with 5 priority risk events. And of the 5 priority risk events, each has 2 proposed mitigation actions per priority risk event

This article demonstrated how to calculate an airport landing movement in systematic five main stages encompassing; (i) data collection (including passengers data, aircraft movements, population, GDP, per capita income, cargos movement, temperatures, ground elevation, slope surface, wind speed, and aircraft characteristics), (ii) forecasting the future traffic demands, (iii) calculating aerodrome reference field length (ARFL), (iv) define aerodrome reference code (ARF), and (v) calculate runway dimensions, taxiways, and apron areas. This article has selected Hang Nadim International Airport (HIA) as a case study. It was identified that the aircraft movements in this airport have increased by an average of 7.30% every year in the periods of 2007 to 2016. This Airport has an existing apron with a capacity of 13 aircraft, while the apron currently has to accommodate 19 aircraft. Therefore, to anticipate future demand. This research evaluated and forecasted the requirements standard for the airport landing movement areas in 2026. Based on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) 2013 manuals and KM 44, 2002 regulation concerning the National Airport Regulation. This article recommended that the existing runway and taxiways would be adequate to facilitate future aircraft movements up to 2026. However, the apron requires to be expanded to 1,600 m x 150 m (which a capacity of 31 aircraft) for accommodating the apron requirements standard in 2026.

An unsignalized intersection is a part of a road where currents from different directions or directions meet. There was a conflict between currents from theopposite direction and intersecting each other, resulting in congestion along the arms of the intersection. Likewise, at the intersection of four arms without a signal at Sibuhuan Market, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra, there is a congestion caused by the reduction in the effective width of the road due to parking on the road. At the intersection of four arms without a signal at Sibuhuan Market, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra, there is a congestion caused by side obstacles, a high vehicle population that is not matched by the availability of adequate infrastructure so this research aims to analyze the performance of the four-arm intersection without a signal. based on Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997) and analyzes them to improve the performance of these unsignalized intersections. The analysis of the results showed that the intersection performance for the unsigned intersection conditions in the existing condition with the parking on the side of the road which reduced the effective width, the maximum total flow was 2341 pcu / hour, capacity (C) = 2707.06 pcu / hour, and the degree of saturation (DS) = 0.86, intersection delay (D) = 14.62 seconds / pcu and queuing opportunity (QP) 30.03 - 59.32%. Therefore, it is necessary to recalculate with various alternatives so that the DS value meets the requirements of the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual, which is < 0.75.

Flats for rent need to be designed so that residents move comfortably and can save themselves in times of disaster. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the spaces needed by the occupants by taking into account the reliability of the building-safety and comfort. Some aspects of building reliability are motion comfort and safety. Data was collected by an online questionnaire, which was distributed to residents using non-random sampling. The collected text data was analyzed by content analysis. From the results of the analysis revealed that residents tend to be comfortable moving in rental residential units. Residents need a secondary space that is a shelf and work space. Storage space represents the meaning of storage of small items. Work, study and storage of equipment represent the meaning of workspace needs. Residents need some secondary space in a residential unit that has aspects of motion comfort and security during disaster evacuation. Motion comfort mainly represents a little furniture, has storage space, and doesn't interfere with activities like sitting and watching television. The number of residents felt safe moving when disaster evacuation in vertical housing was almost the same as the number of residents who felt the evacuation route was not ideal. Easy access is achieved, wide circulation room, near the emergency stairs is represented by the meaning of feeling safe moving during a disaster evacuation. There is no special emergency ladder, narrow circulation space, the condition of a damaged staircase at the time of disaster evacuation is represented by meaning not ideal. This study found a significant relationship between the reasons for motion comfort and the presence of space requirements. There is no significant relationship between disaster evacuation security and secondary space requirements.
